Refund when needed. I was pulled over for a stolen truck in this location and was told I was getting refunded and was still charged.

Upon returning the vehicle, I told the Uhaul person that I thought a tire was flat. (The truck has double tires, so the ride felt fine). My total trip mileage was less than 12 miles, I believe, and only in the neighborhood (no freeway, max speed 25 mph). When I pointed out the tire, the employee immediately accused me and said I was responsible for paying for it. When I attempted to explain that I was confident it wasn't during my short trip, he said "that's what a guilty person would say", and continued to use more accusatory language. He brought over two more employees who said they were sure the tire was fine before I rented it. All three of them were pretty rude to me.

Please provide extra security protection for customers vehicles left parked on the property while using tge6 rental vehicles or equipments. There has been rampant vandalism of personal vehicles and I was a victim of this unfortunate experience when my van was broken into by breaking shattered front passenger glass window. Appreciate the fact that cameras have recorded for footage of the culprits yet a secured gated security or similar would deter the numerous criminal acts.

Before returning the truck it was refueled and cleaned after use.When returned to the location u_haul staff inspected the truck and received it with no problems noted.. The truck was returned in the condition in which it was received and when a receipt was requested, staff indicated none was needed. However, the following morning U-Haul staff called and stated the tailgate was missing and charged my account with the cost of a replacement tailgate. I returned to U-Haul with my son who made contact with U-Haul employee who apologized for the problem and who also stated the tailgate had been stolen sometime during the night. My son was given a receipt and was told my account would be refunded the charge that had been withdrawn. The funds were refunded but the experience was unpleasant and when I called and spoke to another U-Haul employee, he asked if I had photos to prove the tailgate was on the truck when it was returned. My response was no since the tailgate was not missing when the truck was returned and checked in by the same u-Haul employee that checked it out when it was picked up.Your U-Haul employee that I spoke to on the phone was rude and disrespectful stating that he had customers waiting that he needed to take care of and then he hung up. I have been a customer of U-Haul for at least 15 to 20 years and this was my first encounter with this type of incident. Not only have I used U-Haul trucks, your storage units have also been used and I feel that since I was being charged a significant amount of money for equipment that was not missing when the truck was returned, the least the employee could have done was either take the time to hear my concerns or offer to return my phone call at a time when it was most convenient and not as hectic as he stated it was prior to him hanging up on me. I made no further attempt to discuss this matter with anyone else at U-Haul but was appreciative to note that my bank account was refunded the monies that had been withdrawn. While this matter left a bitter taste, should I have the need of moving equipment in the future, I will avoid getting whatever is needed from the Broadway store.

The handheld computers were not working and this almost brought business to a halt. There has to be more ways to check people in and out that is less dependent on IT in times of problems.

I selected to do the mobile pick-up option. However, I still had to wait inside in line for 40 minutes for the reps to complete the transaction and give me the keys. I had to wait outside an additional 15 minutes for my truck to be pulled out. They did not give me furniture pads and a dolly as I had ordered. I had to go back for these items.

They young man who helped me was very efficient, friendly, and quick. The place was getting crowded with a lot of returns, but he was handling it and helping people in a timly manner. Super nice and friendly. Way different than my experience at the pick up location. I was out of there in 10 -15 min tops.
