We were originally supposed to drop off at a Sunoco station in Tampa, however, when we arrived there at 2:45 on Saturday afternoon it was closed and no sign of any Uhaul equipment. We searched the internet and found the one in Brandon. They were very helpful and very courteous. I would recommend them for all Uhaul needs.Raymond K.
The new check-in process treats customers, some very long-term customers, like criminals with the mug shots and multiple references. I have rented from this location for twenty years but I certainly will not do so again in the future. The Uhaul management team has made a serious error in judgement with the new check-in process. It is much, much less convenient and degrades the customer experience. There are far too many competing rental companies out there to treat your customers poorly, I will use Enterprise in the future.David R.

I was given the wrong trailer. I cpould not reach anyone for servuice once this issue was noted. i spent hours on the phone waiting to speak to someone and then finally corporate's custmoer service with no resolve for my issue several hundred miles away with no other means of transportation. The 26' truck I rented was very abused mechanically. The engine ran rough, the breaks were suspect and something caused the whole truck to shake and lurch starting around 35 mph. I would not have wanted to attempt a one way move in it. It got the job done and at least it was clean. You know going in that the majority of the trucks in U-haul's fleet have been abused and probably should have been retired long ago. This location does an excellent job keeping what they have to work with in the best shape they can though. 5 stars for the hard working folks at the rental locations. 2 starts for the corporate folks who can't seems to come off enough of the profits to stay ahead of maintenance.ANTHONY B.

This location needs more stowage area. Whether it's on the side street or more in the back, the idea of having inventory on hand for customers to obtain is a great thing however, navigating through inventory when leaving or returning after rental without damaging property can sometimes be a challenge. Being a quite experienced driver myself, even i have encountered the challenge of leaving or returning equipment while menuverin through the gauntlet of inventory on the property. I myself find it pleasant at times but if in a hurry, it could pose to be a challenging distraction to the inexperienced. Good luck and happy motoringRoy W.

Had to wait online while the only U-Haul empoyee helped a couple who did not know what they wanted. There were 4 prople stacked up. Finally, after 12 hour the lady said that anyone returning an item needed to go outside and check with a gentleman to finish the turn in outside Staffing not acceptable. William J. I finished my move earlier than planned. I went to turn truck in but I had to go all the way back home because my vehicle was blocked in by other returning trucks, adding more miles to the move(about 15-20more miles). That being the case, I think there should've been some concession made on the price. At least tell people of that possibility and tell them where to park just in case.Karl B.

My wife and I are visiting our daughter in Florida who has an Autoimmune problem and we cannot have contacts, go in stores, etc., for two weeks prior to visiting. Take the false advertisement of $19.99 a day off the side of the truck. I used a truck to pick up some furniture at Ashley's in Brandon and dropped it off in Riverview. Cost my $70.00. I Had the uhaul less than 2 hours. I asked how much would it cost to put a hitch on my truck she gave me a quote of over $500. Insane! No I'll never use uhaul again.Denna K.

The after hours way of returning the vehicle had difficulty on iPhone but worked fine on Android. Specifically, the website could not verify my location on iPhone no matter how I changed the phone's location settings. But there were no issues with Android once we tried it.David R.

Everything was satisfactory. The only thing you could possibly do to better this location, is to have a few more regular size pickup trucks available. Other than that I'm very satisfied I use you a lot and I've never needed a vehicle and your location didn't have a vehicle prepared. But, I will say this, I have found that if I needed a vehicle and you possibly were out, you would contact other locations to satisfy the customer. Stay safer and see you next time.James H.

I have been a uhaul customer for quite a long time. However, this last time it turned out to be a very bad one. I returned the truck and made the mistake of leaving the keys inside the truck. Well, the manager never called or anyone to help me with this issue I called their office several times and got a call center. I needed up paying a very high fee. I am completely dissatisfied with the service and customer service of this uhaul office.Afeter this, I may never used uhaul ever again.Celeste C.

I scheduled online a 26 ft truck and for some reason I was down graded to a 20 and if it wasn't for a young lady named krystal which was able to accommodate me into a 26 I would've lost my moving crew. My original drop off location was 8017 US-301, Riverview FL 33578. I went to that location to return the equipment and it was a disaster, there was no set way in/out of the parking lot so I was stuck on HW301 with the trailer blocking traffic and getting yelled at. The employee there told me they wouldn't accept the trailer because they didn't have room and told me the nearest drop off location would be the one at 377 Brandon Bl. The employees at Brandon Bl were much more organized and helped me quickly. This mishap by the original drop off location cost me time/gas and frustration and there needs to be more organization if a location is selected to be dropped at and is no longer accepting equipment.Alex P.

Tony Sellars at this location was great and went out of his way to help but the other gentleman that was working next him was not helpful at all. We are so glad that we had Tony and not the other person. The inside of the truck was not so clean and there was sticky stuff in one of the cup holders which i cleaned out and that is why the score is what it is. This place is a complete joke. You need to stop partnering with them. The lots is PACKED full of trucks and trailers with Barry enough rooms for customers. The customer service area is a complete mess, unorganized and dirty. When I went in to tell them I was there to drop off, they told me they didn't have room for the trailer (12 x6). Mind you, it was already scheduled. I had just finished a 9 hour drive, unloading a trailer, and was ready to be finished with the process. The older lady who worked there told me to call another place down the road to see if they had room. I responded no, it's in my paperwork that this is where I am returning it. She ignored me, continued to say they were full, and gave me the number to corporate to call and figure out where I could return it. She didn't offer to call them, just expected me to figure it out. Had I been strong enough to lift the trailer off my hitch myself, I would have dropped it in the middle of their already congested lot. It's one thing if you cannot honor a reservation, but to essentially tell me â€œtough sh*t call corporate to find somewhere elseâ€ is totally unacceptable. I ended up having to drive somewhere TWENTY MINUTES away to drop it off. I will never rent with uhaul again because of this business.ARINN H.
Did not have what I reserved and gave me a bigger truck which made it harder to maneuver in my community. Customer service was awful. Did not speak to me for several mins while he grew agitated on the computer. When I asked what was wrong he told me to wait while he made phone calls to look for a truck and see if someone else wanted the same size truck I requested but was wanting to change the time of their pick up to later. Then he asked the other customers if they were checking in. He helped two more people while he asked me to step aside and wait. I was then told he did not have a truck for me and I needed to wait for one to come in or take the larger truck. I had made my reservation weeks in advance and was not happy with this place. I will not return as a customer and will tell all my friends not to use this location as well.amber M.
