I love how checking things are online. The process was faster than in the past because of the online check-in of the milage and damage. I got a text, but I wish the front desk person reminded me because I did not know what to do with it.

I had a hard time figuring out where to go since the drop off location was blocked from a truck bring returned by someone else and there was no room and nobody outside to tell me where to go at the very small lot.

The gentleman who checked out the truck to me and was also there when I returned it was by far the best uhaul rep I've ever dealt with. He was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. You can tell that he wants to do right by his customers. Again, by far the best uhaul rep I've ever worked with and I have worked with many for moving myself and many family members

Very long wait time with only one agent working on a Saturday morning. Rental truck was delivered with a nearly empty fuel tank which didn't get noticed until I was a few miles down the road. Had to fill the tank and am still waiting to see the refund.

I was supposed to pick-up 10' truck at Rose City Storage on SE Belmont. They did not have equipment and U-haul sent me to Vons Towing at 15th and Quimby. They did not have a 10' truck for long haul to Los Angeles and sent me to north Portland for eventual pick-up and stood in line for 30minutes. I had to use light rail and a friend to shuttle around Portland for pick-up.

The checkin and return process was confusing and complicated. There are *too many* options for each step of the process, so it’s impossible to know what needs to happen at any individual step. I couldn’t actually check in via mobile because the vehicle was packed at the back of a full lot, and three trucks had to move before I could pull out of the lot. When I went to return, I couldn’t leave it in the lot and check myself out online; the driveway had an employee’s car parked blocking the lot. By choosing to check in online, I had to stand for 30 minutes in the parking lot while I waited for my documents to upload and another 15 minutes for someone to review them due to a weak cell connection at this location. Having been prompted to upload documents for review at the time of my reservation, rather than at the time of pickup, would have let me avoid this delay.

When I called to confirm hours of availability for drop off I was told between 7am-7pm. Even when I mentioned I might be cutting it close on the return nothing was mentioned about having to be there 30 minutes prior to closing for returns. I arrived at 6:50 and was then told returns needed to be done by 6:30pm. The woman who was working was very kind and could tell how frustrating this was and she accepted the return and just advised she would need to stay late because of it. She really went above and beyond! In addition, because of the rush we had left a cell phone in the truck and immediately returned and she had already recovered it. I wish I would have gotten her name...she is a gem.

Better attention to detail and documentation, especially regarding odometer reading and gas tank fill levels when vehicle is checked out. I would have been more impressed with the rental process if staff had seemed concerned that I was satisfied, considering the high cost of the short term rental. While I understand the requirement for staff to protect valuable assets, there seemed to be little concern about any protections for the consumer.

I’ve used a U-Haul car transporter in the past and always had a great experiences ,nice piece of equipment. However this time when making a reservation I was told a transporter was available at a location that did not have a transporter. This u-Haul location was in the same town as where I was picking up the car. After finding out no transporter was available I then had to drive one and a half hours out of my way to pick up a transport at a different u-Haul location. As a U-Haul customer I feel some compensation should be made to me on U-Haul’s part for the inconvenience. The miss information extended my day,wasted my time and my resources

This location doesn’t take appointments despite a uhaul cust service agent making an apt for me :). Experience was good. This location only had one person working and he was inundated with customers at 7am... inundated being 3. More help. A call the night before.

The person that helped us answered a call while assisting us then hung up on the caller. She complained to us about her manager leaving her alone at 10 and needing work by herself the remainder of the day. During the paperwork she informed us that the truck we were renting had a full tank of gas. Before driving off we noticed it was only 1/2 a tank. We mentioned it to her and showed her a picture. She said she’d correct the paperwork. When we returned the truck she tried to charge us for not filling up the gas tank. We had to remind her once again that the tank was not full when we left. The equipment was fine, making the reservation was simple, but the onsite service could use some improvement.

