I made a reservation two days before I needed the van and the guy before me got a van for as long as he needed but when I got to the counter I was told I could only have the van for 6 hrs , That was totally wrong of you employee so I had to get a 10foot truck, also I was charged a cleaning fee but I have my own pictures to prove I didn't leave the truck a mess and will be following up on this complaint.

Individuals who check the trucks should be more thorough. The recent truck I drove, the mirrors would not lock into place. I had to stop every hundred feet to adjust the mirrors. I thank God I did not have an accident. Please adjust your mirrors. It was unsafe to drive.

I had a very good experience with UHaul for the installation of my trailer hitch. It was very easy to set up everything on line. The general manager Tone at the service center was a very nice guy. I have no complaints & would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a trailer hitch.

Horrible horrible horrible. These people don't care about people neither do they have any regards for people as well. I don't know how this location is still opened but this is the worse place EVER for any customer service . The manager is even worse and I think he only got promoted because they don't have people working but this manager doesn't deserve the role and needs to be demoted ! Just close this location!

This experience pretty much ruined my life. I did everything by the book but when I had tried to get to the U-Haul storage place that I had reserved downtown I can find parking late at night and I was too late. The next day I was running a little bit late because I was struggling with AAA during my move and the battery died for a second time right before they were about to close again. So that was day two that I was unable to get my things into storage the third day the battery died again and because I was over the contract day they would not come service the vehicle. Again I was unable to get my things into storage. Finally after a few days of struggle with two broken down vehicles attempting to tell them one of them with my U-Haul truck and a tow bar that I purchased I was able to get a full U-Haul to the storage facility on Roosevelt a little bit late in the day and they cornered me and told me I had to leave the vehicle there even though I had more belongings that I had to move and that landlord was putting my things outside for the world to see and I guess pick through. So, I tried my best to get all the things into the space because five by five and cost 100 and some odd dollars, a major rip-off. However, most 10:00 rolled around I was unable to get on my things out of the truck and forced to leave most of my belongings in a truck I was locked up and taken away. The office that I rented the truck from was aware of my troubles and I didn't think there was an issue with me being over contract I left a full tank of gas in it. So, needless to say my life was pretty much ruined I lost most of my belongings and because of these struggles I was unable to get back to my broken down Toyota Prius in time and it was towed without my knowledge or consent to an undisclosed location and I have yet to find that. I have recently fixed the truck that was broken down and caused a lot of this Mayhem so I have a place to live with my three dogs and fiance until our home purchase closes and I guess I'll start over with my things in a safe place where I don't have to worry about them being thrown away or being treated like I'm subhuman in some form or fashion. What a nightmare I will never recommend U-Haul Storage to anybody and you're lucky I haven't sued you only reason I haven't looked because I don't have enough money yet because I can't work as I am watching three dogs all day until we get in your house, but when I do get that first paycheck I will definitely consider suing U-Haul. Thanks for nothing I am glad I have some kind of control over my emotions because if you could put yourself in my shoes you may be able to imagine the types of things that I wanted to do considering everything I lost at the hands of this company. I will never trust any of my things again to a massive corporation that is only concerned with profits and not with human lives. This is one of the longer paragraphs I've ever written. I hope you enjoyed it. I won't call you names like I want to oh, but know that I want to. With an exteme feeling of loss and despair, Kalan Holmes My mother worked for U-Hail in the 80s in Phoenix arizona and one of my earlies memories is driving a U-Haul truck from AZ TO Washington where i would eventually grow up. I scoff at that memory. One i used to think fondly of. Rotten now, like your eithics as a company.

I came a half hour after my pickup time and they were still cleaning the vehicle when I got there. Also, I ordered a dolly and they didn't have any at the location. I reminded them when returning the vehicle that I never had a dolly but I was still charged the $10 rental fee after being told they wouldn't charge me.

The truck was dirty. You would think in these days of Covid, there would be some signs of even the smallest type of cleaning in the passenger area. There were no hand carts available.. NONE. And the employee helping everyone had no customer service skills.

Nothing wrong with this location and the employees there are extremely helpful and nice. However, I will never recommend UHaul to anyone after my experience yesterday. My original reservation was for 8 AM. The day prior, they call me and say that the earliest I can pickup the truck is 11 AM. On the day of my move, I move all of my stuff out of my apartment and go to pickup my truck at 11 AM. When I arrive at the location, I am told that they don't have any trucks. WTF? After an hour long phone call with UHaul, I'm told I have to go to a different location across town. All while my furniture and belongings are sitting in the lobby of my apartment building. Worst moving experience I have ever had thanks to UHaul. Will not be using again.

When I placed my reservation the gentleman told me that I can have the equipment From 3 o'clock to 6 o'clock when I went to pick it up is argue with me and I need that had the equipment back by three so that's a big difference charge me an extra $18

The two employees that worked there that day were extremely unhelpful. I sent my wife with my car because I was still working. They were disrepectfull (rude) and made her wait outside for an extra half an hour before on of them started working on the service without no reason. Then they said that our car will be done within two hours but we waited four hours in total. In the end, they even dared to lie and said that she was late when I know she arrived the facility half an hour earlier than the appointment. Last but not least, they removed a tail light screw cover on the drivers side and never put back. A complete desaster! We'll never be back to that place.

I went through 4 different locations with reservations and once i arrived there was no truck. After being frustrated I received a call from a representative and she instructed to this location and once i arrived i was greeted with a well welcome and i appreciated that do to the run around. With that said I would recommend this location to anyone in need of Uhaul.

Service was bad, they told me to make the reservation online because there was no trucks available. So I did and magically there was trucks available within minutes of reserving online. Plus they didn't notify of the hold on the initial charge, followed by another charge on my card. Thankful to get the equipment and what I needed to do done, but will not go to that location again.

This location was cool, but we had a major inconvenience. We were called by the corporate office the morning of our move to be notified that they didn't have the truck we reserved. The representative Kathy was just very nonchalant and careless about our concerns. We reserved the truck for 9:30 and they said it would be available till 2. They were trying to give us at 10' when we reserved at 17'. It was very upsetting because we had our whole day lined up with paid workers and everything. We ended up getting a 15' truck, but this was still a major inconvenience and added more stress to our day. The store in general is okay. They seemed to be very busy and so service was slow and they don't take the time to answer the phone. I tried calling them 6x while I was out on the road to ask them a question and I never got through. They would answer and say please hold and leave you on hold.

This is the second time in a week using Uhaul and the experience is not good. The first time I had to call to get refunded because they were trying to scam my money with the gas trick. Now on this other location I got the truck and the gas was far from what they were giving me on the contract. I was aware of it and got it, otherwise they would have scammed me over.
