Hey everyone! Good afternoon. I just say, please: make sure all your trucks can hold their gas without leaking more than half of it out when you fill the tank; I wish that this had been a better review. From the first time I put gas in the tank more than half of it leaks out and I got very worried; I know, & am sorry- I should have called, but I HAD to get the house cleared that night-7/1/22. It was imperative- I really had to clear the place out that same day; the trucks run well and they're powerful and I know & understand for hauling heavy loads, you need rear dually tires; the left rear inner dually tire is on verge of coming apart off rim; it was when I was installing a clamp around a modified rectangular cut radiator hose-around the severely deteriorated gas fill line on 7/2/22. Made a 6:00 pm reservation on 7/1/22 earlier in the day for a 15 ft truck & I showed up 5:50pm exactly, the driver doesn't show up, so employee had a 20-foot truck, but I said, that would be an extra charge, he said no extra charge- I was very elated to get the truck, because I Really had to get my things out of that place, that day before midnight. Landlord was nice and gave me an extra day. It was really supposed to be moved out on 6/30/22. And yes, I would still rent from U-Haul. I miss the original Crosstown I-40 Bridge through downtown with the spinning U-Haul truck. I wish they would have rebuilt that bridge; in this day & age, contemporary appearances on things such as Bridges and buildings call for modern looks; they could have redesigned it too, and added extra lanes. Don't let me reserve things that aren't available in the first place. The truck itself was scratched up inside and out. Thank God I called it out before I drove off with it and made sure I had the right insurance just in case. This is the 3rd time in a row this has happened when I use uhaul. Clean vehicle before renting. Do not rent vehicles with known problem areas --- rubber seal loose around front windshield, which made a sound like automatic gunfire.Mary W.

The vehicle I reserved was locked in place by a truck and a huge trailer. Then once I waited about an hour to get on the phone with the service rep I had to wait another 30 minutes for them to sort it out and allow me to get a truck. I ended up having to purchase a bigger truck than I needed. The app at no point gives the lock code to get the keys out of the self service so you end up having to call U-Haul cooperate to get a key. I have to tell you that the people who work here were very nice. I accidently left my keys when I took the truck and they were waiting when I came back. Both men were friendly and accommodating. I really can't think of anything to improve except maybe a military discount since it is so close to a military basel.KATHLEEN R.

My bank card was charged $115.00 instead of the $100.00 . I understand the $100.00 being charged upfront as a hold HOWEVER, the contract provide by the representative states $100.00 which leaves $15.00 unaccounted for. When asked she was unable to provide an explanation. I have my bank records that shows UHAUL made the charge. I understand it's only $15.00 difference however the documentation provided by UHAUL is false information.Rachel H.

Worst truck I have ever driven. The driver's side mirror was loose and kept blowing down. I had to keep pushing it back up so I could see. Very dangerous to do while driving. The steering column was broken and electrical component was hanging out of the dash. The truck wasn't full of fuel when I picked it up and I didn't get a credit for bringing it back with more fuel than I started with. It was the junkiest truck I have ever seen or driven. On top of all that the customer service was just as bad!BILLY R.

The app gave me a hard time checking in and checking out. I tried to upload pictures at pick up but the link expired and there were obvious differences between the photos for checking and what the truck actually looked like. The app crashed three times while trying to check out. And the starting mileage was recorded wrong. When I brought the U-Haul back, the app wouldn't take the actual mileage on the truck because it was lower than what was in the system.Jonathan L.

I'm not happy with the amount charged to the card! I did keep it overnight instead of the 6 hrs I said originally. My receipt shows $89 in additional fees! What were the additional fees? It said $20 and $20 for additional time. That van was clean and full of gas when I dropped it off. There was nothing that needed done. So why do you advertise 19.95 and then charge an arm and a leg just to use it for one night and you just put it right back out on the lot. I will never rent from you again it's not the location it's the company!!Denise P.

After having my rental switched to Del City location, understandable since I knew the previous location stated the length I wanted was not promised, I had the absolute worst customer service by the technician at the Uhual on Sunnylane road. I first arrived and said I was here to pick up and had already filled out the profile before hand online where the employee then proceeded to act like I was the biggest inconvenience of her day. She asked for my information and told me that I had signed up for the 24/7 pickup option to which I agreed and that the person I talked with on the phone said I could also come in for help if they were openâ€¦.which they obviously were. She then priced to say â€œWeeeell I can't help you I don't know how that worksâ€ and pulled out her phone to start playing Plants vs. Zombies. I sat there wondering what I was supposed to do until she finally got annoyed I was taking up space in the store and said â€œaren't you gonna go outside and get your truckâ€. Now having the tiniest bit of guidance I wondered around the outside of the building until I finally found the lock box. I was not able to get the code sent to me for an unknown reason and even after pleading for help several time the employee kept saying well I'm not in charge of that I can't help. FINALLY she agreed to call someone and after CALLING HER OWN STORE/PHONE several time she realized she needed to call someone else. Eventually someone on the phone informs her that she is indeed an employee that has the ability to do her job to which she goes â€œOhhhhhhh I didn't know the employee can open the box's to get the keysâ€ â€¦. Like the employees hadn't been the ones to do so! Overall worst experience ever and made so much worst by a snarky unhelpful employee the weekend of July 24, 2021COLE M.

We had a fairly significant weight when we arrived because there were people checking to see if vehicles were available and the process was fairly slow as they were helping them look at all other locations. That's a very helpful service but for the people who did that themselves online and reserved a truck for a particular time, it would be nice if there was someone to check them in quickly and get them going.NANCY N.

Will Hester Jr, General Mgr of Del City store, is knowledgeable and is always very pleasant to work with. The phone is usually answered with minimum wait time. However, I cannot say the same of the Midwest City store on 29th street. I have been on hold as long as 45 minutes. At one point I gave up and drove to the store where I saw about a dozen people in UHaul shirts walking around, but none of them offered to help four customers waiting in line. Finally, someone came in from the lot to take care of us. The people I've dealt with there are nice, but I will not return because they don't answer the phone and you can't leave a message; basically, poor customer service.LU M.
