Jason went above and beyond to help me once he realized my jeep wasn’t fully equipped to tow the Uhaul he jumped on finding the parts and getting them installed and me out the door within an hour - my hero!
Melissa KDon’t change my pick up location three times and then have the final location 30 minutes from my house instead of the original 3 minutes. This all happened 10 minutes before my first pick up reservation.
Adan CI would recommend communicating the fuel char to the customer at the time of drop off I was char for 3 gallons of fuel but I only put 10 miles on the truck. That is wrong. The check in person was very helpful

Charles WThere is insufficient parking for customers who want to take a vehicle and return it to the same location. When doing that, they don't always have someone drop them off, but need to park their vehicle at the site. This location is very small and cannot expand in any direction, so parking across the street or down the block is the only option when their 4-5 customer parking places are occupied. I do not intend this to be a criticism of U-Haul Murray because there is nothing they can do about their limited space, and the two staff members with whom I interacted were both excellent in efficiency and customer service! I would definitely recommend this location because of the way they provided service to me. However, when planning for other sites, it would be of great value to customers who are picking up and returning to the same location if there were more available, safe, parking places for their vehicles.

Jackie SI paid for two days with having to move 48 miles one way which was going to be multiple trips. They allotted me 47 miles then told me I had to pay a dollar for each additional mile I went over that 48 miles and I wasn't told this until I dropped it. My 289 dollar rental quickly turned into 500 +. I was left in the dark on the additional charges. Never again will I use uhaul.

David EVery unfriendly, the employee who walked with us to look at the truck was very rude & treated us like we were children for not folding the pads we rented. We were exhausted & happy to pay the $25 fee to have him do it but he was so rude & condescending that we did it just to get him out of our lives.

Overhearing other interactions btw customers and staff show it is the culture of the store. Appreciated positive attitudes messages on wall and when I asked to take a photo to share, installer said “of course, I took one the first day I saw it”. You folks are doing an outstanding job that is an example for all! Thank you.

DON KThe employees seemed irritated to be helping customers and also inexperienced using the system. The only employee who was even remotely helpful was the attendant to help led us drop off our truck but eve then we had to wait sometime which caused us to get charged an additional hour.

Jeffrey HYour afterhours returbn process online is too complicated. For example and noting that i made the mistake of locking the van and putting the keys to the truck in the the dropbox and trying to check in by taking a picture of the mileage indicator caused a problem. When i called into to get some help the phone attendant was less than helpful. Maybe she was having a bad day but she was short and down right rude. However the people at the Murray location were very helpful and professional.
James H24/7 Did not work easily had to call the main u-haul number a check out that should have taken minutes took hours. Owner said to call with any questions at any time however did not answer. So we were left to fend for ourselves. The hours are not accommodating to the customer.

Matthew HWeather was wet & starting to snow, so the attendant during tralier drop off kindly allowed me to remain in my vehicle while she unhooked the trailer & completed the return. All was wonderful except she failed to put the rubber protective cap back over my vehicle's 4-flat wiring & therefore unnecessary exposed the connection to all the nasty road conditions during my drive home.

Wanda hI was charged almost 2Xs the price I was given when I checked it out. They charged me $15. to clean out a small trailer that would have taken 2 mins to sweep out and that when I got it had dirt and an old plastic spoon in it when I opened it for the first time. I'm sure they charged the person who left that spoon the $15 also. Getting it checked out took forever also. There were only three customers and it still took almost 20 minutes to get helped. Getting the lights to work took another 10 or 15. I have been to 3 Uhauls in the last year and each time it takes forever none of the employees knows what is going on.

Cristhian MThe van seemed to lurch a lot. As you pushed on the accelerator, it would get to the point that it would just kind of take off, even if already going freeway speeds, so I had to watch that it wouldn't lurch forward as I drove along. The staff was great and I was treated well. The vehicle was fairly clean inside the cargo area, and the seating area was very clean.

Michael SI have to give a shout out to Cindy Hakala at this location- She was such a breath of fresh air. Friendly, kind, helpful. She was very busy but kept a smile on her face the entire time. She was very pleasant and helped us make sure we were getting the best deal we could. She went the extra mile and made phone calls to help us with the drop off location of our rental. If I had a business I would hire her in a heart beat! Thanks Cindy for making this experience a good one!

Isaac PI rented a tow dolly for my car, and it was damaged while I was moving from Utah to Texas. I would not rent from this place because they don't inform you of the insurance options you have. My car was damaged by the tow dolly and I had no idea I could have purchased more insurance with the third-party insurance company. I had 5k of coverage for insurance, and it's not enough to cover my car damage. Also, the repwest insurance company doesn't cover car rental services, so that means I have to pay for a car rental for a whole month to get my car fixed. Customer service is very poor, and the GM is not very kind or respectful. I spent 2500 dollars at Uhaul and they won't look out for you to help you have better options concerning insurance and won't inform you verbally how to help you have the best experience. The regional manager was very kind when I spoke to him. Beware of Uhaul because they only care about the money they make and not the customer. They look out for their best interest only.

Toni LIf you’re going to put rental equipment inside the truck that is tagged for tracking, have the app check inside the truck upon inspection to sign off that tracking tags haven’t been cut.
