I was very displeased with the service I received. I went to pick up my U-haul that I reserved at 14255 Bch Blvd only to be told that my truck was not there due to that location only having 3 lock boxes and I have to go to 600 Atlantic Blvd. Upon going to the other location, I was told there was not a truck there for me as I did not have a reservation at that location. When I called back the dispatch number, I was told by the person I spoke to, to tell the employee to give me someone else's truck to use. When I told the employee that, the employee became slightly upset. (which I do not blame them) Not only was my rental hours reduced as I had to share the rental with someone else, but I was not offered any type of compensation for the inconvenience. The employees at 600 Atlantic Blvd., where amazing and helpful, not thanks to the people at dispatch or at 14255 Bch. Blvd.Daria T.

I booked a truck online and the truck i booked was not on site when at my appointment time. After much argument, someone dropped a truck off that met my needs size wise, however, the check engine light was on. We were told to ignore it... what? And possibly brake down with all of my belongings on the side of the road?? Over all terrible experience. The person I dealt with on site obviously had had enough. This wasn't his fault but he was catching more than one complaint during the time I was there. Poor guy.Jessica D.

While the location-much like other businesses- is struggling with finding GOOD employees, my experience was seamless; but I went during non-peak days/hours knowing the shortage of manning. Let's hope this location can find some attentive and somewhat experienced help. No shortage of business so pay your help a living wage - this is a â€œbeaches locationâ€ with a more discerning clientele. Bottom line, I'll be back!DONALD H.

When I returned the truck it took over 30 minutes to get somebody to check me out, then when I told the guy there problems he the brakes he didn't seem to care blew me off. The brake pedal hit close to the floor and the accelerator is so close to the brake pedal that I found the truck trying to brake and accelerate at the same. Not a good feeling with a fully loaded truck and a trailer on the back. Brake issues are serious and my information should have been taken seriously.Charles W.

Remember to advise customer that they need to also text UHaul of time of return so they are not charged extra if after 7:00pm. Was not advised if this and had dropped off at 7:30pm but charged extra on final bill.MICHAEL L.

I rented a tow dolly which are usually good. One of the ratchets on this tow dolly was extremely worn and stuck and near impossible to release the tow strap. The tow strap on the other ratchet was extremely frayed and hard to thread. This location is always good, but that piece of equipment was bad.BRADFORD G.

I can't believe they charged me.. -a fellow U-haul employee from NC - $21 for an after hours drop off even though I dropped the truck off almost 2 days early. We don't charge for that at our center. They only get charged if the fuel is wrong, they went over miles or the truck is dirty. Next time I won't go 40 minuets out of my way to an alternative destination to drop off.JENNIFER M.
Picked up trailer. Went and loaded it with items. The door would not close. The cable was binding off track. Carefully drove back to location to get door fixed. Received no help at all. Was told to call Roadside Assistance and wait for however long it would take. Or, could swap out trailers. Since I had a lengthy drive pending I had to choose swapping trailers. I am 68 years old and was given no help unloading items into parking lot or reloading into new trailer. Horrible customer care. The quick easy solution would have been for the rental person to simply cut the bound cable, close the door and let me be on my way but he would not do that and said if I did it I would have to pay for the repair. I was not offered anything for my inconvenience and trouble.I was told this was all per policy. So my policy will now be to use different rental company.Daniel A.

After going to the Uhaul on San Jose Blvd to have a hitch receiver installed the staff was not interested in me being there and looked up my car and told me that they did not make one for it. I called Neptune Beach location and they not only had it but had it installed in short order with thank you for coming in and let us know if we can help with anything else in the future. I will be recommending this location to friends and family in the future.CHRISTOPHER M.
I had a signed contract to return my trailer to 3129 Southside Blvd. and when I arrived they said they didn't take 6X12 trailers and I had to go elsewhere. They sent me to Neptune Beach which cost me an extra hour of travel time. I was told whoever booked the reservation should have checked first. I booked the reservation online and your system gave me that location. Not real happy with the personnel at Southside Blvd. location. They said they had no room but there was plenty of room and I have turned in a trailer there before. I don't know what the real issue is but it was definitely not a positive experience for me.Thomas G.
