When we picked up the truck, it had 3/8 of a tank of gas. When we returned it, we had 5/8 of a tank. However, the man checking us in wrote down that the truck had only 3/8 of a tank of gas. Also, we turned the truck in literally 26 hours after we had rented itâ€"not the full two days. We received NO credit for turning the truck in early, NOR did we receive any credit for putting extra gas in the truck. Instead, we were CHARGED $7.37 for extra miles. This was not fair, especially since those extra miles were because the U-Haul pick-up location was changed at the last minute by U-Haulâ€¦AND we put an extra 1/4 tank of gas in the truck. This is no way to treat good customers, and we are not happy. We mentioned all of this to the U-haul rep at pick-up, but he wouldn't (maybe couldn't) do anything for us. We are not happy at all with this U-haul experience. You should treat good customers better than thisâ€¦or at least refund our $7.37 as a token gesture of goodwill.DONALD FRED J.

There was a lot of play on steering. No inside indicator lights to tell if my turn signals were working. We went 13 miles total. You charge us $20 so you owe us seven dollars. You charged $.99 a mile and I'd like to have that refund backGeorge F.
The last couple of times I rented from uhaul (at different locations) the truck is not a good running vehicle. The one I rented on this particular day I could not drive over 45 or it started shaking like a blender making a milkshake. I believe there is no maintenance done on these trucks at all. Im not sure why everytime I deal with Uhaul they can never get the billing correct. I have been charged 8times for one pickup truck. I already went in to deal with it (or so I thought) but i come home and look at my bank statement and its still incorrect. Then when I try to get ahold of the location I was dealing with-they never answer the phone and i get switched over to your main reservation number. Moving is hard enough and it gets really old having to deal with the same thing 5/6 times. I expect competent and accurate service. I truly believe that uhaul does this on purpose in hopes that you dont check on the finances-because EVERY SINGLE TIME i deal with this company-its a problem! Yall need to get your affairs together....aside from that your customer service is rude as hell-keep in mind the reason you are in business is because of your customers-so you should step it up because you guys have been in business too long to keep having the same issues.Mary G.

This is base on the experience that I have with them. I have paid and attached the trailer in the Uhaul truck but the truck broken and roadside assistance trying to fix but when the truck is done the next day trailer is gone and was rented out to another customer. They like us to pick up the new trailer at another location. I was mad so I asked for a refund but the refund that was an issue was less than what I paid. This was one of the worst experiences of my life. I made an online reservation but when I arrived at the U-Haul location my truck wasn't available. The manager called around and found me a truck somewhere else. I went to a second location but they didn't have a truck available either. They sent me to a third location. No truck. I had arranged to have three friends help me move. Their days were wasted. Location #2 eventually provided me with a truck hours later so I had to move all by myself. I'm 68 years old. It wasn't easy. One suggestion: don't rely only on the computer to find out if there are trucks available on the lot. Walk outside and take a look. It's easier for you to take a few steps to the door than it is for a customer to make a wasted trip driving across town and back.James P.

The Bathroom Was Nasty. People Used The Trash Can For A Toilet. The Toilet Seat Had Fences All Over It. There Was No Soap Or Paper Towels. I Alerted Staff Three Times About The Condition Of The Bathroom. I Had To Use The Bathroom Across The Way @ The Service Station! The Manager Yohan Is Rude & Overbearing. He's A Bully. And, Harassed Me About Parking My Car On The Lot, When A White Cadillac Has Been Parked There For 5 Days. He Harnessed Me About My Account Payments, When I Was Moving Out To Another Uhaul Facility In North Las Vegas, An Hour Away From The Stephanie & Russell Uhaul Site. THE BREAKS ON THE VAN MALFUNCTIONED! They Went All The Way Down When Pressing On Them. I Had To Stay 3-4 Car Lengths From Other Cars, So As Not To Hit Them. U-Haul Road Side Assistance Gave Me Specific Instructions To Wait Until A Service Provider Could Come And Repair The Brakes. Yohan Made Me So Upset, I Had An Anxiety Attack & Totally Shut-Down Due To His Harassments & Bulling Me. The Manager, Yohan @ The Stephanie & Russell U-Haul Embarrassed Me In Front Of U-Haul Customers. He Reprimanded Me About My Pay History. And, He Told Me I Better Have My Items Out Of The Unit By 7:00 p.m. The Bathroom Was Filthy For 2 Days . I Had To Go To The Service Station To Use The Bathroom! I Have Had The Items I Removed From The Stephanie & Russell UHAUL @ That U-Haul Since 2017, Approximately 5 Years. I Spent $2,200 Dollars In June, Moving From Missouri To Nevada. Gas tank was not full when rented vehicle. Didn't take photo of gauge. Drove van 11 miles and it cost more than $20 to fill the tank. The people at the Center where I rented it adjusted my rental fee to compensate me for the extra gas I put in the van ðŸ'Michael M.

I originally wanted a storage to fit all my stuff after talking to one of the staff we settled on what I though was the right size .. I have 2 bedroom house .. I ended up with a 5by6 closet rich did not fit anything and was told that's all that's available .. I was not able to move all my stuff and had nowhere to put remaining items .. I got a truck also which now I need to pay for because it was. Late all other storages were close and o had no idea what else to do .. check in staff friendly manager did not care .
