I had an reservation at a 3rd party vendor named bringes in Clinton Township, I booked it day in advance, I showed up at my scheduled time, and with no notice, phone call, or anything, all the tell me is, they don't have the truck. It completely inconvenience me, as I took off work, and had to scramble to find another truck

Contactless pick up required almost 20 minutes of waiting inside, giving copy of my DL, signing forms and waiting for equipment? Staff was friendly and helpful but not knowledgeable and seemed to have trouble with the computer system. Maybe he was new?

This place had the worst customer service ever. The person i picked the truck up from didn't tell me anything about the contract, -just handed me the keys as if i were an expert, despite having never rented a truck before. When i dropped the truck off at the end of a 12 hour moving day, they hit me with a $23 gas charge because they said the gas was at half a tank when i left but it was really only 3/8 full, which i returned it to exactly after putting $30 gas in it. But they didn't believe me. And the woman who checked in the truck was a total bitch. Everyone who works at this particular location seems to be lackadaisical, apathetic, and downright stupid.

Steering was absolutely shit. Almost got in an accident, the dolly that we had to pay for $7.00 was right in the way when we didn't even need one so we had to take it off and pay which was utter bullshit. Uhaul was just old as fuck man. Pretty pissed on how fuckin' bad it was since we were hauling music and stage equipment which isn't the cheapest thing in the world. So honestly, not happy with the way it turned out.

Truck kept flooding and would not start had to keep it 2 days to do one small trip to storage unit less than 5 miles away due to the truck being flooded. I called and was told to let it sit for a little while and see if it starts by person that answered the phone.

Be careful on witch one you go to this location was ok ...... But stay away from the one on Groesbeck and Schoenherr if you are a white person you will be treated badly as i was called a Crackers and was treated by racial profile I will not use U-Haul ever again

The location is good the but the entrance into the parking lots off Gratiot Ave is hard to turn in to it due to the traffic coming from the expressway off-ramp. Other than this the place was clean vehicles ready to go and the staff, very helpful and courteous getting on the road quickly and efficiently. I have had the worst experience with Uhaul yet again. After the horrible experience I encountered the first time, I stupidly agreed to give Uhaul another chance. Moving itself is a stressful situation, but both of these times my experience with Uhaul made it 100 times worse. First, I show up first thing yesterday morning to pick up the Uhaul for my 9AM reservation and yet again I was told that the 15 ft. truck that I reserved was not ready because it wasn't even at the location yet. I understand that things happen, but this wasn't the first time. Why have "reservation guarantees" and have people depend on that, if that is never the case. It's super frustrating and a waste of time and money to have people help me move at a certain time when I don't show up with the truck until an hour or so later. We finally received a call and drove away in the Uhaul just before 10 AM. Upon returning the Uhaul my husband wasted another 30 minutes of his time because the employees at the Roseville Michigan Uhaul location have no idea how to do their job, and yet the issue was still incorrect and unresolved. After my troubles last time I was issued a $50 certificate to use towards any uhaul rental or purchase (which is the only reason why I even considered renting from Uhaul on this occasion). Upon trying to use this $50 certificate (Number: 0B768EC0), my total that I should have been charged is only $41.66, but the receipt that I have which shows the net paid today and the amount currently pending from my bank account is $91.66. I've also got 2 additional pending charges from uhaul for $93.76. I check the certificate number, and it now says its $0, but I don't see where the $50 was actually credited towards the most recent uhaul rental. These two experiences with Uhaul have been so beyond frustrating and more stressful and annoying at a time in life where nobody needs this extra bullshit. I will be sharing my horrible experiences with anyone and everyone. I want to make sure that I am being issued a refund of $50 for the reservation guarantee and that I am being credited for the $50 certificate that I used. If I need to I will dispute the charge of $91.66 with my bank, because I did not authorize that amount to be taken from my account. Colette Jenkins
