I had one of the worst experiences of my whole life at this location. My belongings got stolen from our truck the second night putting us almost 3 full days behind... I was charged over 130 dollars and treated like criminal.... I was lied too, both me and my sick girlfriend had to walk to the closes gas station since our vehicle ran out of gas on a different date... Both me and my family which is a big part of the selah -Yakima community will never rent from U-Haul again. I believe they are doing something completely unfair and wrong as they have also tried to bill me and charge my card for almost 600 dollars... which I did not authorize and will not authorize until court... you simple don't treat customers like this especially Simone who rents several times a year. Linsey was excellent, thorough, professional & friendly. When we were there to rent our unit she was the only employee present. She handled at least a dozen other customers. Including an upset customer, checking out & receiving rentals. I was there 90 minutes after I paid for the unit before she could show me the unit. The girl who delivers the U-Boxes is amazing. She's competent and sweet. Very good at her job. I give her 10 stars out of 5. I had the experience of not receiving my u-boxes on time because of a nationwide network issue. This is understandable. There was nothing U-Haul could've done differently on that specific day. But! When I was trying to reschedule the boxes to be delivered after the network issue, I continually called the local branch to find out how to do so. They would not pick up the phone. I stopped into that local Uhaul location on Nob Hill Blvd in Yakima, WA. The male manager there could not have been less enthused to help me. As he sat in the silence of the empty room, he claimed he'd been too busy to answer the phone as I repeatedly called in the morning. He gave me the phone number to call to reschedule my U-Boxes. He didn't offer any apologies for my inconvenience, or extra concern or help. I just think he's a poor manager who doesn't care about the customers at all, and is therefore, unfit for his position. Nationally, I think Uhaul handled my experience ok.Shelley U.

Renting the Uhaul box from the Yakima Uhaul location was a great experience, However, the shipment took was an absolute headache! the U-Box was almost two weeks late. The communication between the Albuquerque location and transport seemed non-existent. No one could tell me WHY there was a delay. I did get a refund for each day the box was late but it was a more stressful experience than I expected. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING U-BOX.Stephanie M.

Jimmy at Nob Hill in Yakima was the best! He was extremely helpful after we had to drive 60+ miles extra to drop off our trailer because our dropoff location in Cashmere, WA refused to allow the dropoff. You need to drop the Chevron Uhaul location in Cashmere. Your pickup and dropoff verification system is a disaster, only confirming 2 days in advance, and then changing dropoff location on the spot. This is the second time it's happened to us!Dale R.

I really liked the online option to reserve a storage unit. I was working long hours and didnt have the time to go in person and having the option to do all this online was super convenient. I wish you would adjust our bill when we DO NOT use the moving pads. If you CAN add them to our final bill, if used (bag seal broken and not ordered in advance) then you should be able to reduce the bill when they were not used. The equipment and staff were all wonderful. I wrote down the name of the lady who checked me out the day I rented (picked up) all the equipment on a piece of paper. She was OUTSTANDING, unfortunately, in the move, that paper got lost. On the contract it lists Michael Denton, but that WAS NOT the person who helped me. ALL the staff (reservation day / pick up day / drop off day) were all wonderful.DANIEL A.

The only issue, is the 24/7 checkout site. It gives clear instructions to get all your belongings, then check the environment you are leaving the truck, is it safe to exit . Lock doors then drop keys . So AFTER you drop keys, log in to app does it ask you to get mileage and take a picture . So I wasn't Able to properly return truck after hoursMARY C.

My box was in Yakima for over a year and everything was in good condition when it arrived. I would recommend the Yakima location for storage of your goods. I do suggest that U-Haul do a better job of explaining the process of shipping and what happens when the box arrives. I do not think that the U-Haul representatives that I had to deal with on the phone did a good job of providing an explanation of how the process worked or what would happen to box when it arrived in Virginia or what the cost would be.Barbara M.

A customer who is renting, actually using the equipment should be provided a DIRECT LINE (phone number) to the rental facility, NOT ever be routed to a switchboard - Call Center - where theye are told that hold times are 15 or 20 minutes. I had reserved a trailer and then a day before pick up you changed the pickup location to a place 60 miles away. I called customer service only to get a person who was very rude and uncompliant. I asked her to double check and make sure there wasn't any other trailers available in my town. She refused. I asked for the manager. She refused. Finally I just cancelled my reservation. I hung up the phone and immediately called the local place I had scheduled for pickup and sure enough there was a trailer there the person there was very helpful. Only issue we had was with the manager, a woman. I'm not sure what her problem was with us, but she seemed triggered, saidnI personally had attitude with her when I did not. She kept going with her attitude so she got attitude back. She had said to me looks whos name is on the building, so maybe that will help identify her? I'm not sure what her name was. But the gentleman that helped as well as the supervisor that helped, de-escalate or that tried to, she was amazingly helpful! I plan to use u-haul in the future when I move my entire house, but if she is there we will probably go elsewhere. She really had no reason to keep going with her attitude and yelling on her way out the door. Then she called the other lady as soon as she was down the road. Sighed heavily when the supervisor had told her we were getting a storage, then said she didn't want us to get a storage unit there. My last experience was not great with in two hours to get a truck plus did not get the dolly I ordered. But, this experience with so far better was upgraded to a bigger truck due to location and limited supply but, have a great help and service great vehicle to use all went perfectly yes, I thought it would because I didn't think the last experience was consistent with the way do business.
