I noticed this location is under new management which is nice to see. I was never impressed with the previous employees.

PATRICIA H.I had to drive 13 miles in the opposite direction from where I was headed to pick up this rental. This added 26 unnecessary miles to my drive when there are two uhual locations within a 3 mile radius of my home. With mileage pegged as $0.79 per mile and gas prices being what they are, this should not be a burden that the customer has to bear. Why is this always my experience with uhual. The last time my experience was quite the same so this seems to be quite common with uhual. You can do better, you must!!!
TROY V.First I have to apologize to the lady behind the counter (I told her but I have to say it again) I went in the store having a fit because my month wasn't going well, then the uhaul location canceled as I was pulling in the parking lot, the move is getting expensive and if it could go wrong it has!!! The lady behind the counter, Michelle, was amazing at making me feel better and even making me laugh before I left. She even let me hug her to thank her for helping my experience end a million percent better than it started. Way to go and please hire more like her ASAP

Charise C.Vehicle battery was leaking acid. Battery failure caused the truck to shut off in the middle of an intersection. Took several attempts in the middle of midday traffic to get the truck started again.
Mark N.picked up a trailer from manassas va and hit frederick md (that i got the safemove coverage on) when the trailer brakes locked up. called road side but sat on hold for almost 2 hours as i limped the trailer to hagerstown. when i got there the wonderful young lady behind the counter did everything in her power to get us into equipment to finish our journey. she sat on hold with road side and tried the chat system but they were unable to tell her where to find anything similar to what we had. she put us into a 10ft truck at no charge and made sure we were happy with that. her name was michelle and she went way above and beyond to help us get to our destination then back with no further issues. she was friendly, helpful and kept us informed through every step she made so we knew what to expect. would gladly drive to her location in the future instead of dealing with manassas again which was no help at all

ERIC C.I got charged for mileage because the equipment wasn't available where the reservation was made. So I had to pick it up from another location and got charged for all those extra miles. Never again will I use uhaul.

Terry S.I only needed the van for an hour but was charged for 2 hours. The representative indicated that there was a 2-hour minimum so I knew up-front about it, but, I needed the van so I had to go along with it. That, plus the additional mileage (I only drove about 25 miles) made it very expensive and not a good value for me.

Aurelio R.The truck we received had a hole in the roof that was patched but still leaked leaving 6 of our boxes soaked. We ended up taping heavy plastic inside and out so we could continue to use the truck since we were told it was the only truck available. This was after the scheduler moved our pickup location twice meaning we had to drive to Frederick to pick up the trailer we also requested.
Jake S.Van was reserved, but after waiting 2 hours beyond scheduled pick-up time, still none were available. Finally had to take a box truck which did not really work for our needs, and only compensation was knocking $0.20 off the per-mile charge. Never an apology, never any legitimate concern for a long-term customer. Won't go back. As a business owner I know things don't always go as planned, but letting a customer on the hook and never even getting up from your chair to try and accommodate in unacceptable. Whatever changes have happened at this location, it is definitely lacking any professionalism.

Madisson B.The old man at the counter is rude and has NO people skills! He bitched my wife and me out for coming in the store before 7AM....the door was open, it was cold outside, so we went in. He rudely told us to go wait in our truck, which we did. When returning our rental, we sat in the truck for over 15 minutes while we watched employees putting lense cleaner on their car headlights and having a smole....while we sat in the truck. No customer service at this location! I'll go somewhere else for my next rental!

No contact or change of location information had been provided by Uhaul. While surprised, I was glad that I reached out. I suggest you improve on such comms.
