Have all equipment you offer available to the customers who rent them. Have reserved trucks cleaned and ready at the customer reservation time. I had to wait 25 min for the truck to be cleaned and sanitizied.Susan F.
Upon returning our equipment the representative had no clue how to take the car transporter off of the uhaul truck. I had to you tube it and do it myself, He was a nice enough kid just needs trained more.IVETTE W.

no right tail light and top latch was missing a screw so the load wasn't really secured. light was an issue when I picked up the trailer. I asked for a bulb but the person wouldn't look for one plus she didn't know what to do. I replaced it at home but it still didn't work. it has a wiring issue. I was charged more than was initially agreed upon. I disagreed with the amount that I'd be charged and was told I'd be contacted in 48 hours about the charges, I wasn't. Called the main office and was told they contacted the manager of the store I went to and that I'd be contacted, I wasn't. Will definitely use another truck rental service next time and will tell all of my friends to do the same for their moves. 0/10Joseph H.

Same answer here. I tried to call this location several times and could never get a human on the phone. It routed me to the national number and after 45 minutes on hold I gave up. Several calls to the national number and being on hold for over 30 minutes is too crazy. I will not do business with U-Haul if they cannot answer the phone. When I arrived to return the trailer there was an employee in the parking lot. He checked the trailer back in and then ran away without unhooking the trailer.JOHN W.
The truck was fine, the staff very courteous and helpful! However, they had no moving pads, I consider these to be equipment, as well as no appliance dollys, those are equipment as well. When the survey asks how was the equipment ( not how was the truck), these items need to be included!william W.

I had reserved a trailer for the Manchester road location. I got a confirmation and when I got there to pick it up there wasn't on. They called and found one at the Ravenna location. I spent over and hour and a half driving to get a trailer.Michael N.

I've never received a rental van on "E" until now. (I can provide a photo if needed). Don't threaten $4.95 per gallon for "re-fill" fee if you're going to leave them empty anyways. The last thing I need to worry about after picking up a rental van is immediatly going to the gas station. Also, you're telephone system should not even be offered anymore. it's virtually pointless and unaccessable.Scott H.
The trailer didn't have a jack on it. It was too heavy for me to lift off the ball by myself, so I had to pull the pin on my received to drop it off the truck. Of course, this is not a good way to drop a trailer but I had no choice. When I picked up the trailer i helped the employee put the trailer on the ball but I dropped it off after hours.Eric J.

The lady who installed my hitch is nothing short of AMAZING! She juggled all the customers coming in ON HER OWN as well as installed my hitch, as well as kept a GREAT ATTITUDE along with keeping me informed of the progress! What a wonderful experience! It should be easier for anyone to phone the UHaul locations to reserve a truck. The website was not as user-friendly as hoped. I tried to reserve a truck in Streetsboro, but it kept sending me to Stow Kent. I called Streetsboro and she said they didn't have a truck available to be reserved. The woman at Streetsboro easily found me a truck in Ravenna, which is closer to my house than Stow Kent. The website should indicate that although a truck might be unavailable at a particular site, the following sites have trucks to rent. Then the user could select the alternate nearest the house and not have to guess why their request was rerouted to an alternate site.Martha C.

I did not appreciate having to drive from canton where I booked my trailer all the way to Ravenna. I understand that not all locations carry every item to rent at all times but we should have been able to pick up at a closer location to where we made the order or had an employee bring the trailer to our canton locationJoshua M.
I'll tell them to be careful- The Ravenna branch did its best to get me on the road. However the Box Trailer that I reserved and prepaid was not there. I was given an open trailer and ran into rain on the 4 hr trip home. Thanks bunches. The man at the branch was as genuinely helpful as he could be, although I doubt anyone reading this will lose any sleep.Jeffrey S.

I had reserved a 26 ft truck and when I arrived they told me they couldn't give me that truck because they just rented it out to someone else. I also had reserved the truck until the 15th of July and then extended it for until 21st and was overcharged for the extra days. I extended it by 6 extra days, but am being charged for 10 extra days. I have been trying to contact uhaul but still have not heard back regarding this issue except them resending me an itemized bill that shows I was overcharged, yet they havent done anything about it.Emily S.

The latching mechanism on the rolling door did not work properly. Caused us major major aggravation. It required two people to pull the door down in order for it to latch. Also the ramp was virtually impossible to unlock. Very disappointed with this equipment.Stephen G.
I rented a two day 26 ft truck. The truck had holes in the sides of it. Water leaks in dripping down the walls. Water came in through the wheel wells and leaks in the ceiling onto the shelf. When we unlocked the truck full of our belongings waves of water poured down the ramp. Our boxes were soaked and falling apart making unloading very challenging. I immediately called the location who never answers the phone and kicked it over to the 800 number where I sat on hold for an hour. They got us a new truck we had to drive 30 minutes away to get and thirty minutes back. We lost over two hours moving time plus the hassle of trying to move boxes that were falling apart and all our belongings spilling out. I ask customer service for a partial refund or discount and they said it was at the stores discretion. The store did nothing except deduct the extra miles we had to drive to get a second truck. We were told the truck was being retired not repaired yet they'd rented it to us in that condition not four hours earlier. I will use Penske for any future moving needs. The ball was really dropped on this.Amy H.

Answer the phone. My last 2 rentals took 3 days for me to finally get through on the phone. I would call and wait on hold for about 20 minutes each call before I had to hand up. I used truck for less than two hours and had to put 36.00 of fuel/gas in it .I was promised a refund or partial refund for some of the gas because it ran really rough and was clearly in need of service. The guy there when I returned the truck said I would get a gas refund.no refund was credited to my card..so I was lied to obviously.Keith N.
Tech was the only employee at the store. She had to answer phones and help customers while she was installing my hitch. A 2.5 hr job took 6 hrs. Unacceptable for mgmt to leave the poor woman by herself. She was lovely, patient and an excellent employee, despite her circumstances. What a horrible experience. The people at Ravena uhaul were wonderful, the situation that led me there was nonsense. You should not use bait and switch options for equipment rentals. The equipment should be at the store where you reserve it, or not listed as available at that location. I ended traveling an hour each way to rent a piece of equipment. Using the "fine print" to trick people into thinking the equipment is available at a reasonable distance is bad business.Tom S.
My initial truck literally had bed bugs within it. The general managers idea to handle that issue was to leave the truck outside in the sun for a couple days to â€œtreatâ€ it. I'm not sure what your protocol is but I'm almost positive that's just about all those trucks already do & is exactly the type of response that explains why they exist in the first place. I had more assistance from the mechanic who strolled in from the garage due to the general manager being missing from the store BOTH times I had to go into the store searching for any employee. Would highly recommend her. She was just as upset over the big issue if not more than I was. The GM though, he sure seemed more interested to be chilling in his vehicle parked just out the the emergency back door.Stormi S.
