Cliff, the manager at the 801 S Andrews, Pompano Beach, FL 33069, was great! He provided me above average customer service and solved a problem for me efficiently and courteously. He took initiative and expressed care for me as his customer. I'd go to this location just so Cliff could take care of my business with UHaul again as he showed me I could trust him to solve a problem well.

I rented a truck and a ball hitch to pickup a UHAUL ubox at another location. I told the man this and he hooked up the hitch just fine. What he did not check was if the wiring for the UHAUL trailer was in tact. When I got to the next UHAUL location for the ubox, we noticed the electric would not work because the wires were cut. Unfortunately, we did not have the means to drive back, nor did the location have another truck. We were told to go ahead and drive off the lot. I believe this location needs to improve on checking equipment. Especially since its the main truck rental for the area. I was not offered an apology after all the money and services I have with you all. I found it all to be quite annoying and cannot wait to be done with my UHAUL experience. Total disregard for the customer.

Ariel was awesome. I was under a bit of stress and she completely helped me by allowing me to vent. When I went to my car, she stayed with the van and petted my dog to help her adjust to her new setting. She did a great job today.

Tell everyone in Pompano Beach to use this U-Haul. You folks in 'corporate' don't even tell the public which sites have PARKING and are easy to get in and out of. This site has ample parking and is easy to get in and out of.

U-Haul on Andrews Avenue people there are friendly and very helpful, they keep their trucks clean and they also Mark where they are damages before you use the truck . I like that I didn't have a problem at all with this company and I would recommend them to a friend.

Living in Pompano Beach, Florida: I think the 801 S Andrews Avenue U-Haul rental center is the nicest, friendliest and most helpful of all the nearby rental van locations.

The guy that check me in after returning the truck was very rude and confrontational about petty shit, is like he wanted to argue with me. Poor customer service.

Checking in was ridiculous. There were 6 customers in line to pick up vehicles and 1 attendant. There was another attendant in a garage working on a car, who did not seem care about the long line. I waited for 45 min in line to pick a vehicle that I had a reservation for. The return process was just as bad. I was met at the return station and the attendant oils not tell me why my amount due was higher than I expected. I asked if I went over the miles or what, and he stated that it was his first day he did not know. He said if I wanted answers that I would need to go inside. I did that and the attendant behind the counter was counting money and did not even acknowledge me. I asked for my receipt and he pulled some papers off a printer and handed them to me without saying anything. I asked if I went over my miles and asked if the receipt was itemized. He continued to count money and began to use the computer. After a minute or two, I said, well did I go over? And said, I don’t know......I said I thought you were looking up my account, he said oh no. I said can you focus on one thing and answer my question. He stated that was already doing another thing, so I walked out. Horrible experience checking in and checking out.

NEW STAFF, SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. WE ARE DRIVING LONG DISTANCE TERRY TRIED TO GIVE US A 20' TRUCK THAT WAS IN BAD CONDITION. EVEN WHEN MY OWN MECHANIC TOLD THEM THAT THE TRUCKS TRANSMISSION WAS SKIPPING THEY HAD THEIR TRASPORTER DRIVE THE TRUCK WHICH THEN SAID THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG. I WAS NOT ABOUT TO PUT MY HUSBAND'S LIFE IN DANGER BECAUSE THE TRUCKS ARE NOT UP TO PAR. THEN I WAS CHARGED $90+ FOR DRIVING THE TRUCK UP THE STREET AND REALIZING THAT IT WAS NOT GOOD. NEVER AGAIN WILL I RENT FROM THIS LOCATION NOR WOULD I REFER ANYONE TO THIS LOCATION.

The truck had a strong odor of weed and the manager didn’t care over charge for the service and over charged for gas when I already put gas in the truck before returning it also the customer service sucks

Trailer had a broken tie down in the forward passenger side which made it difficult to secure my load. This was missed on inspection by the rep prior to leaving. Location was very busy when I went to pick up and drop off the trailer. Seemed understaffed.

We initially rented the truck for two days but returned it after one day. We took the truck at 9:40 a.m. and returned the following day at 10:30a.m. I can understand that we would need to be charged for returning the vehicle an hour past the pick up time. But I dont think we should have been charged for an entire day. Uhaul needs to revisit their contracts and learn how to prorate the bill by an hourly rate if the equipment is not returned on time. I honestly do think that part of this rental company is a rip off. Which is why my experience is average because this business turns out to be just like any other, more concerned about the money then about the people who bring the money. Also, when I called to vet the final charges and asked the representatuve why we were being charged for 2 days. She stated to me "that's not a rip off", but instead she should have said I apologize for this and I will bring this to my managers attention. Horrible customer service! The worst thing you can do is tell the customer they are wrong.

They changed me for the truck clean , they “ The truck was use to move a 3 new mattress There was no trash ??. I checked in and the reply “ will you be okay with a email ?? check out i seen he was busy I sead that would be fine. There was gas ?? at 3/8 and I did show the slip of me adding gas and I was still charged for 1/4 Thayer is extra charge , and I did accept the full coverage insurance on the truck and still had tuff time with them as a final copy called 2 time for a the same explanation s am typing And was told I will receive a call ??? No call. Yet I would like a refund on the cleaning and the “” extra gas ?? charged
