It would be good for you to put a sign in front of the store for no parking as it blocks associates view if return lane.. I had to go in for the agent to see that we were waiting in the return/check-in space. More signage or direction from associates to know how and where rental needed to be returned would also be good. This location is not close to our home. We were disappointed that we were not able to pick up at the location that was listed in our reservation. We were disappointed to receive wooden crates rather than the metal storage/shipping containers. One of the crates was falling apart when we received it and we had to maneuver the door to even latche it. However, all our items in all crates arrived safely and securely at our destination a few days sooner than expected. Overall it was a smooth and easy moving process.Kenton J.

First off we reserved a trailer on Oct 18 online to be picked up on Oct 28th. The reservation said someone would contact us by the 19th. We never received a call. When we called to confirm we had a trailer on Oct 26 we were told there was no trailer available. We were also told that you only call 48 hours prior to pick up which is completely bogus. I had him read the reservation to admit he was talking out of his a**. The U-Hail on Nob Hill in Yakima, WA requires a mask to enter, but NONE of the employees wore masks. We took pictures of the mileage and fuel gage before leaving and adjusted the mileage on the link that was provided before we left the business. When we returned the truck the employee said we were to be charged for 21 miles when, in fact, it was 20 as I showed him. He also questioned the amount of gas I put in the vehicle despite showing him the gas gage was fuller when I returned it than when I picked it up. He ended up charging us for 21 miles and was generally a jerk the whole time. I can't think of a more unprofessionally run business than U-Haul. I hope we don't have to rent a truck or trailer anytime soon. It's a very frustration experience.CURTISS DAVID C.

on my second day of driving the 17' truck, I encountered rain during dark hours. When I turned the wipers on, one of the blades was shredded on the end and both blades were rotten and cracked. This causes a very dangerous condition where I had to drive while looking at the rear view mirrors to make sure I was still in my lane until I could get off the freeway and onto the shoulder. This was a most dangerous condition caused by negligence and laziness. When I picked the car hauler trailer up, the lights did not work. I finally found a blown fuse in the engine compartment and replaced it. The fuse blew again while driving somewhere between Idaho and Nevada. The Nevada State Police informed me of such.David W.

Out u-boxes were delayed because the driver was sick, we were told over the phone that they could be picked up on Saturday, but then the driver who dropped them off said the earliest was the following Wednesday. When they arrived, they were bolted shut. The driver said they were supposed to be opened, but she had no tools to open them, and unaware that this problem might arise, our tools were in the u-boxes. Had an employee at the local hardware store shown us the kindness of lending us his drill, we would have had to buy a $100+ drill to open u-boxes that should have been open when they were dropped off. U-haul is a total mess--we had so many issues with the company from start to finish--and while there are great individual employees who work for the company, overall I find the customer service to be completely apathetic to their customers, and their business model to be only about the bottom line, not about actually creating a positive experience for their customers.Erika P.

I reserved a 26' truck to move my household goods. It showed online that the equipment would be available only to get a call almost 2hrs later from Uhaul that they did not have the 26' truck. So I was given a 15' with the 4Ã—8 trailer. That caused me to have to make 3 trips instead of one and had to keep the equipment an extra day to ensure my move. I would have like to seen Uhaul accomodate customers, like myself, in that situation with better care since the short of equipment reserved was not the fault of the customer.LASAGON M.

Worst experience from UHaul I have ever had. Customer service people are rude and flat out don't give a damn. This move was to move my daughters things for school. Was told it would be delivered on a certain date asked again are you sure this is the date it will arrive. I purchased airline tickets to be there to unload the box. Was informed the box didn't leave when it was supposed to and the delivery date would be different one or two days would not have been a big deal. 10 days because of their incompetence is a big deal and no one cared. Some lady emailed me a couple time and then would not return my emails. Those airline tickets wee $1000 and none refumdable. I could not make the trip 10 days later so had to purchase tickets to have some one else go which cost another $1000. So I'm out an additional $1000 ubaul will loose a hell of a lot more business than that. The company I work for rented from haul for local deliveries almost 200 days last year and the last couple years. After learning of this we are now renting from ryder and penske and uhaul will never see another penny of my money or my companies money. You can't treat people like this and get lied to and except to have return customers. I used to hold uhaul with high regards they were an American icon. No longer you need to get rid of every customer service person you have and start over with people who care and not just care about a paycheck!Thomas H.

Truck was not well maintained, a coolant hose came lose while driving spilling coolant all over the road, It was just a hose clamp that was not installed properly so I was able to repair it myself. But I had to top it off with 2 gallons of coolant that I had to go out of my way and go buy myself. So yea it was just a bad experience.Juan O.

Upon my visit I was just going in to rent a storage which I did (by the way storage display was very helpful) I expressed that I was moving and also needed a cargo but was going to rent one in another town upon that the guy was nice to help me find a cargo in another city and was able to book a cargo and same time and get all that set up for me. I left this place amazed if his customer service and taking tht xtra step. Thanks I will definitely send some people to this uhaul place on E. Nob hill and doing my business here. My assigned storage room is furthest from the only working entrance. It is a huge building. There are many entrances, but they are “inoperable” and do not allow access. Staff told me it is because the building is not finished being built. The storage business hours are falsely displayed in many places and it is not 24 hour access, it isn’t even regular hour access. Storage hours are the same as office hours, but nobody including staff informed me of that. I understand if hours are different due to covid, however, ALL the signs in the building and online could be updated. It is false advertising and will be reported to the BBB. There were several available storage rooms that were much closer to the only door of access so why was mine placed so far from it. Some staff members were rather rude to tell me I could “just get storage elsewhere” when I expressed my concerns. I won’t recommend uhaul storage to anyone I know. Mike was the only person to help explain issues to me even though he was unable to help make it right. Basically, all staff told me to deal with it, or I could get storage elsewhere. Inconvenient location of the storage room within the huge building from the only service entrance. Falsely advertised hours of access to storage online and at the facility.