The gentleman who helped me in the morning was not very friendly. He took awhile to help me with my rental, despite me being the only one in the store, and upon fumbling some details about my rental (e.g., I said "17-inch truck" instead of "17-foot") he replied with sarcastic comments and a snarky attitude. Furthermore, even my questions that were quite normal and reasonable were met with this same attitude. This was the first time I had rented a U-Haul on my own and I wasn't very knowledgeable, I just wanted some help and to ask some questions without feeling like I was being made fun of. This was the early morning (8-8:15am) of 6/1/19. Later that afternoon the young woman who helped me check my truck back in was very nice and helpful.

Rented on line and was sent to a satellite location that did not have trucks. Was sent to another location. When returning the truck only a 3 digit store location was input instead of a six number location. Took 1/2 hour to return the truck.

When I went to pick up the trailer, the lady working didn’t acknowledge me and took advantage of every distraction to not help me. I was on my own to figure out how to hook up the trailer and make sure everything worked electrically. She kept telling me things to do but wouldn’t help me. I informed her that I didn’t really know what I was doing and she didn’t want to take the time to help. When dropping off the trailer, there was a guy that was getting in a van. He saw me but did not acknowledge me and drove off. I waited about 10 minutes, thinking he would come back, and I had my kid in the car so i couldn’t easily just go inside. I tried calling and was immediately placed on hold. When the guy finally came back, he told me to leave it where I found it which involved me backing my SUV with the trailer to the back of the yard and between uhaul trucks. I have rented a trailer from another location and did not have this experience at all. I was very disappointed.

The manager did not even look up to acknowledge us when we came in and didn’t seem to be paying too close attention to us. The experience was fine, we got what we needed, but that was one aspect in which there’s room for improvement.

Went past 6 U-Haul places to deliver where they wanted me to. Doing so the unit went over the allotted miles that I had to pay for.hopefully will never have to rent from U-Haul again.

I was over charged for everything possible. I returned the truck with the exact same amount of fuel (I have photos) and was charged $48, $25 cleaning feeeven though I swept... and now I have to spend time to make my case on Monday. I drove 30 miles and $83 at the start turned into over $200.

Made appt online and prepaid. I arrive for my appt and she looks at me like I'm a complete mystery. They find the order but tell me the parts have not come in? I ask why I wasn't notified... No answer. So after racing to make that appt I now have to schedule another. At that appt the customer service was rushed. Unfriendly and even condescending and rude. I won't be recommending or going there again.

The location needs to have more staffing during the busy time in morning. The single person working that day did a fantastic job handling all the customer traffic which was well beyond what a single person should be expected to do efficiently. Despite that, the local service during all phases was outstanding. The 1-800 service people were also very efficient. Thanks!

We have used this location a few times as it is extremely convenient BUT the customer service is terrible. At our most recent visit, the person working was rude, short and had NO customer service skills. She demanded that we park on the street (when the parking lot was empty, and you would think that the parking lot would be for PAYING CUSTOMERS). The only car in the parking lot, specifically parked in the 'short term, only for people picking up supplies' spot was her! So that was fun. She was quick to check us in/out, but cut us off when we asked follow up questions about the process. I will avoid Uhaul, and this location, at all costs.

This was a fine experience, my only complaint is about gas tank rule. I was told to fill it to where it was when I got it, it looked full so I filled it. I ended up putting 5 gallons in the tank when I know I used less than 1 (I drove 10 miles total). It was just frustrating that the tank wasn't actually full when I was given the vehicle.

The one guy working at 9 a.m. (when I was 5th in line) was awesome and had way too much for one person to do. The one person working around 2 p.m. during my drop off, when I was the only customer, couldn't have been less helpful if she tried (overheard during a call re: a reservation, "can we drop it after hours?" "no, wednesday at noon" [the various "after hours drop" boxes and information are meant for something else then?] / "how much is my total cost?" "I don't know, I didn't look at that part and I have to go back in to find it for you"). Give the morning guy a raise.

The fuel gauge was lower than what was shown in my contract so I paid for the previous customer's gas. I asked my questions to the "technician" at your location because your sales person was incompetent.

Employee was clearly stoned. Returned vehicle 1.5 hours after I rented it, but employee apparently didn't check it in for 6 more hours, leading to me being double charged on Rental Charge and the CDW charge. Vehicle was full of mud upon receipt. Luckily I wasn't hauling anything that needed to remain clean.
