Although reservation, pickup, and drop-off were flawless and friendly, customer service after that was horrible. I wanted to report a lost item and was told by the national 1800# to call the location. I did that and spend 25 min on hold only to be told I was speaking to a rep from the national 1800#...wtf! Then I called the location again and told them what happened and I was transferred again to the national 1800# Finally, I called a third time and was asked for a callback number so a local rep could get in touch with me...that call never came! The next morning I found out the mgrs name and spoke to her directly. She resolved my issue, but it should not have got that far.ALBERTO D.

My reservation was for a van at 1PM at a location close to my apartment at 5310 52nd Street. This was changed last minute and moved to this location which requires a cab to get to. I had to spend an additional $40 on Uber to get to and from this location. Upon arrival I was told there was nothing available despite my reservation in the system. I spoke to someone multiple times on the phone that I did not want to go to this location. I understand it's the end of the month and busy but I would like a partial refund to cover the expense of the Uber.ALEXF B.

The staff at the customer service counter were amazing and friendly. The van we received didn't have the dolly, furniture dolly or the furniture pads that we reserved in it. Booked online. Had to wait 25 min on a line to get my vehicle. Was told I had 30 miles and brought the car back under 30 miles and got charged a riddles gas fee even though I put in the same amount I left it with. Terrible.Elliot R.
The cabin of the truck gets so hot from the engine!!! I had the AC on on Max and windows rolled down and still was unbearable. Something is not right with the truck and I did tell the gentleman receiving returns. I don't know if he understood what I was saying. I have rented trucks from you before but never had such a terrible experience with the truck itself.Amine Z.

I was unhappy with this location, the assistance and the drop-off location. This place was significantly unorganized with many people trying to drop-off their trucks; therefore, other truck renters were pulling in behind me and blocking me in from being able to leave the location. It was a clustered mess. Also, I rented a storage unit here that was also a disaster. Not only did they not have the storage unit I requested 2 weeks prior, but the one they provided me as "comparable" was not even close. It was so small that I would never be able to fit all of my belongings into it, no matter how good I was playing Tetris growing up; let-a-lone, the fact that there was a solid beam located directly in the storage unit itself, which prevented me from placing large items inside. ALL Around, I would never recommend U-haul to anyone.Jayson S.
The service is awesome and fast I'm very respectful and have great manners maybe that help to have a good experience everywhere. But they are very nice. I most of time rent trucks on UHaul Awesome inventory literally you can do almost everything in your phone so fast clean. My husband and I are always happy with our experience.Harry R.

They overcharged me for late return. However, once the vehicle I received the customer service lady didn't tell me the process of return and penalties etc. Also I called to the call center while I was returning and she said that her system is down so I should've checked online and drop as per process. Since I was on rush and just dropped the key in the proper return park spot. Unfortunately, I've not submitted the return application online and they charged me. It's not matter of price, rather I see lack of professionalism or Ujjal is getting too much business and don't care customers.AHMED I.

I am currently disabled and unable to carry anything due to my crutches and she was kind enough to help me pick out my moving boxes not to mention put them in the car. That right there blew me away. The truck should be removed from service. Front headlights were all broken. I uploaded pictures so show the damage. The truck had over 148,000 miles and should NOT be in service. We drove a 15-foot truck from Florida. The size online for the unit we rented did not fit the recommendation and we ended up having to get another unit to store the remaining items. We had a long process of moving into our unit as the loading dock that was closer to the unit was blocked and were told we should have waited until the end of the month as that is the time it would be clear. As stressful as our day was, this comment really did not help as we had to move when we had to move. There was a lot of trash around and we were worried we would get blamed for it even though it was there prior to our move. The girls at the front desk, however, were amazing and did the best they could to help us get a second unit and work with us on processes and procedures to save us some money.ALEXANDRA A. | Online Move In

Everyone here was very helpful and nice! This was my first time renting a storage unit. I reserved the unit online which was an easy process. Once I got to the unit I realized it was not going to be big enough and that it was an upper level unit. Since I had a couple heavy objects this was not going to be feasible. Storage and truck rental customer for many years. Can only state good things about this particular facility, reliable and safe trucks, always clean office area, hallways, and restrooms. Staff very nice, courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable about the business. Manager, Nas Matthews friendly and always willing to accommodate customer's needs and concerns in any given situation. The lack of deck-level loading docks is a glaring deficiency. This made our move-in take a good deal longer than necessary. I asked about the availability of a loading dock before renting, and was told that there was one. The hallway on front of my unit was also too narrow for us to be able to bring some of our furniture into the unit without tipping it up on end.David M. | Online Move In

Nas, the general manager of this location is an absolute superstar. There was a very high stress situation that occurred on the property and she handled it very well. I work in the hospitality industry, and I understand the stress she must have been feeling, and she took care of everything. We rented a van and storage unit and everything went smoothly. The only thing I would recommend for the higher ups is to re do parts of the floor in the stoarage area, there are some cracks and imperfections that cause the carts to get stuck which can damage the items on the carts if they fall or shift. Word of advise, get there early if you are renting a vehicle. Uhaul needs to contact a few different people to confirm your identity and for security before they can hand you the keys. This process took us about 15 minutes, but if there's a lot of people on line, that time will add up. Also, if you are loading things from your car late night around 9pm, park on the left side of the building Or make sure you can't get boxed in if other people are dropping off their vehicles. We got boxed in but it was at the end of our rental anyway so it worked out. We would definitely rent from them again. Nick PNicholas P. | First Impressions
Overall, I was satisfied with the van rental, picking up the van at Johnson city was a pleasant experience. The personnel in Johnson city were courteous and helpful, but my experience at the BQE location when renting the store locker was not what I expected. The lady that help me wast courteous, she took too long, the information that she need should have in the system, and when she need my information couldn't even ask me in a pleasAnt manner, also it would be nice to explain where was my locker, how to properly open/get access, no I had to figure it out on my own, and ask another customer, I would suggest to give more trading to the lady that attended me. As for the person who received he van back, he was very helpful and explained me all that I need to do, as it should be, for that I want to thank him and the person in Johnson city as for the lady I think she can do better with proper training.Jorge C. | First Impressions
