The van I rented was great other than the cigarette lighter ports were all dead which meant no phone charging all day. Not a deal breaker though. The staff was excellent and courteous.

This location requires a mask to enter, but doesn't offer masks to customers that forgot one. The employee behind the counter offered that I walk (since I was dropped off to pick up a truck) 3 blocks away to a gas station to get a mask before entering. 50mph winds today as well. Do you care about your customers? I understand guidelines for health and safety, but why would you want your customers to feel that way? Any establishment that requires a mask to enter should be considerate of your customers and supply one if they forgot one.

customer service was a little lacking. truck could have been pulled up front instead of me having to squeeze between trucks to get in and pull truck out. Staff could be more service orientated, helpful, rather than just another day at the grinder. Take a little pride in what you do.

Always have an employee willing to answer questions about or help by familiarizing customers with vehicle operation such as gages, flashers, emergency brake, bright/dim switch etc...Tho' much has been standardized with automobiles these days they are not All identical, operationally speaking, from manufacturer to manufacturer.

When I entered the store, I was told that I had to wear a mask. The clerk stated that it was a county mandate (I could not verify this). However, the store did not have masks for its customers. The clerk further stated that if I could not find a mask, I would be refused service. I had made a reservation, and refusing to rent me the equipment would have been a grave inconvenience for me. Fortunately, I was able to find a mask in my vehicle. If Uhaul is going to require its customers to wear a mask, they should provide them as a courtesy.

Everything was smooth and quick. Great friendly representative behind the counter. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Improve - We drove roughly 2000 miles and we know because of cost you buy basic truck features. it would be beneficial to add some insulation and sound barrier to the cab as it is noisy with the road noise. Difficult to hear the radio.

Thankful for this location. I was supposed to pick up a truck from Marshal Liquors close by but nobody around. Pick up notes said come back when I the store opened but I scheduled the pick up for 8 and didn't open till 10. I recommend this store over any others had everything I needed and they saved the day.

Most of the employees were extremely courteous, but the manager present on Sunday December 5th at 9AM was extremely rude, inconsistent, and unprofessional. I had reserved a truck several days in advance, nothing in any of the emails gave me any notice that I would need to bring a mask to the specific location. I went into the location and waited in line with some people masked and others not wearing masks. The gentleman in front of me was helped out and he did not have a mask. I then went up to the desk to get my reservation and the manager told the person serving me not to let me rent the truck unless if I wore a mask. I had proof of vaccination on hand and I had already been waiting inside for over 10 minutes. I would have understood if they simply did not let me in, but the fact they helped out someone in front of me without a mask but singled me out was simply strange and rude. Fortunately someone else inside had a spare in their car, but I think your treat their customers in a courteous and consistent manner. I was polite and uncontentious throughout the discourse and if my move wasn't time sensitive, I would have gotten the manager's name because he should absolutely be disciplined for his actions.

The vehicle we were given had a cracked radiator, which caused the engine to overheat and nearly started a fire. We were able to pull off the interstate safely and call in roadside assistance, but given it was a Sunday on a holiday weekend, that took a long time. Once we finally got home we also realized that coolant had leaked out all over our driveway and stained the concrete. After going through all of this, we were still charged the full amount for our vehicle. It was nice of U-Haul to come and tow the truck after it broke down, but the issues were caused by faulty maintenance and were not our fault. I would have appreciated them waiving our charges for the vehicle or at least giving us a discount.

Get a new owner, I walked in without a mask the owner told me I had to have a mask. I asked if he would help me from outside which he replied no. I didn't know if my wife or I had a mask in the car as a lot of business are not asking for them. I said “I'll fucking find one” and walked out to the car. This asshole comes out like he's going to fight me and yells did you call me a fucker. I said no “I said I'll fucking found one. My wife found a mask under her seat and when I came back in he proceeded to be a complete asshole asking for 2 references that he could call right then because of my out of state license. Which did not happen when I rented a tow dolly 6 weeks ago. He decided he would make it as difficult as he could due to his misunderstanding. I will never use U-Haul again due to the poor franchise management and your “owner” who wants to fight a customer over something that wasn't said.

Reserved a car hauler due to a breakdown in Blackhawk, only Uhaul open on a Sunday- greatful for that but when we went to load car one of the straps was broken and too short to secure the tire. I called them back and informed them I would not be able to get to them before they closed as I was an hour away so I was already 2hrs into trying to get my car home. They told me to call customer service, which I did, and was told I'd be on hold for 45mins. I left a callback number but it was 2hrs before they called back. I was not going to be stuck on top of a mountain for two hours waiting for them to call me back to wait more for them to come and fix the problem, I improvised and let all the air out of the tire and was able to secure the vehicle. The strap should have been replaced before it was rented again-I got lucky because the strap was just long enough after de-airing the tire to get it to work but very frustrating to say the least. Disappointed in the condition it was rented.

I went to this location because I know they have dedicated, friendly staff. I was super annoyed that I had to do so much of the process on my phone. Especially the scanning of the ID card. If I wanted to do it myself, I could have used many of your other locations that do not have staff.

no communication between uhaul and movinghelp. uhaul never knew the pick up and drop off schedule. movinghelp asked me where the box was and where it was going. uhaul called me to arrange delivery at the destination while the box was already in my driveway. they didn't know it was there. movinghelp called me asking where the box was for them to pick up. I had to supply the info. also the first company through movinghelp backed out the day before the delivery and we had to scramble to get another movinghelp company complete the delivery at a later date and greater cost.
