I was pleasantly surprised; my previous experiences with this location were that it tended to run out of vehicles and have long lines. When I got there today, there were two people being helped, and a third waiting. I was quickly helped and the truck I had reserved was actually ready and waiting. I'm not sure what changed here, but I'm happy it did.NEIL K.
The woman at the counter, was helpful, as was the man who helped hook up the trailer. The reason for my negative review is that a man came to help unhook the trailer. I didn't see him, and he started unhooking the trailer while I was backing up. It was dark and he was wearing dark clothing. I nearly ran him over. I never saw him, but I heard a voice and stopped. I still had 10 feet to go backing it in and was still moving when I finally heard him. Scared the heck out of me - to think I almost ran him over. Please have your staff communicate with us before stepping behind moving vehicles.STEPHEN I.

The early hours pick up app was difficult to use. I had to re-create my account multiple times and reset the password multiple time to get it to work. The wait time for telephone assistance was over 20 minutes. Upon return, there was one person working the counter who was very rude and short with customers.ruthie D.

Your people were smoking marijuana at the drop-off location on Belmont Street in Worcester, MA. I mistakenly left a set of keys in the cup holders in the van. I called the location to notify them, but they never answered the phone (I let it ring for at least 10 minutes, but no-one answered, several calls were made). When I got there to pick up my keys, I was told they were not there. One of the 2 individuals, who were smoking weed as my son and I dropped off the van, has my keys but are denying that they have them! They were highly intoxicated and extremely unprofessional. It cost me over $200 for a new car key, make copies of apartment keys that I needed to return to my former residence, and change the locks on my new home. I will never do business with this establishment again! One of the 2 intoxicated persons has my keys! Very, Very unprofessional!DAVID M.

Attempted to rent trailer from Chicopee Mass. They sent me to Springfield Mass. 16 hours before pickup time they called and told me I would have to drive over an hour to Worchester Mass to pick up unit. Trailer broke down. Manager of the Worchester Mass store did nothing to Reimburse me. Once I got to the storage unit in Tennessee it would NOT UNLOCK. Went back to the store. Got another pass. Then the unit they assigned me was taken. The woman who rented me the unit said there â€œ was an elevator â€œ. BIG LIE. I told the woman who rented me the storage unit that I JUST HAD A KNEE REPLACEMENT. Couldn't get the manager on the phone. Called to return the truck and trailer. They sent me to a location that WOULD NOT TAKE THE UNIT. Had to drive an additional 45 minutes to return the unit. Will never rent from U haul again. No reimbursement from UHAUL. I will post this on Facebook and tell everyone I can what a shitty company U haul is.RICHARD C.

I reserved online, the truck was not pulled out of the staging lane, the appliance dolly I requested wasn't in the truck, and the bag of "6 large furniture pads" only had 4. I didn't realize this until getting to my destination. Because of all this, I took about 3 hours longer than intended and got charged double.Christopher S.

I had to take what I could get as I had a appointment with the city dump and I am forced to move before Nov 1st. For starters. I checked one week before renting so I would know what everything was going to cost me. The woman I first spoke to and then later the manager were unsure of the mileage costs for the vehicles I was considering. Told me it was probably either .69 cents or .79 cents per mile. ENDED UP BEING $1.09 PER MILE. How do they rent theses vehicles day in and day out and not know the mileage costs and be that far off in guessing? The next biggest problem was when picking up the truck. The registration on the paperwork did not match the registration on the truck. Thats bad enough but then the registration on the truck did not match the actual registration on the trucks paperwork in the vehicle. So they decided to get me another truck only to have the exact same issue. The incompetence at that point just amazed me and I wanted to simply cancel the whole thing. Finally a third truck had matching registrations. Then they had quoted me the incorrect insurance rates. There is so much more to say bad but I think you get the idea. The cost was almost double from what was quoted me. On the good side the Manager Adrian Reyes was professional the whole time and did his best in the end to compensate me for my inconvenience. This was the THIRD consecutive time that I have gone to pick up my vehicle/trailer at U-Haul and found that it wasn't there. This time, the location manager was very helpful and luckily was able to find me a larger vehicle. The last time, I had to drive a half an hour the wrong direction find myself a trailer. This location manager was excellent, the last one was utterly unhelpful, saying basically "tough luck." I will check out Ryder or Penske next time.CHARLES M.

The MOST INCONVENIENT thing about this storage facility is NO ELEVATOR in the entire building! My unit is on the second floor, so everything had to be carried up stairs. Which, of course, means it will all have to be cartied back down stairs when it's moved out.
