I do not know if my comment would fit well in this review , but there is a very big difference in between Bothell 's U haul and Kirkland 's U haul ( 85th Ave ) the last mentioned has two people ( a gentleman and a lady ) who treat customers as if they were garbage. I felt very humiliated there on the 5th of September 2021, so I remembered the one located in Bothell that always has a humanized service.GEYSA A I.

I was given mediocre customer service at the desk, and no information about returning the vehicle after hours which ended up being forty minutes of a glitching website and unanswered support chat messages. I eventually encountered another customer returning a truck after hours and they said when they picked their truck up, the agent had given them a description of the after hours return process and several tips for it to go smoothly. I only ended up getting through the online drop off from their advice.LIZA T.
The first time I picked equipment from here about a year ago they had parking on-site and the staff were super friendly and kind. Today they didn't have on-site parking had to go to the nearest park and ride (13min walk) then the guy who i found there was super dismissive and came out as bossy/commanding, he clearly had very poor customer service skills. Ran into an issue with an overdue bill on my name (not sure why I didn't hear about it before), so got denied the rental and was told to call a number. Would have need great to get that news during the reservation and buying all the boxes and stuff so I could have taken care of it before getting to the shop. Shop staff was patient while I sorted it out and even had the lady I was talking with on the phone call the shop to run my card there since it didn't go through over the phone. They also found me an outlet I could charge my phone a bit on, then got me out the door once all was taken care of. Also had an easy time dropping off with the self checkout. Will want to follow up on the details of that overdue bill to see exactly what/when the charges were, but just wanted to get moving since I have to move on my own.ALEXANDER MACDON C.

The usual from KENMORE u-Haul. Rude. Not the check in guy. The check out guy. Kenmore u-Haul is the probably profitable but soon as anyone else move to the area people will no longer use U-Haul. I go to other places whenever possible. A 20 minute class on customer service would really help. When you pick something up the guy is always hyper aggressive about the insurance. Someone needs to go through the rental trucks and do safety checks and maintenance before they are rented out. The one they rented to me was not in good repair. It was as if it had been wrecked and they repaired it just enough to be put back in service to be rented. You had to fight with steering wheel to keep it on the road. And with COVID 19 going around . I don't think it was sanitized between rentals.I told intake person about truck issues and he just kinda gave me the look of who cares. And your on line app is not user friendly. I will not ever use UHaul again. A really bad experience.JULIE K.
The mileage calculator/odometer on your cargo vans are incredibly inaccurate. I borrowed this cargo van to go SIX miles round trip from where I picked up the van, and I was charged for nearly 29 miles. That definitely doesn't add up.Lee A.
Customer service was an angry guy who yelled at a customer returning the vehicle in the wrong place and then cursing him out to himself in front of me. The trailer had a dent that was not indicated on the checkout but I'd did appreciate being able to upload my own photo. But I was thinking shouldn't that have been documented when it was returnedERIC B.
One of the employees or perhaps the owner was rude and insulting. I felt like I had to go along with what he said if I wanted to get out of there. He eventually helped us but did insult my boyfriend's truck. He told me to look at the pictures to approve or disapprove the pictures of the trailer. There was major damage on the fender that did not show up in the pictures. The pictures were also mislabeled drivers and passengers sides. We pointed that out and he seemed hurt because he said he put those pictures up. He told us to just approve the pictures even though there was a lot of damage. We were too nervous to do so. We disapproved the pics and took some of our own because we didn't want to get blamed for the damage. Things went fine bringing it back in.DARA P.

If you want to improve the experience for the next customer, start by not overcharging them. Next, I would suggest that if you send out an email stating that all questions and inquiries should be sent "here". Then you should be prepared to answer any emails that come in. You already wasted my money, why waste my time too?Jesse W.

It would help on the website to note that the 10 foot truck does not come with a ramp. Also the larger truck I rented did not have a "sissy" step, but I was able to borrow their cleaning ladder to get into it. I have rented quite a few trucks over the years/decades and this is the first one I had trouble getting into. I used my person step stool after I got home. I got out from the very high seat very gingerly, but did not need any assistance. My son has a 4Ã—4,dodge which is quite high, that I can get into... The electronics were great. This was the first time ever that I did not have someone walk me around and through a rental vehicle showing me the various features. It took a while to figure out the way to turn off the "load hauling " indicator light. There should be a sign on the dash for that.MARIANN K O.
There were no staff available in the store for about 10 minutes when I arrived. This offset my entire day. The person I spoke to was gruff and resentful and didn't really seem like he wanted to be there. He didn't make eye contact and complained about other customers. We rented 12 plastic reusable *boxes* for a week at $18. At the end of a week we decided to keep them for a 2nd week. The Uhaul online site indicated that additional weeks were only $1 per box after the 1st week. When my partner returned them the following week we were charged $1.50/box. I called to inquire about the charges and spoke with Nick Demario. Nick was both confused and then *combative* over the charges. He indicated he knew nothing about reduced charges for additional weeks...and even claimed he looked at their website and found nothing on the site indicating a reduced 2nd week charge. I indicated I would send him a screen shot of the offer on the Uhaul website...He offered no resolution ...no friendly *the customer is always right* conclusion. The dollar amount was not the issue so much as the poor/combative customer *service*. Interestingly several minutes later Nick issued a $15 credit to my CC with no other commentary.Deborah H.
