Crappy service. Uhaul was poorly maintained. Center console was falling apart, there was a very apparent brake issue with the unit (either the master cylinder or pads were worn to the bone) I had the most difficulty stopping. The trailer had several leaks and holes as we accidentally found out when it rained here in California and all of my VERY EXPENSIVE camera equipment got drenched. I took video and pictures and the uhaul refused to recognized that the trailer was damaged and stated â€œwe're water resistant. Not water proofâ€ which is a crappy way of not taking ownership of damaged vehicles. I even added insurance to this haul which they refused to honor. Now I have $6,000 worth of damaged video camera equipment. You bet I'll fight this.FRANK L.
I rented for a flat rate with promotion and they charged me full price. They did not honor the promotion.Win A.
I absolutely recommend this location, because I wasn't waiting 30 minutes before my turn was next. I was immediately called on and the customer service representative was attentive and courteous. Also, he was honest, because I forget my wallet in the truck, and he returned it to me without hesitation. All my credit cards, Covid-19 vaccine card, driver license were in there. The mobile check-in process is very frustrating. An email to explain to use Safari over Chrome, step by step "how to" in advance would be helpful. Give instructions and expectations when checking- out after hours - IN ADVANCE - would be helpful...you are going to have to take a photo of the odometer and gas gauge, etc. I had locked the truck and put the keys in the dropbox BEFORE seeing the checkout process on my phone.John B.
The U haul rental business on 2107 Commonwealth was terrible service. They kept asking for a second phone number 4 times. We waited for 40min and left. So we went to the Rosemead address at 4251 and got fast service in and out in 10min! We were only renting a hand dolly.David M.

To whom it may concern, My name is Ming Chao. I have recently used your service in order to rent a truck for my moving needs. I rented it on the date of 11/23/2021. The truck worked to my satisfaction and my move was done with the help of your U-haul with no issues. However, I came across an incident with one of your staff members at the Uhaul in Rosemead. 4251 Rosemead Blvd, Rosemead, CA 91770, United States. I'd like to lodge a formal complaint about this. The employee in question is a female with tattoos all over her body. She was extremely rude to both me as well as my brother. I have to question whether this was a race motivated discrimination or not, as she was considerably rude from the onset of the conversation. When trying to return the truck, the employee raised an issue about there being "mud in the truck". The only thing I moved was furniture, so there couldn't have been mud in the truck. There might have been some trace amounts of dirt or dust, however. She exclaimed that we had to sweep out the 'mud' before we could return it. When we asked if we could borrow the broom that was next to the truck, she very rudely said that we could not, and that finding a broom or anything to use to clean the truck would be "your problem, and I don't care". At that point, I wondered if she wanted me to just take the shirt off my back to sweep up the truck. It was completely unreasonable, and a completely misuse of her authority in this situation. I asked that she at the very least undergo corrective action. Eventually I was able to buy some paper towels from the store in order to sweep up the truck bed. I don't know if your employee just derived pleasure from giving us a hard time or not, but needless to say, I will NOT be using your services in that location in the future. I will definitely think twice about using your service again as I would not want to undergo this kind of situation again with one of your employees. Gracias por tu tiempo.MING C.

A couple of things; 1. The gas gauge is almost always wrong. Employees need to be more careful when they report it. 2. Your checkout data system isn't compatible with the browser used by Samsung phones so I can never check it back inBRIAN M.

The truck I reserved was filthy and smelled like manure. There was another truck on the property that was the same size but they said it was reserved. I told them I was there before the other person and they should give it to me. He said no. They couldn't find the key to a 20 ft. Whateverâ€¦ They rented me a 17 ft which was way less than we wanted. I had to have two other trucks help to make up for the smaller truck. I still don't have everything out of storage even with the movers using their own trucks! I also had to pay them each $30 To use their trucks Shot show. It was a tough day snd your company did not make it any easier at all. The clerk Gerry was nice. I checked out my trailer at 8:30 AM and returned at 11:30 AM. Upon returning to the location, my rental could not be found in the system. After approximately 45 minutes of standing around, someone was finally able to locate it. I provided my rental agreement which had all the information on it and I was being asked basic questions about the rental which were clearly indicated on the rental agreement. What should have been at most 10 minutes to return the trailer turned into almost an hour, which cut into my day and put me behind schedule. I think there needs to a better system to avoid this kind of return in the future.JEREMY B.

I am extremely disappointed about my experience with U-Haul today. I arrived to this location after a different location (126 E Las Tunas Dr, San Gabriel CA) failed at proving me with a functioning U-Haul. They first gave me a vehicle that was visibly dirty inside and with 1/8th of gas in the tank. Furthermore, the gas needle dropped by a half after driving the vehicle for less than two blocks. I turned around in time, otherwise the vehicle would have broken down in the middle of the road. The manager was initially unhelpful and questioned my account of the mal functioning vehicle. I made a reservation for this vehicle and my friends and family time depended on getting it on schedule. I will surely try an alternative to U-Haul next time I need a rental cargo.Benjamin I.
