The only issue I had with this site is related to how they answer the phone. They answer promptly, ask if they can put you onhold, then put you on hold without waiting for you response. I called 3 different days, waited 20 minutesor greater, never talked to anyone and just hung up.this is very frustrating.

Ice/snow storm 5 days prior to pickup. Was given a truck that was literally frozen shut. Had to spend $30 on de-icer and chisel it open myself! Pics sent to email to confirm condition were of a perfect truck. Definitely NOT the one I was given!! When I called, I was told they cleaned it off and it snowed again. Negative. I work AND live within 2 miles of this location. Also rented a dolly. They said they didn't have it so would refund. No refunds were given.

The uhaul had dirt and buildup all over the dash and steering wheel. The tire pressure light was on when I picked it up. The truck smells like someone has been smoking in it and there was all kinds of plastic left in it. The guys working there are great and everything but maybe work on maint and upkeep of your trucks more. Overall a good experience

This was the roughest driving Uhaul I have ever used. Alignment might be off, not sure what was causing the truck to shake that much.

Manager called and claimed vehicle waa damaged. Vehicle had a low tire that I had to inflate. Vehicle maintenance light was on. Vehicle had been previously damaged. No pre-inspection was performed by location at time of rental. Vehicle was only driven local for 35 miles. Would not have wanted to travel any distance in the truck. I have rented many trailers over the years from this location. Very disappointing. When I questioned the manager about the vehicles condition his only answer its ok you took out the insurance. I did and If I had damaged your equipment which I did not then why wouldn't I have reported it. I did taken out the insurance. I wish to be called about this issue

The truck I rented apparently leaks badly when it rains as I had several boxes in both front and back that were soaked, my mattress and foundation as well as two recliners all sustained water damage. I reported it to the attendant at the drop off and he seemed disinterested other than to say he would tell his manager. This is the first time renting from Uhaul that this has happened (I have many times thru the past 30 Years) and I was extremely disappointed in the damage as well as the reaction of the staff.

The truck had noticeable transmission and suspension issues. All of the equipment was not ready for me to pick up. They had forgotten the appliance dolly and I had to remind them about it. Some of the workers would not maintain social distancing and were not wearing masks.

I picked the truck up around 2:00 , the truck was dirty and muddy inside. The agent said store closed at 8:00 pm so I said I would have truck back by 7:30 (which I did). When I arrived the store was already closed and I was not the only customer wondering why store was closed. I get my statement and I am charged $20.00 for after hours charge. This is not right, If he would of said he was closing earlier I could have been there earlier.

Pulled in and very efficient staff. Check out was easy and they Checked the back of the truck to make sure we had not lost anything like screws or materials for bedding

The truck was smelly and dirty. The check in process was not easy and although I had done all of these things online for my reservation they had to be done once again upon arrival at the facility. So I spent a total of over 30 minutes wasting my time.

The owner told me that the trailer brakes were breakaway brakes only, though Uhaul in Illinois assured me that the brakes were to slow the trailer when the towing vehicle applied the brakes. Which is it??? I would appreciate a response.

The man who we dropped off to told us repeatedly that we were “making his life hard, he shouldn't have to be taking our truck back because he was supposed to be off in two minutes” I asked for a receipt yet did not receive one. He was rude and condescending.

I made all the reservations on line. The wait in the office was not long. The employee handed me the paperwork and said “ your truck is around back”! “I” had to find the unit amount many trucks. The rear door was half way open and someone had been sleeping on U-Haul pads in the back and there were drug needles in the back as well. I removed the pads and kicked the needles out. So my trip didn't start well. I had ordered a dozen pads so I had to carry them around back as I hunted for my unit. The air conditioner was almost non working. On line it says 20' trucks have cruise control, this one did not. For $1900 I think it could have! Worse U-Haul experience to date. Cab was not clean and with Covid I would have thought it should have been.

The agent at the location I visited used his personal phone to photograph and file my drivers license for company records. His assurance of my information not being on "his phone" is total BS. Even if it loaded directly into the company website the information is still going to be in his phone. If I had not been in a hurry, I would not have rented from Uhaul. Designated scanners are cheap, provide them.

The person at the service desk while renting the truck out was excellent. However, when we returned the truck, the person in the store was quite a disappointment. The store times clearly say that the location closes at 7:00 pm. We reached there at 6:50 and the person just plain refused to open the door for the return. When asked why the store is closed before 7:00, the reply was, "we are closed". I was asked to use the key drop. Now this is not an inconvenience in terms of extra charge or anything and I was perfectly fine with key drop but I was just upset on this behavior. Other than that, everything else was good.
