They said I rent the trailer for 5 days when I rent it for less then 2 day. I have to go and look for a copy of my rental agreement to show them that is not the case. It is scary to known that without showing my copy of the agreement I might had no choice but paying for 5 days.

don't double charge my for two days of rental plus a service charge of $30 plus the cost of gas when I returned the truck within 24 hours and also put gas in.

Wow, where to begin? If I were to write out the entire wretched experience, it would take more than an hour and a half, because that's how long my complaint to U-haul took to compose and I'm not sure this comment box will allow me that much room. What I will say is that is that if you have any choice at all, do NOT use this location. It is particularly bad. A few days before our move, we found out our delivery was not scheduled, despite me having ordered it a month in advance. I spent HOURS (I am not exaggerating) on the phone, trying to get the delivery scheduled for moving day. The night before our move, it was clearly not going to work, so I finally gave up and cancelled the delivery, because our movers offered to pick up the boxes. Even that was nearly impossible to do. Our movers showed up to get the boxes the next morning from the office and the delivery was STILL IN THE SYSTEM. Then the location only had one trailer, so we had to fill a box, take it north (in crazy rush hour traffic), drop it, pick up another empty box and repeat the whole thing over again for the third box. The entire move took 13 hours, because of that. (Shout-out to Shelby & Tim, two amazing men at E & M Moving). After that horrible day, I spent a long time complaining to U-haul's general complaint line but nothing really happened to make it right. THEN fast forward a few months to when we needed our boxes delivered to us and U-HAUL HAD LOST ONE OF OUR BOXES. I was at my wit's end and went up the chain to find someone in the corporate office. I got an email back the same day putting me in touch with Chris, the regional manager for Northern California, and he took care of us really well. I mean really well. The box was finally located and all three were delivered to us and then they were picked up again, no problem, so the whole move is finally behind us. But why was it so hard to get good service, U-haul? Why did I have to get so angry and go all the way to the top? Why can't you just treat your employees better and train them better and make it so that they actually want to do a good job in the first place? It's so clear that you are running a company with short-sighted goals. Make it a place that people want to work, where they have company pride, where they feel valued, so that they then value the customer. Seriously. This was hands down one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company. If you do use them, make sure to take photos of your Ubox numbers. That was the only reason we were able to get the box back, which they had lost. Otherwise there's no telling what crazy number they'll associate with your account. Their records were all wrong.

The truck was filthy dirty. The windows front and back were badly stained with water/dirt residue. I questioned the employee who checked me into the truck and he said he had no way of washing the trucks. I noticed he had window cleaner and rags on his wall and he didn't even offer to clean the windows. Terrible.

Young lady who assisted me in picking up my cargo trailer was extremely nice and helpful. Due to the lack of help she alone hooked up my trailer and got me going. More people should take pride in their work like her.

It should have been easy to drop off a U haul but this location found a way to make it 10x more complicated. Apparently there is an 'exit only' driveway but no one felt the need to put up a sign. Several cars got stuck facing one another and we all had to reverse and do u-turns to get ourselves out of our parking lot traffic jam. When we pulled into the drop off parking lot all the spots were blocked with traffic cones. We didn't know where to park and the workers in the parking lot did not help us at all. I had to get out of the U haul and ask. We were directed to park in front of the main building. We went inside and waited in a disorganized line only to be told we should have been helped by the parking lot workers. It was a frustrating experience.

the windows were pretty dirty, it was hard to see through. the weather stripping around the door kept falling off. there was a high pitch whine when on the freeway. the staff in both receiving & returning were very professional

The van’s front window was filthy. I had to clean it in order to see SAFELY. The cab was dirty, debris in console, under seats, in door pockets. The outside of the van was dirty. The “Service tire pressure sensor” warning light was on and the warning over rode the odometer. The people at this location were very nice but obviously didn’t care about the condition of the vehicle.

I had such a terrible experience at this location and will not be using Uhaul again in the future. Moving is already a stressful experience and this location just added to the stress. I reserved a van but when I arrive they could not find the reservation. I went two towns over because I was specifically looking for the van. After I gave them my order number, they said they only have a truck or a 26 foot moving truck available. The 26 foot moving truck was way too large so we went with the truck. It took 35 minutes to get the truck. We were not prepared to have a truck so we did not bring rope or tarps. They gave us used shoelace rope and one small pack of rope after we asked. When I called to complain the manager called me back. He said he could not give me a refund because his team was able to provide me with something so they refunded only 30 dollars. YOUR TEAM was unable fill my original reservation and I had to use the truck because I needed to move and had no other option. I still ended up paying 75 for the day and 50 dollars to put gas in it. I was going to be dropping the truck off late so I told the employee and asked if all I needed to do was drop the keys in the box and she replied, “yes!” She mentioned nothing about having to use the app to check out when you return the truck and that it would be a 20 dollar charge if you did not do so. I had to call customer service late at night for a second time and luckily they did not charge the 20 dollars. However, this whole experience was terrible from start to finish and I will NEVER use Uhaul services again.

I booked a 6X12 trailer way in advance. Got a call day before stating pick up.location now not in our town even though there are 2 locations in our town. We show up almost 11 miles from home and are told no trailer available. No one called us. Very frustrating and extra driving all over which we were not compensated for. When moving is planned for a certain day/time, and is already stressful, getting a call a day before that says we must now pick up at a much further location, only to arrive at that location and be told at that they do not have a trailer for us and now we have to drive the complete opposite direction another 30 miles to get a trailer is really not ok. This is terrible customer service. We had people waiting for us based on our iriginal pick up time. We wete not compensated for our time nor all the miles and gas driving because you did not have a trailer as,we reserved. I have used uhaul numerius times in my life and always had good customer service but this run around was horrible.

These folks deal with a lot of uptight people. They are friendly and work well together. Plenty of vans. Easy in and out at 6pm

The people working here are friendly and competent. The van I rented was in relatively good shape and operated just fine. However, it was dirty, which is not really a problem. But the windshield was filthy and there was no fluid in the windshield wiper mechanism. This is not a big deal but it'd be good if the windshield could be cleaned before new drivers take a vehicle.

Corporate, your locations are understaffed, no Management from Maine DepArture to West Coast, take care of your employees, they were incredible, but they must have engaged leadership to lead them.

store manager ignored me about the delay:24 hours which cost me $200 more for their screw up. no apologies no attempt to rectify. no communication. very unprofessional. was guilt tripped by staff.

I ordered a U-box and was not contacted until 3.5 hours after the promised delivery time. I cancelled my order due to this and want to know when I will be receiving a refund for this
