The original pick up location was 3045 Sask Dr. This felllow lied about when he arrived saying it was an hour afo, when I was sitting at the end of the parking lot and saw him drive in, then he stated my trailor was not there , I could rent an open one, when I told him he didnt arrive an hour ago, he became rude and refused to rent the trilor so I went to the park st location THIS WAS HORRIBLE CUCTMER SERVICE The Park St people even confirmed this fellow ios often reported as rude to customersWilliam K.

The only thing I don't like about uhaul, is the fuel policy. Trying to return a vehicle with the same amount of gas as you got it, is impossible, so you alway fill up a little more so you are not penalized. Well after about 6 rents your tanks are full again I'm sure. If I rent it at a quarter full and return it half full, I am not compensated for the extra fuel.Ron B.

When i returned the u haul the guy who was working went looked over the uhaul decided he wanted to park it so got in hit the gas an i guess he though he was in a race cuz he was going so fast then when he backed it up he hit the building he parked it against. not to mention the whole transaction with him he was unbelievably rude to me. my mother in law was standing there watching all of this and could not believe the way this guy was acting or the way he treated the equipment. it was like he had no regard for his job and didn't care about anything.Brett C.

Not sure how old the child was working but he looked like he was 16. Nice kid, but: 1. He hade me get out of my vehicle, and manually move the big ass trailer in the snow that was sitting in front of my trailer I was renting. 2. The employee almost rammed the back of the trailer through my bumper, but thank god I was right there to stop it from hitting and damaging my bumper. 3. Hooked up the trailer and gave it about a 3/4 twist to tighten the ball, and gave up. I asked for some wide mouth pliers, said he had none...I then hand tightened the trailer as best as I could until I got home. Turned it multiple times at home. IT WAS NOT TIGHTENED ON AT ALL! Why is my rental not ready when I get there? Why am I the paying customer pulling trailers around before I can use the one that I am on the clock for. This is poor all around and it would be nice if you could contact me to go over this debacle.Dustin G.

I had reserved a 6 by 12 to be picked up on Saskatchewan drive. When I got there the door was locked and no one answered the phone. There was no explanation given and no apology for this. I had to go to park street and the. Was only given a 5 by 8 trailer. This put a two hour delay into our move and was incredibly frustrating. Uhaul, so far has not been at all sympathetic for their mistake. So as a family we were not impressed with the Sask drive location which basically did absolutely nothing for us.Thomas B.

When I reserved my Uhaul van, I was offered the one free month of storage option, which was ideal to my situation. I picked up the van, and drove an hour and a half to load. I was less than half loaded when I received a call from the manager saying they don't have the one month free storage unit's in that city. This manager was not prepared to budge on any accommodations for the error. This cost me an extra $250 for storage at another business, and because it was a Saturday they close earlier. I ended up having to leave half my belongings behind in order to drive the hour and a half to meet the closing time. When I returned the van to Uhaul, there was trouble accessing my account, and it took well over an hour to get my deposit back. This â€œmishapâ€ and then a four hour drive, left me a VERY dissatisfied customer.Christine K.

Too congested parking area. No parking space. Slow working staff. Difficult and lot of wait time when going online to pick the truck. It kept saying, "waiting for approval", so I just went to the on site customer service. Over all poor service. Truck was good.Muhammad S.
Overall very pleased with the experience. The staff were also all extremely helpful. My one very small complaint is that the office is overly crowded with boxes. It felt claustrophobic especially as there were 3 workers behind the counter and about 5 other customers in the store when I arrived. Will definitely use the service again.Andrew W.

I don't think you need to do anything different, the staff here went above my expectations to help me with getting a truck. My online order was changed by your system and didn't inform me. Thus leaving me stranded. I booked a 10 foot truck for 24 hours for pick up at 630 pm.when i got to my pick up location they said my reservation was for only 12 hours. Thus leaving me standed as the place i needed to get to was closed during these hours. I ended up having to take a 26 foot truck at almost triple the price. I thought that that was a little bit unfair but it was not the staffs problem as they can only do their job as outlined by uhaul. I have been a customer of uhaul over the years and won't let this episode affect me renting from here in the future. I would like to say thank you to the manager as she worked hard to help me out. This location tried to charge me for an additional day of rental charges ($135) because I returned the U-Haul at 12:45 am on the same day I picked up and used the van. The only additional charge I was expecting was $20 for returning after hours, which I was informed of when I picked up the rental that day. At no point was I told that I could be charged an entire extra day of rental fees if I was to return the U-Haul after midnight, despite only having the vehicle for 10 hours. As a customer renting a U-Haul, I think it is very important to know any and all possible charges so I can be prepared to know what I will be paying. I spoke with customer service and the lady was rude, cut me off and spoke over me, and ended the call before I could get another word in or ask any other questions regarding this issue. I would not recommend this location unless you enjoy surprise/inconsistent rental charges, and a huge headache on top of it all.Taryn B.

I ask d to be able to pick up my rental at 08:00. They sent me all the way across the city to pick it up and when I got there I found the place didn't open till 09:30. So I phoned the Park Street place and they had one available, so I drove back there to my side of the city and picked it up. But this caused me to start my day 2 hours later than me had planned. The Park Street folks were very accommodating though. I don't understand why you would send me all the way across town to pick up my rental especially when the store didn't open earl enough to pick up the rental when I required it.Mike Z.

