I was charged an after hours fee? Why? I went into the store and talked to 2 different people at 12:30 pm. One (dreadlocks) walked out with me and showed me where to park it. I walk back into the store and attempted to show my paperwork, he told me I was all set, we'll get the info from the return.

5 minutes away from the U-haul location the engine light went on. We turned around and went back. The van was traded out for another van right away. We were in and out of there in 10 minutes. very accommodating.

We changed the 10’ reservation from Saturday to Sunday. Somehow it was cancelled. So Paid an extra $10 for a 15’ truck but everything else was excellent.

Put in the wrong mileage when truck was returned overcharged me 60 dollars and told me I have to wait at least 48 hours to get my money back

The staff at the Jefferson rd location seem to lack knowledge about basic information regarding truck rentals overall. I don’t have names, so I can’t be specific. Perhaps a brush up course on customer service skills and knowledge of u-haul rentals might be in order!

Driver side windshield wiper, would not move back and forth , had to personally tighten up the nut that holds the wiper arm on , the hood was not latched , was driving down the thruway and the hood popped open , the key for starting the vehicle would not turn multiple times , some thing wrong with the steering column, ot shift lever , When I returned the vehicle , I was told I should have called road side assistance - A complete joke, Vehicle should not have been rented to anyone until issues resolved . Please forward tis onto a manager or some one who cares .Here is my cell 585 -469-6789

Truck windshield was covered with snow, no snow brush in truck. Store worker should have cleaned off the snow clean off the snow before giving me the vehicle. Wiper blade rubber was ripped on driver side,would not clean windshield,almost caused an accident when I used the washer and it froze on window. Back tires were bald and I got stuck on a small incline trying to back up. Truck rode bad,no power,and so loud you could barely here the radio

Please give the full receipt when vehicle is turned back in. I was given and estimated bill on-site and emailed the final bill later. Did not know I did not have the final bill in hand. Cab of van was dirty and so were all the van’s windows, hard to see out of. Back of van was very clean.

I dealt with a very disrespectful employee. There needs to be stronger management on employees and their customer service because the employee was unhelpful until forced to and the manager wouldn’t even talk to the customer to figure out the situation. Terrible representation of uhaul that I’ve never seen. Could’ve happened anyways but I believe the employee is big into the first line of defense to show a good business practice of greeting the customer and the the manager to follow up any discrepancies but in this situation both were not doing their job.

I returned the vehicle 4 hours past the first 24 hour period of a 48 hour rental - I asked the clerk if he would consider a partial discount. He said he couldn't and suggested I could keep the trailer for the remainder of the period. I wouldn't have been returning the trailer if I still needed it. He could have offered some small token of a discount. You should allow your staff a little latitude to provide special customer service. Clearly you have a locked command.on the market and dont need to worry about offering special service.

trailer was not clean outside and had muddy spots on inside floor. Even though I booked on-line and completed all required information and credit card number, it still took a long time at the dealership to complete this transaction. Then the attendant had to take more time to retrieve a camera and take a picture before we could depart.

Just make sure the interiors are dry after cleaning them. Our rental van was spotless but I had to use a few blankets to make sure my cardboard boxes stayed dry. I told the folks at the location when I returned the van and they were great about it. That’s a good crew you have in Henrietta.

Make sure trucks are functional. Also, when someone takes the time during a check in to spell out what was wrong (check engine light on whole time, inoperable lift gate latch), acknowledge it! If you're taking full price for a barely adequate product and someone takes time to make it better for the next guy, it'd be great to know someone is doing something with that info.
