The man who helped us with the dreads was awesome! There was a long line and he was the only one inside and he was pressured by everyone and he still kept his composure and handled every customer with world class customer service while making each transaction personable still. He also had questions left and right from other customers and was still able to answer while helping at the front without interruption of what he was doing. :)Tina A.

Tow dolly blew the light fuse in my truck. Replaced the fuse and it blew again. Replaced the fuse at home and connected my trailer without issue. Tried to return the tow dolly to the location and I was told they were closed at 6:45PM pst. Attended insisted it was 7:00 because he was told that by a co-worker who just left. Could not get a return receipt and the attendant was on the rude side and seem upset I had arrived..James F.

One of the friendliest, easiest and best rentals I have had!! This location has an amazing team and process in place. I tried the online process, which failed, but they picked it up and made it so easy!! This will be my go to place now when moving or need a rental.Rodney D.

This is a very busy location in San Jose, CA, with overflowing inventory of trucks near a very busy intersection. Employees struggled with parking in-coming trucks, while customers were trying to drive their rented trucks off the parking lot into a busy street during morning rush hour traffic. Not sure what the solution is, but it would be helpful to give customers the right-of-way to drive their rented trucks off the lot FIRST - instead of forcing customers to wait for the employees who give themselves first priority. That would be both customer focused and smarter because the number of trucks on the lot would be reduced more quickly, giving employees more spaces to park returns quickly. Brandon Denny was great. I've never had such great customer service, and I've rented from Uhaul 20+ times over the past 25 years, mostly from the Oakland Rd office. I booked a cargo van on June 18th. representative said that I had 1/4 tank lift. I took at the face value, when I left the store with the van I realized that the tank was actually at 1/8th. Also, I returned the vehicles in 2-3 hours driving for around 15 miles with 1/4th tank (I paid like 15 $ in gas just because I trusted the representative for 16 miles) to the same representative who helped me. Two days later I received the receipt with charges for 3 days and 5 gallon fuel charge. This is the worst experience I ever had renting something. This charge was so absurd. Even if you consider that I did not re-fuel(I definitely did like 15$), the charges were like 5 Gallon fuel usage for a 16 mile drive. I do not know how is that even possible. I would definitely avoid Uhaul where possible if I am getting scammed like this.KRISHNA V.

1. Fix the contact us information. No one ever pick up the phone. 2. While returning the van I was told that the receipt will be emailed to me. The email never came. I visited the store again in the evening, the guy at the desk told me it's returned don't worry. When I asked for the receipt he gave me van booking receipt, I asked again for return receipt and he just said it's returned and shut the door. Again I had to visit the store next morning just to make sure that the van is marked as returned in U-Haul system. Will think twice before renting U-Haul specially from this location.SAMBHAV J.
