I reserved a 20' truck and when I arrived they didn't have one in stock so I had to settle for a 17' one instead. Needless to say it made my move even more stressful. The moving truck is an accident waiting to happen and probably should be decommissioned especially with an exhaust leak that comes up in the cab, and no way it meets standards. The truck is filthy and down right disgusting. The back was covered in cement on the floor, and rocks were left in it falling out of the wooden rails on the walls causing some of my furniture to be scratched. And the older gentleman working when I returned the truck was the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. I will never rent again from this store and strongly encourage anyone not to as well. Uhaul please provide better training to the staff at this location and or complete inspections of all older vehicles for severe safety concerns that will cause an accident in the near future.BRANDON S.

Returned after 11 miles and added a gallon of gas yet I was charged for 3 gallons. $15 extra unexpected charge unacceptable.Chris S.
I had an appointment to pick up my truck at a location in Cuyahoga falls. I was there at 9 to pick the truck up, but no employees showed up for work that day so i waited for over an hour for someone to show up, only to be told my reservation was moved to a location in Talmadge. I go to the Talmadge location, and they did not have a truck for me, and I needed to go to a location in Kent to get the truck. I told the employee that I did not have transportation to that location and that I would need to get an Uber. He told me that he could not do anything about that and that if I wanted the truck I would need to find my way there. The Kent location did have a truck, but it was not ready with equipment and I needed to wait over 30 minutes for it to get ready, The movers that I had ready at 10 to help me pack my house had left, seeing as it had taken me over 3 hours to get a truck. I was told that I would get a 50 dollar credit for the inconvenience, despite the Uber to Kent having cost even more than that and the movers I had paid were substantially more than that. Insane that no sort of compensation was offered for this mess. The employees at the locations acknowledged what happened but said I pretty much had to just deal with it and move on.John T.
I am a little upset. We dropped the trailer off Saturday night October 22nd around 10:30 at night. I was still charged as if we kept the trailer until Monday October 24th. I know the charge per day is not that much for the trailer type we rented. But, if I had returned the trailer a day late, I'm certain I would have been charged for it. I would have thought we would not be charged for time we did not have possession of the trailer. This won't stop me from renting from U-Haul again, it is just disappointing.Paul K.

Reserved trail for a day and after I picked up I was informed a full day was not 24 hrs that in fact 8hrs is a day.I was double charged for what I was led to believe I had the trailer for 24hrs plus the door on back was in bad shape and was very difficult to open and close and in the process of closing it I cut my thumb.Will not rent againScott G.

Let people know that if they are just dropping off the keys, you don't need to stand in line. Perhaps have a box to drop the keys with a note that you needn't wait unless there was a problem to report.James A.
The person working was very nice. I do sympathize with him. It was clear they need additional training. They should not work alone until they are better trained. He did not know how to properly check in other people's equipment, add, and/or remove equipment. I understand being under staffed but this was not because of that. It was his lack of knowledge. I drive approximately 30 miles round trip for a pick up. Uhaul could have transported the truck to a closer location especially since the reservation was made a month + in advance.Joseph M.

There appeared to be a hole in the muffler and the brakes were down to the rotors! The van was not safe to drive. We got very bad storms and it was frightening to think about trying to stop in an emergency. The gentleman who checked us in at the location was very pleasant and friendly.Angela S.

My only issue is with the extra charge that I received for a late return. My sheet indicated my renal rate was a weekly amount. I used the vehicle less than a week, although it was later than the reservation for 5 days. I got back later than expected and dropped the key in the box. Did not successfully use the app because by the time it requested pictures of the cab and bay I had already turned in the key. But I was charged for an extra day. It may be your policy but it's pretty odd. Otherwise it was a very good experience. The people at the facility were very helpful and efficient.Mark B.
I wish that my trailer had been available at the Streetsboro location as originally promised. But the Kent location was finne other than having to drive an extra 10 miles to pick up and drop off my trailer.Joseph D.

I actually can rent only a 10' truck, but consider the ramp is helpful, so I chose 15' truck. However, the ramp of 15' truck is too heavy to be hard to raise it up. Maybe a new design of this part can be made. But the service from people in this uhaul @kent - stow store are very nice! I appreciate their help on my updated moving schedule!Xinyi H.

Had an issue with the right side tail lights not working. Brake, turn, hazard- nothing worked. When you turn the right blinker the left side flashed. Might have been my harness too. I think they worked on the way down.RODNEY W.
