checkout was slow this morning due to only one person working Everything else went well once I received my rental.

2 things need attention - this uhaul location is very busy and it needs more staff! I've rented twice in the past month and each time - there was a 20 minute or more wait. More staff are needed! 1) On both occasions the computers were beyond slow - the hardware and software are in need of updating.

I had to wait roughly 40 minutes for my submission to be accepted, when I was on time and ready for my truck rental. I originally booked my rental for 4 hours (with a 2pm return deadline), this forty minute delay caused me to rush to return the rental vehicle. If the app/online representative/in-store rep had approved my request ON time I would have had ample time to use my rental. I will not book online, use the 24/7 request service, or go to the henrietta location as when I went in store to inquire about my rental, I found a line 6 or 7 parties deep, with 1 person on staff.

The truck was clean but the cup holders had something that spilled them. I didn't say anything just cleaned it. Also asked when I went over the mileage given how much would it be a mile and they guys there had no clue. They told me something like 99 cents a mile when it was $0.40 a mile. Other than that it was ok.

Henrietta NY was a second location for a 5x 9 open trailer rental. Our first choice was Greece NY but unfortunately the trailer we requested was not available until late afternoon. Jacob from UR-Greece was outstanding in customer service. He made all arrangements to have our rental request moved to Henrietta. Polite and courteous. The UR Henrietta location was just as professional and friendly. I would highly recommend to rent from either location.

Upgrade computer services for general manager Dave. Said he was running on windows 95 and computer kept crashing. Had people waiting 30 min to pickup truck. He was doing his best but I feel terrible for him dealing with that and other customers that had to wait. Truck was given to me with maintenance lights on and needed an oil change.

Location was not the issue. Reservation number should mean reservation. After receiving my number(96173092) I drove 50 minutes to the Geneseo location to ensure that I got the trailer I wanted for the duration I needed. Upon arrival I saw the size trailer I reserved parked in the back. I went inside to give them my reservation number but the computers/uhaul site had issues, so the very nice lady behind the counter called to confirm my number. The person on the other end said she would be calling me shortly. 10-15 minutes later I received a call informing me I was supposed to call and confirm my reservation, this was confusing considering I didn’t even receive a number to call. The representative from Fairport (she wouldn’t give me her name when I asked) seemed quite annoyed at my frustration and attempted to make her bad day mine. I reluctantly accepted her offer to reserve another one in Henrietta (25 minutes away) on my way I called uhaul again to attempt to speak to a supervisor, my time was closing in quickly for my departure, I spoke with Dave and was satisfied that he did all he could ($30 off my next rental) but it seemed too little too late. I certainly feel that asking someone who had not yet shown up for the trailer to pick it up from a different location should have been preferable to sending me and my three children under 8 years old 25 minutes away to wait in line an additional 30 minutes. Not even remotely satisfied with the reservation side of this past uhaul rental. Please review the conversation between myself and the Fairport rep ?(+1 (585) 425-8732?) thank you!

What a nightmare of an experience. I forgot my keys in the truck we rented. I went back to the store and they called the guy who had the truck. The guy didn’t find them at the moment but then did later on. He texted me to let me know they were at the store. I returned to the store and asked for my keys. The worker said no one turned on keys here. I showed them the text and they got really defensive. I decided to call the sheriffs dept because it got really shady. They admitted to the officer that my keys were dropped off and that they threw them in the cleaning cart and that another customer must of taken them off the cart. I returned to double check and as I was walking by the window my Nike lanyard was hanging from behind the counter. I was very excited and went on and said oh hey my keys are down there. The guy pulled out my lanyard and there were no keys on it. I nicely said you have 5 minutes to give me my keys and you won’t see my face again or hear from me. The Assistant General Manager then said to the young kid working find him his keys so he will go away. I then went outside and the young man came up to me and said everyone left. They left me here alone. At this point I contacted the sheriffs dept again. The general manager is refusing to show footage and now I have to worry that a person who has my address also has the key to my car. My piece of mind is gone from this experience. Waiting to hear back from the sheriffs dept to see if the footage shows the worker pocketing my keys! This was a nightmare that will cost me a lot of money and I have lost my faith in this company. The videos are how they treated the customer in line ahead of me.
