There is no parking option available. The adjacent lot is empty but there is a feud and the owner is chasing uhaul renters away. I have for years chose this location over others, even if closer to me. Excellent, excellent. This time Ken went way out of his way for me. He wanted to make sure that I wouldn't be inconvenienced or miss my movers' appointment if the truck arrived late from out of town. He offered me an additional day to make it work. I couldn't take him up on it due to issues on my end (and the truck ended up arriving on time anyway) but I very much appreciated it.Robert K.

truck was good condition. However, the level at which employees respond to customers was not so. I went to Uhal early in the morning and picked up a truck, and a young man named Gerry responded to me. The way he spoke to me was very rude and coercive. He looked angry. I met him for the first time, but I didn't understand him speaking to me in a commanding tone. I wondered if it was because I was bad at English or because I am an Asian? When I asked his name, he answered why he asked and told me his name. Since then, his attitude has changed somewhat, but my mood has not changed at all. He didn't even explain about policy I had previously heard when I was using the uhaul. how to return the truck, how much I fill the gas,,,etc. I did not heard any expainatuom frim him. I do not know it is nomal, but I had a few questions in my mind. I could not ask him, because of bad filling, bad situation. I just wanted to escape the uncomfortable situation. and I got out the uhaul like running out. It was a very bad experience woth uhaul i the morning. I rwcommand you to more care about employee educatuon, especially on responding customer.Dong Jin L.

My appointment was changed to this location. After confirming my appointment, a person from the store called me back to inform me, returning the truck back, would be cheeper than my original one way trip. From the intial quote I received, to what I was billed, was nearly $100 more. They claimed it would be $60 to $80 cheaper to drive it back, a minor inconvience but still a lie. They also changed the return time from my original order without my knowlledge. The check engine light on the truck was also on the whole time.GERRIT B.

Equipment and service were great, but corporate is doing zero favors for this location with the lack of parking available. I had to walk 5 blocks to the nearest valid parking in driving rain (and then hail on the way back), which is also up a steep hill. I do appreciate that the staff who helped me warned me about the parking situation and helped me avoid getting towed. Once again, service was great. To be honest, the employees in the store were the only reason I didn't just cancel my reservation on the spot after finding out about the bad parking. All that said, I'll still probably come back to Uhaul after this, but I will be telling all my friends to avoid the Kirkland location at all costs due to the lack of nearby parking. Management/corporate needs to work out a deal with the mall behind the location to allow Uhaul customer parking in the lot.CONNOR SARGENT K.
This uhaul company does not honor its offers. Would not take back boxes we bought from them with their name all over them without a receipt. They are horrid and rude on the phone. Their switch board people are even worse.Anthony B.

Location has no customer parking on property and you must find a parking spot on the side streets several blocks away and walk through snow and slush covered side walks to and from the business or run the risk of parking in a nearby business and being towed. Extremely poor customer service.Alan L.

Booked a Uhaul online for 29th of December at 8AM . When I went to pick up the truck at 8AM that day, the person at the counter started saying " I have to ask my boss if I can rent the truck. I don't understand why people are renting trucks in this weather". It had snowed in the area, and poeple like me were renting trucks because their lease has expired and had no choice but to move out by end of month. I mentioned to the person that did he realize that he was being difficult? At which he basically said he did not care. I mentioned to his boss and he did not seem to care either. But things did not stop here. I was told that my renting time was moved to 9PM and that I was sent SMS and email. I had received none. I left and came back at 9AM and collected the truck.I returned the truck around 2:30, with total driving distance of just 4 miles based on the odometer . Later day when I received a bill I noticed there was an extra charge of 2 Gallons of gas. I called the store and mentioned that. The owner Ken picked up the phone, looked at my order and then said he will call me back. He never did.Manish S.

The rental agent was wonderful. They gave us a decent deal if we drove it back, moved from Seattle to Spokane. The truck was not maintained well. The windshield wiper tank in the truck had a hole in it and as you put fluid in it would run right out. Very dangerous as it was snowing in the pass. Uhaul let us leave the car in Coeur d Alene and did not have drive it back to Seattle in the great deal they gave us. It would be $1000 to do the one way drive. They did not charge us extra. I wasn't told until I arrived at the store location that I could not leave my car there. If I had been told that earlier, I would've had someone drop me off. Instead I had to walk in the rain to the nearby Costco parking lot and leave my car there. Then I spent the whole day praying it wouldn't be towed. When I returned from dropping off my car at Costco, I had to walk a few blocks in pouring rain. I had no rain gear, so I spent the first part of day soaking wet and miserable. It was a very uncomfortable experience and I'm disappointed in the store's service. The only saving grace was the salesman who helped me and apologized profusely for the fact that the store doesn't let people know the parking situation ahead of time. Also, your $19 rental cost is misleading. My total cost was over $100.DEBRA C.

The truck had trash in the cab from the previous user, engine light was on, headlight control cluster was punched in, and the transmission sometimes had difficulty up-shifting into 2nd gear without a hard jolt. Worst of all, UHaul policy states that since I was a couple hours late I had to pay for an extra day but couldn't keep it for an extra day.DANIEL B.

It was the worst Uhaul experience I had in my life. The main problem was the employee that helped me. He literally genuinely didn't want to be there. His attitude was unbelievable, extremely rude, and just not inappropriate. He ignored me, he didn't even read me about fueling gas. Like I said, he basically hated people coming in. Let him go or this Uhaul location will go down to 1 star from it's current 3 star rating. If you are the manager who is reading this, you need to contact me.Jae I.

I have worked with Ken and team at UHaul on 85th in Kirkland many times and everything is always impeccable. I was nervous for a long drive but the truck was in excellent shape, ran well, and they gave it to me with a full tank. decreased stress.Ann P.

The office smelled like cigarette smoke and there was a long and slow-moving line. We had booked a pick-up at a different location and we were moved 3 times to alternative pick-up locations. This one was >40 minutes from our house and added significant stress to our move.Patrick N.
I was asked to leave as the invoice would be delivered via email. The next day I got an invoice for multiple days, when I rented the unit for only one cat as clearly stated in the same invoice. Multiple emails to management and the issue is not solved. I will report to the Better Business Bureau and never do biz with this location again.Luis S.

When picking up the truck, the attendant at that time barely answered my questions. On returning the truck, I asked the attendant if he wanted to check the gas and the condition of the truck, he said no and kept doing what he was doing but took the keys. Then when I received the e-mail, he had charged me for gas though I filled it with $10 from Costco and I asked him if he wanted to check it. I wanted to confirm with him everything to avoid any surprises but would not give me the time.Suzanne F.
It was very very inconvenient to have to park my personal vehicle a few blocks away at a near by COSTCO. The clerk said that the parking lot nehind the UHaul location was a tow away zone so I would need to park my car farther away, while there were empty spaces right in the stores parking lot.
