I reserved the truck for my move for Saturday. I get a call from the place on Saturday at 10AM that the truck is not available and that they booked another one for me in woodland which was 17 miles away and 30 minutes drive. I expected UHAUL to not charge me for the extra 17 miles each way but after talking to the location and the corporate they told me that they can't do that for local rentals. I ended up paying $60 more for the extra mileage and the gas.

I had issues with the self check in far 8am and had to wait for store to open at 9 am. The computer program was so slow by the time I got out and in my uhaul truck it was already 10:30 am. I reserved the truck for 12 hours but decided I needed more time so I called to extend time to 24 hours this was very easy. I had a minor incident at the gas station I didn't realize how close I was to the cars parked at the gas pumps. I turned to get close to the pump and turned to sharp which caused me to scrape the back end of a car (near rear tire) with the trucks driver side rear. The lady if the car was understanding. I did purchase the insurance for the rental so that covered the truck damage, I had my own liability insurance for myself which will cover damages for car. It was an overall good experience. I would recommend that someone from the IT department look at the programming or system in the Woodland location to better serve customers.

The gentleman who helped me when I picked up the equipment (Adam Truck I believe ) was rude and very un welcoming when I arrived in the morning and was the same way when i returned (his excuse when I returned equipment was “I’m not on the clock”). If I based my decision to rent from this store again solely on my interaction with him I would not come back. The woman who did check me back in was fantastic, very helpful and polite and really seemed to want to be there.

Lack of customer service skills in both staff and management. No display of empathy, patience, consistency. No clear communication. Poor work ethic. Unknowledgeable with a thick skin.

When I first walked in there was an empolyee already helping out a customer - there was an issue with your UBox rental and they were trying to resolve that. I could tell things were getting heated on both ends. The lady who helped me said she hadn't done this a lot before - maybe she was new? Not to sure, but that was okay I understand that if someone is new it will take a longer time. Another lady came in and was helping her a bit. However, the system was down and it was taking a long time to load the page and get the reservation. The man that was helping the other cutsomer had come back to the office space and said, "those people are idiots." I was shocked to hear him say that in front of another customer. The ladies before that were gossiping about him as well, how he closed up shop the previous day without notifying his boss or other coworkers. I think the chaos of the system being down brought a lot of stress to the staff and they couldn't handle it. I've never been to a place of buisness where you hear other employee gossip about their coworkers to customers and where employees say bad things about other customers in front of customers. Overall, the whole process took about 50 mins. I almost cancelled my reservation because of all the chaos and they processing taking way too long.

Uhaul customer servie was available 24/7 to help with challenged old scool person(me) to return rental off hours. Got it done...hopefully the next old person can have a good experience too..

First, the person who helped hook up the trailer didn't know what they were doing causing damage to the truck. This transaction was on 9/14/2019. Once the damage occurred, the two truck was sent to pick up the trailer. It is now Sept 25, and the hold charges on my credit card are still not taken off. In the past week, I have made seven phone calls to not only the original location, but to customer service as well. Just today I spent over an hour on and off hold with someone trying to find out information, then was cut off. When I called back to reconnect to the original person, nobody could find the particular person I was talking to. I have had it with your poor lack of service and timely resolution. I have contacted my credit card company to file a dispute and fraud charges on my credit card. Maybe that will get someone's attention, I highly doubt it. I have never had any problem with Uhaul for the past 40 years of renting from them, but at this point the location personnel and the customer service are something to be less than desired. I don't think I will every use Uhaul again just because of the being lied to for over a week, and the attitude of blowing me off by telling me each time they are going to fix the problem, which remains unsolved at this very moment.

We had one tire that was almost bald and didn't notice it until we were stopped for gas four hour out. Made us very nervous the rest of the trip.

Computer system wasn’t working. Our reservation in Yuba City was lost due to computer error. I bought a hitch and they couldn’t even print a receipt for me. Woodland was also experiencing computer difficulties.

Poor experience, gave me a trailer with different stock number than the one listed on the contract, making the return horrible. Also, female employee was not familiar with the computer system, hookup was prolonged because of other trailers in the way. Uhaul lost my business.

absolutely inappropriate behavior from the stores staff and managers. employees were not able to do their job correctly or quietly. Manager refused to make things right. I will never recommend this store or uhaul of california.

When I went to U-Haul woodland, which address is 1600 Tide Ct, Woodland, CA 95776. They damaged my rear bumper and the guy named Gil Rosales, he promised me to report a claim for me by their insurance company, but there is no answer since I back home. I send messages to him and no reply. Just let this guy call me back or pay me damage fee from their insurance company.
