Tell people before they leave that the link to the “known damage” site doesn’t work after they leave the lot. I couldn’t do a proper walk around the truck before leaving due to where is was parked. Upon arriving at my house I tried to open the link with no luck. I called customer service and wasted 30 mins being on hold and talking to four different people to find out by the LAST person that the link doesn’t work after you leave the lot! WHY?? It’s known damage!! Doesn’t make sense!

The 1-800 line gave me the name of a uhaul place that was out of business! Everything else- very nice- the dealer in Utah gave us hints about the route to travel. Very nice- no fears about traveling with a uhaul!!!

After my off hours pickup via the app told me it wouldn't work (when I arrived to pickup) and I had to wait 2 hours until the store opened to get my vehicle. Keep in my I had Ubered across town and couldn't just go run errands for two hours so I had to just sit. Then the van I booked wasn't Available and the trucks were too tall for our parking garage ... They sent me over to u-haul of mid city to get one of the 20 vans they keep in stock. 3 hours later I finally have vehicle and all seems well. Well due to our delay we missed one of the 5 trips we had to make in the van, this causes us to be behind on the van use 3 days later at the return of the rental. I got a normal call letting me know my rental was due back at 10am (3 days later) and I said I understood knew I would be charged an extra day and all seemed well. He asked when it would be in, and I said well I should be done with it that day and would probably be in around 5. Fast forward to 8/9 or so that evening and I received one of the worst customer service calls that I can remember. Basically accusing us of suspicious delays in returning the van..( I was half a day late on a now 4 day rental) and I just spoken with this man earlier that day.. On top of the fact that I have used this email to rent 10 times and you have our business CC on file. Not to mention a photo of driver's license. Fully rude call basically accusing me of van theft and not keeping promises. Really think you need to give this location some training, won't be using again. The lot was full of vans yesterday and today when I dropped it off so I don't understand the issue as I wasn't even screwing up other rentals by being late. Calling your returning business customers when they are a few hours late on returning a van and accusing them of theft is insanity.

I dropped off the trailer after hours so I didn’t meet the staff but it looked clean and orderly. And they saw our returned trailer and took care of the paperwork and emailed me the final receipt.

Bob Canham, the Manager, was friendly and courteous. The three books in the waiting area are the most interesting I have ever seen in any office or facility, bar none! My hitch was installed in less than 1/2 an hour.

Charged me for fuel. When I left the location, it was agreed the fuel was where is should be. I was charged for a ball rental and hitch (that has ALWAYS been included in previous rentals), Location said it was 1' 7/8.. it was a 2" Ball. Contract was put on hold when I left and location was not able to close it. (as they added extra charges after I left the location)

Waited about a half hour to get my trailer, even though I had early checked in with photo ID and everything. Early check in was a waste of time. Service was thorough and helpful when I was being served. It was a Friday evening so likely busy day of the week, but checking for a trailer (not even a vehicle) should be easier.

We were charged an unknown $15 cleaning fee for apparently the exterior of the a 6x12 trailer. This was not explained to us and I don't understand why we were charged this fee. The trailer was as clean as it was when we picked it up. I would appreciate a refund of that money.

The 5x8 box trailer I rented was not fun we got to our location put the sliding door up and it got stuck we could't get it back down no matter what we did, it was a Nightmare to say the least!!!

I have rented from this location three times in the last two weeks. They have been ready for me every time. I did not have any issues with the equipment. It all worked great. Cameron has helped me on two of the occasions and he has been extremely friendly and helpful. Paul ( I believe was his name) also helped with the check in and did a great job. Thanks!

The guy who helped me was awesome! Very helpful and made my whole experience great. He hooked up my car dolly and made sure all was working well. Took a load off my mind. Then on the return, they were closing, but he helped me anyway. He unhooked it and put it away with no effort needed on my part.

