this location i try to avoid. never enough people to assist customers. always long wait times. unclear directions for returns. sign says to wait to be helped next to vehicle. after 20mins of no help , i finally tried to return by phone app and was successful. why not have a sign for that- if possible, check out by phone app? avoid this location if possibleBARRY K.

Van and windshield was extremely dirty. I would also recommend a clear sign that states online check-in only as I had to ask everyone in line if they had done the online check-in and 2 other had and waited in the line for 20 minutes. I was able to move to the front thanks to the other women being told she didn't not have to wait so she told me. No signage to indicate online check-in here.Rebecca M.
The vehicle was clean but mechanically it was terrible. The truck would shake vigorously at around 50mph. It was a terrible experience. I could not go back to the location since I was already running late.Armaghan O.
The hand cart was broken. The attendant was rude and sarcastic. His supposedly â€œjokesâ€ were wasting a lot of time with customers. I was having trouble on there app. checking in the truck. I asked for help and didn't get the help I needed. So the employee told me they would charge me $20 if they do it for administrative fees. Add staff on weekends as lines got Long. I did the rental and return on a weekend during office hours using the mobile app to avoid the line. However during the return, it was not clear about where to return the key. There was 1 staff member at rental return who was busy and the mobile app had not clear instructions on return of the key. The front desk person was not friendly or helpful. He told us to use the mobile phone app to check in our truck. We told him we didn't have a smart phone. He told us to find Frank the person outside who was checking in the trucks. We couldn't find Frank. We were there for 45 minutes trying to get help checking in the truck. Finally we found Frank and he told us to leave the keys in the truck and he'd check it in when he got a chance. We did later receive a receipt and it was properly checked in. The front desk person was just so unfriendly and unhelpful repeatedly to us. Please guide him on how to be helpful and please establish a streamlined option for how people without smart phones can return their moving trucks with ease.Beth D.

It was very unclear where to return the truck. An employee shouted at us to "Go to the U-haul website to do the drop off online. Follow the sign instructions!" and then pointed at a sign that was not very clearly posted, on how to do the return. I think that U-Haul should just hire a real human being to do the return checks and not make the customer check the mileage, gasoline levels, etc. This was on a Sunday afternoon around 3 pm at a location that was open 7 days per week.LISA M.

Computers were down for over an hour and rentals / returns could not be processed. The employee on the shift was very clear that when the closing time came he was not interested in accommodating the rentals past that time. He was making no real effort to keep trying and was almost happy about it. Fortunately another employee helping out (maybe not even on the clock?) offered to keep trying and after multiple tries was eventually able to get my rental completed just minutes before closing. This was one of my worst customer experience ever by the representative who was at the counfer. It felt like I was target of systemic racism just because I was a non-white customer. Below are the details of specific events 1) when I and my wife were waiting in the line, the representative was saying hi and welcoming everyone ahead of us whose turn was about to happen which was nice. When we was just second in line, the representative just ignored us and welcomed the lady right behind us. Mind you all the other people were white people. 2) when I reached the counter, he didn't say Hi or anything. He started off by saying what's the name on the reservation. I told him my name. He searched and then very rudely said, you have BOOKED a one wah reservation. I was confused and told him no, I have booked same pick up and drop off.he was like NO, I can see a one way in my system. I searched my phone and brought up the reservation and tried to show him. At that point he was just abrasive and acted annoyed. Then he told me my reservation was at 5 30 and it is 6 15 that was the issue. First of all, I had been waiting in the line for past 40 mins, so I arrived at the location maybe only 5 to 10 mins after my time. 2ND of all how does that make my reservation one way. However, he acted like he was doing me a favor by fixing it. 3) at the time of credit card payment, I wanted to clarify that I Don't get charged twice as I had already provided a credit card information online. I asked him,to which he very rudely replied. All this time at each question his demeanor was very abrasive and aggressive and I had not said anything to him. 4) he gave us the keys and told us go outside go to the left and find a dolly and then go to right and find your truck. Here is the weird part, for each of the person below us, he was walking outside with him showing them the truck and helping them pick whatever extra stuff they had chosen. Even the last after us, while we were outside, he came with her and helped her with the dolly. 5) I went outside and noticed some dents on the truck. I wasn't sure how to document that and the person had not explained to me that I will get a phone text or anything. I came back to ask him as he was helping the lady after us with the dolly. I asked him how can I document the dents. He very rudely said, whose phone is on the file, I said both as I had given my wife as back up. I started checking and he made Rude gestures and faces as if I am wasting his time. Then as I finally found the text, he said very aggressively "open it" open it. And then was giving instructions as if he was extremely agitated. I asked him,why are arw acting rude? My wife also asked the same question. He didn't have an answer and said oh some time you are answering and some time she is answering and it is confusing as anything. THIS IS A LIE. I had been talking to him and even if my wife was answering questions with me, that's no reason to be rude. Btw thw pictures on the truck were not up to date All this attitude can only be explained because I was a brown muslim and not a white customer as I had said nothing else to the guy. I had actually pre checked before I came in to make the process easier. I would expect Uhaul to take serious action on this. I want to heard what has been done about this.Muhammad H.

The return was a bit wonky. The clerk told me to put the trailer where I had checked it out. Neither he nor anyone else offered to help me unhitch and move the trailer to a parking spot. No one gave me a receipt for returning the trailer, but I did receive acknowledgement via e-mail.Jeffrey W.

I attempted to schedule a pickup for the day I was supposed to move out (see support ticket, don't remember the name of the location sorry :)) but was surprised to find that there was no van. I contacted one of your corporate offices to sort this out and after about 40 minutes we were able to find a location with vans available. Since I now had only 2 hours to move out the person I talked to was happy to give me a hand truck free of charge (this ended up being invaluable; I cleared the apartment with only 5 minutes to the deadline and couldn't have done it without that thing.) the second location was perfect (this one) and no complaints from me. Although the service was stellar the lack of heads up & the amount of time it took to find a new van disappointing. I feel that document control and rental location accountability may be a recurring theme here. Support she provided was stellar but in the end the service she can provide is only as good as the tools you give her.TYLER S.
