I recently rented a tow dolly, the ratchet for one of the straps was broken, when I picked it up it looked as if just the handle was damaged, in reality the hole mechanism didn't function properly. It was hard to get it to release the strap in order to take it off.

Massive pot hole in the middle of where you have to drive in your own car. Very small parking lot for the trucks and therefore they are packed in tight. The whole business is based on mostly inexperienced people driving giant trucks and then you have to maneuver your way out with no instructions or info about the trick itself of any kind. Luckily I was able to get out just fine but most people I know would have had a lot of difficulty. I had to figure out some of the inner workings of the truck on the fly. This can be dangerous for less experienced drivers. Overall, the truck itself was in good working condition and I successfully moved my stuff. Also glad that we rented the blanket pads.

Make sure the trucks are serviced regularly
"Go the extra mile" if a customer has made the inspection on the reserved vehicle, but instead of the staff moving the blocked vehicle after having to walk back inside to notify of the inconvenience of the time wasting then have to wait on another vehicle to be submitted cause of staff laziness.

Rental process was good.
It was a smooth transaction. Easy to to navigate online and the people at Uhaul in bellflower were friendly.
Hidden charges. Why charge miles if you are charge gas after also.

I received a phone call 10 hours before my scheduled pick up time for the truck. Your agent informed me that the truck I rented was not available and addition I had no option of renting a one-way truck so I had to rent a local truck doubling my cost. I'm extremely upset and dissatisfied with U-Haul your agents the way your company is ran. I will never use you again nor will I ever recommend anyone to use you again. I'm currently considering small claims court lawsuit.
Make sure employees are properly trained to process transactions using the donation certificates.

The reason why I am giving this location one star is because I was not able to get the car trailer one way only according to the worker who helped me, so I had to drive back 2 hrs just to drop off the car trailer back to the location from were it was picked up. From my understanding car trailers are allowed to go from state to state no matter were it was picked up
I was charged an extra $20. I need a call to resolve this issue
I was disappointed that I was receiving calls at 1:30 asking about returning it. I rented it online for the whole day. Why would I need to get it back by 1:30. I paid for the whole day. I should get a 50% refund.
The exit it's kind of risky, they should place a mirror or a camera to avoid any possible accident. Thanks
Very good experience, everything went smooth.
The customer service was great. Unfortunately, when returning the truck after hours we felt very unsafe as there were multiple people (not employees) hanging out in the parking lot of the facility on the back of the other trucks that were parked. They were smoking, drinking and were very loud. We were concerned they could tamper with equipment we were returning and other equipment on site. There should be security or someway to keep these strangers out.

Pre-paid for a one way 15' which they did not have we were not contacted prior to our pick up date. Staff was unwilling to help and rude. I will be filing a complaint with BBB
Service was friendly and prompt. Reserving a truck was simple, and it was ready when I arrived. Check in process was equally simple and friendly.

More information regarding the documentation required to use the app. Allow customers to choose from equipment present. Have a progress meter available for someone checking in online to see progress is being made. Ensure that everything that is listed for the next steps (such as a key dropbox) is actually present. Key lockers so that customers can pick up keys without having to talk to employees.
I want to be sure my personal information is not shared and or stolen. An associate took a picture of my Drivers license with a phone. Was it a personal phone? What happens to the picture/information? I did not realize what he was doing until after the act was completed. I thought he was going to complete/verify the screen information only. I am not comfortable with this transaction.
Overall great experience. Fastest uhual rental ever in znd out of office in a few minutes.. Staff was excellant, courteous and professional.

Great staff and very helpful . I just wish they had a place for customers to leave and park their vehicle, while customer is utilizing their rental truck.
I rented the worse truck the lot had to offer. the transmission was skipping, the tires were balded and it needed a wheel alignment, Also, the air filter from the air condition fell out when I slammed the door closed. I was very unsatisfied
