Please lubricate the tire strap ratchet. That was the only issue I had with the auto hauler. Other than that the trailer ran great and followed my truck true and straight.

Robert Hthe tech jamal who hooked up my trailer was extreamly rude and condisending. when i first pulled in the lot within 2 seconds he was walking up to my car aggressively with arms outstretched in a Y position and yelled "what the hell are you doing" and told me he was going to smash a truck into my car . i responded that i was looking for parking since all the spots out front by the street were filled. he sarcasticly said "wow you actually asked that question" then proceeded to talk down to me like a child in a cartoonish voice and told me to anywhere that doesnt have yellow lines. this jamal person needs to be fired. he was very close to getting shot in the face. hes lucky im a calm person. the lady inside at the desk was very helpful and went out of her way to assist me in anyway she could and was very pleasent.
Nick SCounter service took way too long. Only two people working and one was engaged in a lengthly personal conversation with a friend while four people were waiting in line!
Peter SThere was only person handling everything. It took me 50 minutes between the time I arrived and when I could drive away. The employee was competent, courteous and doing the best he could. There was only one employee when I returned the vehicle so no one came out to get the keys as was done in the past. I brought them into the store which was no problem but we did not mutually inspect the vehicle so I don't want to hear about any problems afterwards. Based on my usual experience at this store, I would recommend it. Based on yesterday's experience, I would not.

I was frustrated when I was told that I should have called customer service about the faulty transmission before I dropped it off and there was nothing I could do at that point. I was told that the truck was going to get pulled so no one else would have an experience like mine. I have rented from U-Haul many times with no issues but this was a rough one.

infant rCustomer service was good BUT trailer hitch wire installation is a major concern. I did an install 6 months ago which was really unprofessional (fuse box left open, loose wire, exposed connection, wire connection under the car - supposibly they don't have wire long enough for the lenght of the car lol). I asked for the job to be done right. I waited another 4 hours (till closing) while no other customer was there. Well 6 months later, the connection does not work anymore. Now, I need to waste another few hours to bring the car back

Frank VPlease develop two things - 1) Your app and online service is below average. I did not work for check in, I had to go inside. Probably give 2 out of 10 for online expereince. 2) What the ??? - Please do not pass along other people's probelms to me. You gave me a truck with a 1/4 of a tank. I had to fill it up as soon as I pulled out. Poor service. My minimal expectation is 1/2 a tank. I know you can do better, that is why I am providing you the feedback. You provide a reliable brand with a relieable service, please do not let it slip and go out of business.
James MThe customer service when I returned the truck was poor. The employee was on his phone while I was standing right in front of him. I had to ask him if he would help me and if he could get off instagram. He told me I was fine and I dropped off the key to him. I then received another $24 charge on my card after I left. I called back and had to ask for a receipt to find out why I was charged.

clorindo NBest staff in the U-Haul network! Over many years I have done business with many U-Haul locations and had positive experiences at almost all of them, but this location at Havertown is consistently the best. The staff at the front desk are super friendly (to everyone), and knowledgeable about the business. The gentleman, who performed the actual hitch installation for me, was extremely pleasant and competent. He seemed to take satisfaction in doing good work. My hat is off to the person who hires the staff at this location. Nice work.

Susan TThe experience was perfectly fine; a caveat on the "equipment" question, there really should be a "sorta" option, the truck I rented got the job done so I have no complaints, but to call it "clean and well maintained" is a bit of a stretch; the two guys I dealt with in effecting the rental, and the third guy I dealt with on returning the truck, were a total hoot; all business and absolutely competent in terms of getting me into the truck and on the road this morning, and out of the truck and on my way home this evening, but a lot of fun the whole time, they alone are the reason for the five stars.
arthur kWebsite accessed by my laptop indicated $0.89/mile for a 15' truck. When I went to pick up the truck, the charge was $1.89/mile. The sales rep requested I show the lower rate. I checked through my phone and the rate was indeed $1.89/mile. As of 5:20 pm ET, the website accessed through my laptop shows $0.89/mile

Richard WThe truck had issues to begin with. Tdriver door wouldn’t shut properly, check engine light was in the full time. Crack in the passenger side mirror. Was able to do what I needed to but definitely didn’t feel safe driving the truck

Joseph MThe location should have an entrance on Township Line Road. This would make it easier to enter. The van I rented had trash inside the vehicle, but other than that, it was fine.
David BI reserved 10 furniture pads 3 weeks prior to pick up. When I was doing the paper work, they told me they had no furniture pads. Not okay. I said give me some large boxes instead. Guy came out with 3 furniture pads. Had I known you didn't have pads, I would have brought my own. When I returned the truck and pads, I had to shout to a guy in the backroom.Very difficult to get in and out of parking area. Not what I'm accustomed to with UHaul.

Bernadine HI submitted a review yesterday as well from my Rental on Friday (2/9) about having to clean the cargo area myself while still at uhual. I rented shading Sat, (2/10) and it was the same issue. I should not have to perform this duty. If I bring it back like how I get it , I’m sure there well be a charge. Wondering now if customers are being charged but yet the vehicles are still not being swept or blown out.
BERNARD MAntoine installed a hitch on my car. He kept me informed of the process and was super courteous and did a great job! Highly recommend. My only suggestion for the location would be to add a chair or two for customers who choose to wait for the install.
Lisa RTrain your employees in customer relations. I was told that I was overthinking things when I asked questions about the truck pickup. I am a 62 year old woman and the employee would not put the moving pads in the truck.

Virginia SCustomer service was excellent but the vehicle was in poor repair, with the back door not operating properly. On one side the part that slides through the track was broken and bent over so it would not slide in the track. The broken parts were quite rusty so it was not a new problem, and the truck should not have been rented out.
Jeanne AI would say the truck we rented was ok. The back didn't look swept . There were a receipt from the previous customer But the young man that checked is in was very nice and precessional.
