The staff member at this location was extremely lacking in customer service or hospitality. Aside from having no visible signs care for their physical appearance, the staff member was spoke in what seemed like single word grunts, though I guess you could call that economy of language. Moving forward, I would hope that Uhaul would recruit staff members who are motivated to please the customer and include in their staff training a strong emphasis on hospitality. Please look into Japanese omotenashi culture (https://guide.michelin.com/sg/en/article/features/omotenashi), which can be applied to one's personal like and all business models, from restaurants to moving companies. Each one of your staff members is an ambassador of Uhaul and I would hope Uhaul would invest in their staff accordingly.

The person at the counter was incredibly helpful, efficient, and kind. I hadn't had great experiences before with a uhaul pick-up, but here is was super easy and everyone was kind and expeditious.

I was tripping on needles trying to inspect the vehicle. The online skip the line was a terrible experience. Slower then in person. When viewing the vehicle the cap was off and the front desk said don’t worry it most likely got siphoned. I was told to go fill it up and they would reimburse me. I went and filled up $16 dollars worth of gas. Drove 5 miles and returned the vehicle without any damage. Upon return I was refunded $7 dollars worth of gas. They said going off the gauge it says 1/16th of gas which is $7. I tried to explain that vehicles have reserve miles in tanks. Normally you have 30 miles after it hits E so I just filled his reserve tank without payback. This vehicle gets 10mpg. I drove 5 so half a gallon. Rounding up that is $2. After my $16 dollar spend I should have been refunded $14. I was given half. The gentlemen that helped me out was great and tried all he could. The older fella had to mention that technically the pay back program is new and they normally don’t do this. I laughed thinking really. I had to fill the damn truck up for them and not get paid back? After what I had to go through I am pissed I even had to pay at all. Waiting for the general manager to call me back. Will not be returning.

We live in the rainy northwest, thankfully the gas tank wasn’t given to me empty this rental. However, after I got the truck home, woke up the next day with condensation all over the windows...the windshield wipers didn’t work. Perhaps an oversight although I would have been really screwed with a truck fully loaded to move, if it had of rained. Wtf? Can you do a thorough check before giving vehicles to customers?

Representative on duty 12/20/19 was unbelievably rude, condescending, unhelpful, and unkempt. He also refused to give me the packing supplies I paid for in advance.

Fine . . . except that the floor of the truck had recently been painted and it wasn't quite dry! It smelled strongly of paint, and everything stuck to it!!! Couldn't believe it! Otherwise, all went smoothly.

Please be clear with your gas credit service. I was told that I would be credited for gas after it was returned, but then I was told that wasn’t true when I returned it. Besides that, the truck was maintained well and we had no problems with the vehicle.

My initial reservation was at 25th and 75th NE in Seattle at one of your affiliates - a Shell gas station - at 2:30pm. The route manager forgot to set my truck up for remote pick up (I think uhaul calls it 24/7 pick up). After spending 2 hours on the phone with uhaul reps and talking to the gas station manager, I was re routed to Ballard due to the route managers incompentance. Now I am driving to do my pick up at 4:30 (rush hour) and spend an extra 45 minutes in traffic. What made this inconvienence even worse and personally damaging was that I was paying a few helpers $30/hour starting at 2:30. Your route manager cost me an extra $270 in labor for three guys to stand around for 3 hours. On top of this the sequencing of the work I was doing was screwed up and probably cost an extra 45 minutes in additional waiting. I was expecting at least the entire rental to be comped (I explained this to more than a few of your reps) but just got my final invoice today via email and was still charged for one day (I was comped $50 guarentee and the extra day of holding the truck). I realize one idiot doesn't represent an entire corporation but he sure didn't put uhaul in any sort of positive view in my book.

While the vehicle was clean, the location gave us a truck that had recently been painted. We didn't realize that the paint hadn't fully dried until we started to load our belongings. The items were being delivered for donation and ended up with paint on them.

The employee was nice... However, I received the truck empty of fuel, had to drive 3 miles to fill it up (which I was later charged with over the estimated mileage by less than 2 miles); I also put $15 of gas in, came back with 1/8 tank...and still charged extra? Disappointing...

The truck was well maintained and the iphone pickup went relatively smoothly. The issues started when we opened the back of the truck to find that the 20 packing blankets we'd ordered to protect my furniture were not there. We called after the store opened and were told that they "ran out." I would have been nice to hear this two hours before we were loading the truck. A phone call? Email? Credit on the order? No, none of that happened. Very unprofessional. We were however given a hand truck which I did not order, yet was charged for. I told the clerk when I returned the truck that I did not order the hand truck and wanted it removed from my bill. He told me his did it, yet, surprise, my credit card was still charged for the hand truck. The day got even better when the move labor I contracted through the UHaul.com website were a no show. No phone call. No text. No email. I called and left three voicemail messages and a text and still have not heard from them. FAIL. FAIL. Did I mention FAIL on the entire day. In the future I will not be going back to UHaul for my moving needs. Because not only was the UHaul moving truck fiasco unwarranted, but the movers with whom I contracted through the UHaul move site were a complete disaster.

Shit was great. Drove smoothly, backup cam was a nice touch. Kept balance really well while loaded. Bottom pad in the truck bed has the right amount of friction to keep stuff steady. Lots of tie points inside is nice.

U box was not ready for the mover at the agreed upon time of 9 am. The mover had to wait in a long line and then convince the staff that the u box should have been ready upon his arrival.

The staff is hard to reach via telephone, but the service we received at the facility was impressive. Connor was able to assemble our UBox, trailer, and truck in 1/4 of the time of the previous Uhaul.

The movers I hired were able to get my UBox at the scheduled pick-up time from UHaul without any explicit approval from me. This is extremely unsecure. Apart from this, things were great!
