Waited forever for the employee to come inside only for him to help someone that wasn't there before me. Employee told me the truck is in the back of the parking lot. In the past it has always been pulled up in the front for me. Had to take the big cardboard advertisement sign out of the windshield. Return the truck same employee outside talking about let me check you out real quick. Cigarette hanging out of his mouth the whole time steps away from the propane tank where there are multiple signs saying no smoking. Very unprofessional visit with this experience.Shannon S.

Friendly during trailer drop off and truck drop off. Even called us for items we left on the truck. Noticed we were charged a cleaning fee. This is disappointing since we absolutely scrubbed that filthy cab prior to our travels, during our travels, and prior to drop off. I guarantee no cleaning was necessary. Swept bed, gave back rental items and several boxes.Margaret D.

Product was great and truck well maintained. The app would not let me load a picture for afterhours return. Spent 30 minutes, restart phone, restart app - it would not load. App needs MAJOR overhaul as this is now the second time that it will not workALLEN B.

Uhaul needs to improve the application for the after hours return of vehicles. I wasted over 2.5 hours of time trying to get the application to work for me. Possibly a written set of instructions for those who need to complete this action, especially those who have not experienced the issues. I have an LG cellphone. Looks like the system is written for IPhones but there are a lot of brands of cell phones out there... Mine is a "Smart" phone and not low end either. This part of the experience was horrible after the efforts move the item I rented the van to use to transport it.CAROL C.

Waiting for half an hour to fill out the form online and get the key should change the system to speed upTERRY K.
The online truck check out process was a challenge. The app didn't work right. When I returned the truck it kept telling me I was entering lower mileage than when I checked it out and wouldn't let me return the truck. So staff returned it for me. Otherwise, everything else went fine.Stephen W.
What's purpose of online check in still have to go inside wait inline and not enough people to help you always line out door. And think it's stupid to charge a fuel fee when customer brings back like it was we put gas in it if that case then you need to do it yourself. Very unfriendly staffbonnie K.

Local location was very good. The u-hail computer system is a disaster and should be updated or replaced. Always takes 15 to 30 minutes to complete a simple task. Same experience, but worse, at other locations.Donn J.

I was over charged the rate I was quoted. No telephone support for questions. I was charged an extra day, even though the vehicle was returned on time. No one at front counter when vehicle was returned. I was on hold for 25 minutes just to speak with someone in the national call center to rectify the overcharge. Very dissatisfied!BRADLEY K.

When we first booked in June through Waukee the UBox was not ready. My wife and my mother in law took a day off to pick this up first thing in the morning. There was no one with a CDL there to get it, the guy at the counter said come back in an hour. Cool, they come back in an hour and there is someone there loading semis with empty UBoxes and we again were told (this time they can hear the lady over the two way radio) when they have time they will do this. We told the person at the counter to cancel. After over an hour and a half on the phone I finally spoke to someone who confirmed with Gianni that one was available. Great. Call Wednesday morning to get it picked up for Thursday. They said all good. We get there and it's not ready at all. Someone has to go to Waukee to get a cover. It all started as a cluster and ended the same way .Nic S.
