everyone was helpful The trailer was in good shape and clean. The u-haul phone system seems to be confusing. When you call the local dealer listed on the web site you get routed to u-haul central office.

Not the location, the policy. Everything on a phone which I don't have. Very poor for a senior like me. I would have preferred to be able to make changes etc at the location. This change to everything on the phone has been confusing and frustrating. Bad way to increase your bottom liine in my opinion. The people at the location were nice.

The gas scale on the van was broken. So when I put gas it didn't show me any changes of the gas scale. Gas pump refused to add more gas because of full tank, but van's gas scale was still shoving less gas than required by your return policy. As a result I overpaid for the gas at least $20 because of your tricky van scale. Good way to always have your vans back with a full tank. Very dissatisfied by this situation.

Parking lot is TERRIBLY overcrowded. No room at all for customers to either park or maneuver. Access to uhaul vehicles/trailers extremely cramped. Personnel meets only bare minimum of requirements and appearance. All this reflects very poorly on uhaul. Will not recommend this location to others. Yard alarm goes off consistently and bothers neighborhood badly. Will complain about this to local law enforcement. Only use this location when I have to. Will pay more to use better location. Heed this notice.

Even though I talk to them every other day when I had the track and they extended my buck in contract they called the cops and told them that I had stolen it Naver trying to get ahold of me for 3 weeks I have it no missed calls emails nothing from them so I got put in jail because they weren't honest

Customer service helpful but billing practices inconsistent. My sister, Danette Ridgely, had a reservation and agreed upon figure per an earlier call to reserve the vehicle. Upon arrival, it turned into a half-hour debate which ultimately ended in the price being honored. During the payment event, she provided cash in the amount of 300.00 but then was told there was a deposit required. She, being in a difficult financial position hadn’t budgeted for this but I knew from previous rentals that a deposit is always required in some form or another. When this became an issue, I stepped in to help using my credit card to pay the deposit fee. That transaction failed and was indicated to be an issue with a fraudulent rental that needed to be resolved. She spoke with someone at U-Haul who told her to file a police report and provide that report to clear the matter which she’s doing this week. I then asked the customer service person at the U-haul location to please rent it under my name and use my payment method instead. It was at this point that they gave me a figure that differed by 90.00 thus not honoring the already agreed upon figure. It wasn’t as if I was renting for myself or left and came back asking for a discounted rental. It was literally 5 minutes between her finding out she was going to be unable to pay and my volunteering to pay on her behalf. Again, customer service at both the desk and on the phone were great especially over the phone. I only take exception with this billing inconsistency. And finally, the vehicle was not clean, especially the interior. I don’t expect a fully detailed truck but the efforts U-haul places upon a customer to inspect the truck for potential damage and the possibility of being billed for potential damage, you’d think U-Haul cares more about presentation. A clean and thoughtful presentation shows a genuine concern about the way U-haul treats their fleet and expectations of care by the customer. All-in-all, the truck was rented, move complete and truck delivered per the agreement without incident. I will continue to make U-haul my first choice in moving rental but cannot say this near hour long back-and-forth was pleasant or good use of a moving day. The people I deal with at the Eureka UHaul are always very helpful and business like. That said, I've never liked the location of this store which lies slightly north of city environs, making it a bit difficult to get to. I think it would be better for business if the store was more within the city sphere of influence than off to the edge of town.

Excellent service, if you can get it. Very, very short staffed, so be prepared to wait for extended periods. Don't get discouraged if it seems no one is manning the store - they're likely out helping another customer and will be back in 10-20 minutes.

The after hours check in process with the website and app did not work for me at all.

Working equipment and employees who are slightly more competent. After having to downsize to a trailer that was available and working properly, I pulled out and, just down the road, the trailer came unhitched and I nearly wrecked. However, the employee I dealt with was very apologetic and helpful in eventually getting me safely on the road.

Expedite pre-reservations to allow customers a streamlined experience. The past two times I have been to this dealer it has taken over 2 hours to pick up truck that was pre-reserved and selected for self pickup. This last time they had to re-ring my order 4x, each time leaving off the items I pre-ordered. Also location refused to rectify the issue with me, which shows poor attention to Customer Support. Have never been so let down by a national service agency. I will look to use other services now. Uhaul is so big they do not care about their customers.

The employees were helpful considering the internet was out. It took longer than expected because of the outage. Uhaul should provide a back up system since power and internet outages are common in the area, it does not set the staff up to provide good customer service. Staff were friendly and patient in what could of been a very frustrating situation for everyone.

Return was a disaster! Employee was curt and condescending. Waited for over 30 minutes in return line to return a one day trailer rental with not one person saying anything. When I asked about just leaving the trailer in the line I got a very smart alec response for the young man. Frustrated, I just left the trailer in the line and left.

Returned the trailer at 2:30 pm. It wasn’t checked in even though the employee said it was. The employee was completely unprofessional screaming & throwing the phone at the trailer. The employee needs anger management. I didn’t know the trailer wasn’t checked back in until I get a text at 6:30 pm saying I needed to return the trailer. I called to get this straightened out. Had I not noticed the text I would have been charged another days rental all because an employee didn’t check the trailer in.

Very important! Due to the oversize of your key "fob", I accidentally turned off my ignition while driving down the highway. My knee accidentally bumped into the fob which hangs down quite a bit and is within contact range of the drivers knee. When the van motor died, I didn't immediately realize what the problem was. The hard cardboard/plastic key attachment bound up at just the right configuration to cause the key to switch off. Hmmmmm/ might want to look into this. -Artie

Every time I drop a truck off at this location there’s always some problems. This time they couldn’t find a 26’ truck parked in front of their front door. Got a call from crystal at uhaul administration and asked if I had returned it. I sent her the photos I took when I dropped it off. Probably some training should be in order.

My UBoxes were scheduled for delivery 11/11/18. Then was told they would arrive late (11/13). Regional office said there would be no charge. Instead, I was billed for another month as of 11/13/18.

There are no gates at this facility, just cameras. My one issue is that the area between the U-Haul store and the storage area is being used as storage for trailers and you have to veer around them.
