The windshield inside the truck was so disgustingly dirty, it was dangerous pulling out of your lot into the low sun. staff was typical. maybe not as indifferent as most Uhaul locations. Rental trucks are a necessary evil. there should be more degrees of recommend to a friend other than just yes no.

Erroneous charges, van broke down. Waited two hours for assistance, finally had to get a ride back to U-haul for replacement. Tow truck towed away van with my possessions in it. Had to drive 40 miles to retrieve possessions. Was required to pay $50 deposit for replacement vehicle and then received mileage charges for that vehicle. Will never use this branch again and will tell all of my friends and work associates to steer clear of it.

The 24/7 online service was a failure in my own opinion. Waiting for approval took me 20 to 30 mins I was scheduled to pick up at 6am, thus, I was there at 5:40 AM (considering this is the night time changed to an hour early). I submitted all requirements by 5:50 AM but it took me around 6;20 before I was approved and got to take the truck. Something should be done.

The truck was neither clean, nor in great shape. However, OK for a local rental. I drove the truck 10 miles total. Refilled it with fuel prior to returning, but was later charged $9.50 for Ez Fuel. After spending 30 minuted on the telephone with corporate customer service, who could not tell me how the $9.50 was calculated, and emailing photos of my gas receipt, I was told that i would be contacted by the local branch within 72 hours. NO... I had to follow-up with corporate again. I was eventually refunded the money, but i spent almost as much time dealing with a false charge as I did moving.

Bad customer service the workers need to be more professional

The front brakes were spongey and the rotors felt warped. Also the front steering had a lot of play, think the front end needs to be rebuilt. A little scary when on the freeway, wondered a lot when hit bumps/dips on the freeway.

The app is the worst interface I've ever used. It was supposed to make pick up and drop off easier and it delayed both significantly. I've rented U-Haul many times, this was my first time using the app and it's the last time too. It made the entire experience frustrating and it's usually so simple.

This location is by far the best managed U-haul I have rented from. Please take out the blankets and dolly I have all of that and it only gets in the way. If someone wants it they can rent it from the front desk. It is a cheesy way of put product.

when i picked up my truck i did a quick walk around then drove about 5 miles to load it then 10 miles to my home. i was moving a client from Silver Lake, CA to Cambria, CA, about 230 miles one way. before i left i checked the tire pressure, coolant level and engine oil. checking the oil dip stick there was no oil on the stick. i checked 3 times. i had 5w-30 at home and added 3 quarts of oil before the oil read in the full zone i think my whole job could have been put in jeopardy if i broke down during the trip, which i feel was a real possibility being that low on oil. i thank God i have some auto mechanical experience. your shops should be more thorough in their inspections.

Staff needs to be trained a little more on explaining how the whole service works and explain the bills in detail properly before handing out the keys to the rental. Because to someone who is using the services for the first time its super confusing and i had dropped my keys off first by mistake before filling out the online paperwork and i am stuck without any help so there should be some way of support that can guide you through the process and tell you where to park and everything.

This was where I ended up picking up my u-haul, but when I went at 7am to a different location to pick up my uhaul, the u-haul wasn't there. It would have been nice to get a notification so I didn't have to drive that far to find out my u-haul was not present.

Reserved the truck for pick up at 11:30 AM 10/3 a Glendale, CA location. Day before pickup get a call from U-Haul. Location changed to Burbank. No big deal. Get the change confirm email on 10/3, truck will not be available until 1:30. What? Plane landed at 10:20. Gotta burn 3 hours so have to take an Uber from the airport to Pasadena to wait. 42 bucks. After I get to Pasadena, another message from U-haul at 11:40. Guess what? The truck is ready, come and get it. ANOTHER Uber back to Burbank, 30 more bucks. Great job guys! Get there, the truck's windshield is absolutely covered in dead bug juice, firmly dried of course, guess it's my job to clean it if I want to see well. Told me the gas tank was half full and I needed to return it that way in CO. Crank it up, gas gauge shows just barely over 1/4 full. Hmmmm. I've rented a bucketload of U-Hauls in the past. This was by far the worst rental experience I've ever had from them. On the positive side, the truck ran great and the AC worked very well.

Floor of van was dirty. Did not notice it, at time of walk through. We were returning Queen Bed and Couch to IKEA. Lucky we had some plastic and laid it over half floor, where couch rested. Otherwise, van was in tip top shape. Also gentleman at desk was very courteous. Liked that I could park my car, until I returned van. Recommend that it be stated verbally and in BIG LETTERS on contract to fill up gas tank, to level when truck was first received. Lucky I had friend, that understood process, better then I. The vehicle was just old, ran really rough, and the mirrors drifted. But I'm not sure what could be done about the way it ran other than retiring it earlier or changing the engine. It was clean though. Otherwise, everything was really great. Customer service was excellent.

When trying to pick up the truck I rented, I could only use your website through my phone to show damage to the truck that was not marked on your very own website. Well to do that I have to take my own photos and prove the damage, so I took the photos, then I waited for 45 MINUTES FOR YOUR CRAPPY WEBSITE TO NEVER EVEN WORK OR UPLOAD THE PHOTOS!!! GET A DAMN WEBSITE THAT WORKS OR DON'T DO IT AT ALL!!! YOUR WEBSITE FOR UPLOADING PHOTOS AND SENDING THE CONFIRMATION INFORMATION DOES NOT WORK!!!

Provide more accurate and better customer service. It took you guys 1 week to emaul me for additional charges and have the guts to ask an additional $30 for late fee.? The personnel that took my key fid not even check the vehicle when I returned it. Instead just informed me that I can leave right away and that everything is ok and will be taken cared of. The last time my wife got me at uhaul at canyon market in Tujunga California, I accidentally left my Bag, The black Guy check the uhaul when I returned it ob the spot. It took Him awhile and came back to trll me everything was ok. It was the next day that I recalled that I left my bag in the uhaul, I came back to the place and ask around and kept following up the next few days, but they said they never saw anything. Best service is honesty and good customer sevice. I experienced very poor on uhaul. Never will I use your company again.

I ordered a 10'truck and 6 furniture pads. When I got to my destination, there were no furniture pads. Waited on hold for 20 mins with customer service to tell them, they said the would refund me the $5.00 but when I looked at my receipt, they did not!
