An E-alert was placed on my rental. When I called 1-877-653-0490 to find out why, the person who answered could not find a reason the E-alert was issued. They contacted the U-haul I was at and omvented the computer to allow my rental. It took much longer to process the rental than it should have.Kevin G.

When you have 3 employees in the offices and only one customer and someone else walks in looking for help finding a mattress cart, the response should be â€œyes we do! Overall, our experience was fine. The unit was clean and most of the staff was friendly and helpful much of the time. On occasion we had to interact with an employee that didn't seem thrilled or happy to help us, but it was not a chronic issue. My only real complaint was false or misleading information posted (or allow to be posted) online for the Nob Hill location. We drove from West Valley because it is posted online that "access" hours are from 5am to 10pm, with no further details. "Office" hours and "Access" hours are apparently the same. We got there within the 7 0' clock hour but were promptly asked to leave. We were standing right in front of our storage unit but told that we were not allowed to quickly grab just a couple of small boxes- this was upon our move out. My final verdict: yes, I would recommend Uhaul indoor storage (I have never rented an outdoor storage so I cannot speak to that). I would, however, encourage people not to trust the website and just call ahead of time to avoid wasting a trip (and gas) or be forced to drop everything and leave. The best thing the owner of this location can do is address any incorrect information online, regardless of whether or not they themselves posted it. Ensuring that customers aren't inconvenienced should be a priority.Gina R. | Overall Experience

The contract said the truck had 3/4 tank when it actually had less than that. I tried adjusting the amount during check-in but the online slider bar to adjust fuel level was too sensitive and it was difficult to set the gage exactly like the gage in the truck. I did the best I could. Because if the difficulty adjusting the online gage, I was charged $14 for 2 gallons of gas for driving a total of 5 miles. I would've understood 1 gallon, but 2 is excessive. I hardly used any gas and essentially paid extra because of the faulty online tool.Brittany B.

The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the size unit I reserved online wasn't available. Not because of the facility but online it need to be changed what sizes are actually at each location. I'm moving states and got to the yakima location to find the unit didn't exist there. Thankfully there was 1 10x10 available but I ended up having to use 2 units with no space to spare because of the online reservation listing spaces that aren't available.Jessica W. | First Impressions

Make the fuel gauge reading less confusing. Don't expect everyone to have a smart phone to be able to start the journey and return the equipment. Enable the website to do the same functions as the app without a smart phone, or make an area on your website for returns after hours that does not include a smartphone.Karen R.

While I had no mechanical problems with the last truck I rented, the brakes squealed and the back hatch was VERY hard to slide up and down. The customer service is fantastic and they almost always have whatever I need to rent. So much cheaper than a monthly truck ayment. Mary B.

"Jimmy," I believe his name was, is a train wreck. When we couldn't agree on something he said read your contract...when I told him there's nothing in the contract he said, it's our policy.