Sales rep I had, Benjamin hales, was friendly and nice, helped me add extra miles incase i went over- i didn't come close. upon getting the truck- different story, the truck was dirty and had black dog hair everywhere in the cab, plus it smelled. I arived early because my flight got in early, had a 10 am pick up instead of noon, instead on my noon drop off time at the drop off location it changed to 10am. i had a 6 hour drive and I wasn't able to be back by 10am, was back by 12 noon like my scheduled time. (the sales rep had a hard time changing my scheduled drop off) made my experience frustrating so I took matters into my own hand because he couldn't figure out the new uhaul software. As far as the app and drivers license process, went easy until I pulled up damage information and there was NONE, and the truck was damaged. mad it difficult, get it figured out Uhaul.

The headlights are misaligned. They point down so that they hit the pavement just 20 or so feet in front of the van. Part of our move was during the night and it was almost impossible and highly dangerous to drive in any unlit areas.

Nothing to improve. Doug got us out of a pickle he was very professional and courteous. We expect to pickup the 2 26' trucks and car carrier in Bountiful, UT and we were notified the day before the pickup that we had to pickup the trucks at 21st South, in Salt Lake City and the car carrier in Layton, UT. This put us in a big bind, but Doug came to the rescue. Please ensure that he is aware of our comments above. Doug was great!!! Thanks the Meza's and Davino Family.

This was the smoothest experience I have EVER had at a Uhaul location. I reserved a trailer the day before hand and the associate immediately got our reservation provided us with the necessary adaptor and hooked everything up. We were in and out of the location with the trailer attached in 15 minutes.

Please do not take "average" as an insult … average to me means just that, it was what I expected, there were NO problems, the people were friendly and helpful and very nice to deal with … this is what I would expect so average to me means. Like Olympic gymnast scores, it's dumb everyone gets 9.7 and 9.6 for being "average", that is "just like all the other great athletes, what you'd expect", the "average" should be a 5, and not just 9 to 10.

The van I rented has no pick up or smooth. Experience was not as satisfactory as it was with previous trucks I drove. I also felt like I spent more this time.

I am not a fan of how the trucks are not full on gas when you pick them up. First, it’s inconvenient when I have to stop to get fuel on the way home. Second, they say to Bring it back with the same amount of fuel. I brought it back with more fuel then when I left and I didn’t get refunded for the fuel. Other than that, it was great.

Over charged me when you advertise .79 /mile And charged me .99/mile And note fuel gauge is one reading and actual is less and charged me extra miles than what is stated on odometer. In other words your maintenance system isn't the best

This was a one day rental. The vehicle was clean, ready for pick-up at the reserved time and full of fuel. Both the pick-up and return were handled efficiently and the final price was exactly what was quoted. They were very helpful and easy to work with.

There was some kind of a shield welded onto the ball of the hitch. It appeared to be positioned to protect the knob which tightens down the hitch over the ball. The shield was positioned so that it prevented attaching a hitch lock. I was unable to lock the hitch so it was subject to being stolen. It would have been very easy for someone to back up to the trailer, hook up and drive away. So I found the closest UHaul dealer to let me park it in his lot while I was at my convention.

Dropped off autotransport a day early and they didn’t mind. Only bizarre thing is that I was charged for 40+ extra miles...? All I did was drive from Florence, AZ to SLC- really, no “joy-riding”, other than that, excellent experience with most helpful and pleasant employees.

The guys were super efficient and professional at pick up and drop off. Only complaint was one of the moving blankets I rented was caked with dirt which I didn't notice until I put it on one of my antique furniture pieces. The guys gave me the blankets for free though so juat be sure that is part if the crew training that the blankets are maintained.

Was not happy about them charging me a deposit of 150.00 based on the the daily rate plus over one hundred miles after I told the manager I was only going 20 miles. My estimated charges deposit should have only been around 45.00. Running a business myself I know it’s not right to punish good customers by overcharging all because once in a while you have a bad customer that underestimated the charges.

There really doesn't seem to be parking for people leaving cars and picking up equipment just for the day. Also, it's difficult to tell who the employees are and if anyone is around when first walking in to the store. Uniforms would be nice or a simple "we'll be right with you" would go a long way.