I had to wait an extra 30 minutes because the computer system was down. The manager was excellent under the circumstances and thanked me for my patients. In observing the site, the size of the show room it is far to small and everything is just on top of the next thing. Does not look like a very professionally organized environment. There was only the manager on staff that day and you certainly can not run a business of that type with only one staff member. I have my own business and if that was my business I certainly would be running it a lot better than what I saw there. Maybe due to Covid-19, things are somewhat tighter or maybe I just came at a difficult time. Thank youSteve J.

Me - Hello, I tried to rent a uhaul online for over 24hrs but it won't let me. Uhaul - Let me look into that for you Me - Thank you, initially I chose a drop off location where I was traveling to but the nearest drop off location was 1h30 minutes out of the way. When I switched back to the same drop off location as the pick up it wouldn't let me take for over 24hrs. Uhaul - we have in town trailers and out of town trailers, you have to drop off the out of town trailers out of town. Can I have your credit card number to secure the booking. Me - I cant drive an 1hr and 30 minutes out of the way to drop off the trailer. Can I drop off that trailer back to the same location or can I get an in town trailer for longer then 24 hrs. Uhaul - We are very busy and can only rent a trailer for 24 hrs in town and you can't drop the out of trailer off back at the same location. What is your credit card number to reserve the trailer. Me - Is an in town trailer available to friday Uhaul - checks and says yes Me - actually is a trailer available for Saturday Uhaul - checks and says yes Me - so there is a uhaul available to rent for 24hrs on Friday and on Saturday, why can't I rent it for 48hrs. Or can I just make two booking. I'm travelling out of town and I won't make it back In time. I also can't drive an hr and a half out of the way to drop the trailer off somewhere else. Uhaul - You can rent the out of town trailer for 64.99 and if you need an additional day there is a charge of 20 if you have it for longer. What is your credit card number.... Me - So if I rent the in town trailer and don't bring it back in time is the late charge 20? Uhaul - I don't feel comfortable giving you the intown trailer as you clearly need it for longer then 24hrs. What is your credit card number? Me - I'll just book it online. I don't know what I'm going to do. Uhaul - if you Provide your credit card info I can reserve now Me - hangs up I proceed to rent a uhaul I town online for 24 hrs with a pick up at 745pm latest time with a drop off the next day at 745pm. Gonna suck but might be able to make it back by that time. Wake up the day I'm suppose to pick up the trailer to a voice mail, â€œHello we have changed your booking to 6:45pm and you have to drop off the trailer at 6:45Pm. 100% not going to happen. My guess if that someone reserved the trailer and they ain't getting it now. Day of trip call uhaul contact at 4pm to let uhaul know that I won't be dropping off the trailer at the scheduled time. I was only doing it so the guy I thought needed the trailer. Uhaul representative is very friendly hums and haws and says looks like that trailer is scheduled for pick up but it's not scheduled till tomorrow afternoon. Me - I can drop off at 11:30 tomorrow Uhaul - Thats great there will be an additional charge Me - I'm aware thanks Uhaul - have a great day What a Joke Do betterPaul A.

The vehicle was a little dirty and definitely not up to the standards that I get from any other rental car facility, but it generally wasn't that bad. It had definitely been vacuumed that day, but certainly not since the last person to rent it. I have zero confidence that the inside was wiped down with disinfected wipes. This is something that should be done all the time, especially when there's pandemic. When you Ask me if I would recommend this location to a Friend, I have to answer with a very hesitant yes. The experience of dealing with U-Haul was a 1 out of 10 at best. My experience began last weekend when I tried to rent a truck, But when I went to pick it up, There was no vehicle assigned to me. Despite the fact that I had a reservation. Why do you even take reservations when you can't guarantee a vehicle will be there when you pick it up!!!!! That is unacceptable!!!!!! When I went to get the vehicle this weekend, I opted for the contactless online pick up. But I still had to go into the store and wait in line to get the keys. Why is skip the line up even offered if you can't even honor it!!! The inside of the store was also filthy dirty. There is no plexiglass at the registers and employees are not wearing masks. I am reporting this to the local health authority because, to the best of my knowledge, this is an absolute requirement of any business that deals with the public. I say again, we are in a pandemic and you need to respect this. The only thing U-Haul has going for it, and the only reason I said yes that I would recommend it to a friend, is the fact that there is absolutely no competition. Believe me, I looked into it. There is no other place where I can rent a truck for only a couple hours on a weekend. As soon as there is a another location, I will definitely dump U-Haul and go to the competition. Even if I have to pay double. This experience was awful!!!!!Steve J.

The location in Regina is excellent, and the employees are pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable, my only complaint is with your telephone operators. I called in to change my pick up time from 7 am to 9 am. Your operator assured me it had been changed. I didn't feel confident in the operator's assurance and made a trip to the location for truck pick up in person, only to find I was correct with my concerns and the pick up time had not been changed in the system. Had I not made a second trip to the office, my truck could have been given to someone else on my move day. That was VERY disappointing, and time consuming on my part.Carey U.
