I had questions on my bill and was waiting on hold for 22minutes and 37 seconds. No one ever picked up. Can't imagine that you'd be that busy on a Tuesday. I have rented vans from U-haul in Vestal 6 times in the past 6 months. Never had any additional random charges until today. $25 clean out bill. Why? I can't reach anyone to ask!Frances C.

Connect to a person when calling the store. It's very busy, which understandably, puts customer service over the phone on back burner, but redirecting to a service that connects to a human if a store employee isn't available would be helpful. Not everyone has unlimited internet access or ability to change reservation or give a heads up if running fifteen minutes late. In store, a grace period for return was given, but when running late driving vehicle back, I was unable to call ahead to notify. But it worked out in the end anyway. So I suppose it's not too big of an issue.EVA W.

You don't need to improve anything. I'd like to take this comment's purpose to than two employees that helped me. I lost some personal items while I was at the counter, renting a 15" U-Truck. U-Haul Associate Noah Dubois and the manager of the site, notified me immediately, after I left those personal items behind. The personnel in the location it was changed to were excellent. Experience-stressful. Arranged rental a month in advance to Binghamton. Received a call business close the evening before leaving that the truck would be unavailable until much later that day. Relocating out of the city and house sold. I was panicked. Called uhaul and they fixed it changing the location to another nearby one. Wonderful young lady but so, so stressful.dawn G.

I've used this uhaul location several times. Honestly one of the most pleasantly staffed businesses I've experienced. Everyone is working hard but makes the time and effort to be pleasant, knowledgeable and respectful. Equipment is always polished clean. I reserved a van online two days in advance, the next day I received a text that the van was not available, and that I'd have to go to another location, which meant backtracking and more fees. When I went to the 2nd location, at 9 a.m., I was informed the vehicle was not there. In fact there was only one vehicle there which was much larger than the one(s) I'd reserved, and I have people I'm paying as I wade through the morass of UHaul. I think this rental was good. We needed a van for a short day's move and it worked out very well.Patricia W.
1. The trialor was "checked" prior to leaving by an employee who said we were all set, to arrive at our destination an hour later and discover the one brake light was out. 2. We stopped at the scranton uhaul because we didnt want to drive a trailor with no brake lights home. They refused to take it without a 150$ charge, and offered to fix the light (fine). In the process they fixed the upper light and didnt reconnect the lower light. When asked about it, they told us " those lights arent needed. On the new trucks they are stickers." 3. Upon return, trucks were lined up all the way to 434. It was difficult to even get in the parking lot. Trying to complete the return was also a pain. Trying to scan the barcode to verify the location failed every time. Taking a picture failed. And despite the instructions on the door, there was no where to type in the barcode number. It's impossible to return after hours without a cell phone and without creating an account or downloading the app. The directions on the door next to the dropbox are different than the directions you get if you ever get the "return my trailor" feature on the website to work.Jonathan O.

Literally every single person that works at this location is so chill and nice. Maybe it's because customer service has gotten tougher since the pandemic began but I was just always impressed with how patient and helpful everyone that works there is. You guys have an awesome team at that location and they really were one of the brightest parts of my whole moving experience because I felt absolutely no stress dealing with them in what was otherwise a pretty stressful situation. I had to call because we were going to be late. I waited on the phone for almost 30 minutes for someone to answer. I'm guessing that I wasn't talking to the Uhaul place I rented from, the person on the phone didn't have the right info. Let people call and talk to their store people.
