Gas tank was not full when rented vehicle. Didn't take photo of gauge. Drove van 11 miles and it cost more than $20 to fill the tank. The people at the Center where I rented it adjusted my rental fee to compensate me for the extra gas I put in the van ðŸ'Michael M.

I reserved a Uhaul 2 months in advance. Truck was not available until late day of requested date. When I finally was able to get one I requested one way and certain drop off location. Hours later I was notified drop off location was not available due to a city ordinance. I spent more money driving miles to other drop off location available with no reimbursement. I feel when someone reserves a truck 2 months in advance it should be available and Uhaul should let people know sooner if drop off locations are not available.Rosa C.

I find it appalling and reprehensible that uhaul's policy of asking how many miles a customer intends to drive and then charges 4x the price per mile when the estimate is less that actual miles driven In my case I gave away furniture to a nurse in need and even loaded it and drive it to her home 39 miles total which wasn't anticipated Add an additional fuel cost , which I absorbed, coupled with the additional mileage which was at 4x normal cost It's easier to enlighten your customers and perhaps suggest they overestimate their mileage usage My good deed more than tripled my cost in a truck with 118,000 miles that gets 10 miles to the gallon I don't regret my charitable donation to the nurse but gouging by such a prominent brand, Uhaul, is distasteful from my perspectiveAnthony R.

Don't make people travel across HELL(Las Vegas) to pickup equipment. Two times this has happened. Your online service is about 1/2 from a scale of 1 to 10. Being it's extremely weak!!! If Uhaul doesn't have enough employees perhaps incentive would be an answer to this problem! Those at the top of Uhaul's pay scale need to take an extreme cut in pay to get worthy employees. What I dont recommend is your reservation service. The person I spoke to gave me the wrong location information for pickup, when I arrived, the guy said it happens "a lot" as well as cancelled reservations for lack of vehicles. How can you do that to people?Michelle Y.

Cameron and Alejando moved 3 extra long & wide heavy couches with amazing results. They look fantastic! One couch was so very long and wide that it would not fit up my 2 level stairway. I was going to change location and leave it on the first floor, but Cameron suggested hoisting it over my master bedroom balcony. It did not look easy to do at all, but years of experience on Camern's part and expert handling with Alejandro on the balcony and Camerons muscle lifted the couch miraculously! Amazing results, truly great and memorable! I will definitely recommend them and use them again in the fulure! LaurelJAMES T.
if you are disabled as I am it is way to far to walk to where you have tp park fron the facility. I am on oxygen and barely made it to my car. Need more consideration for the disabled.ROBIN ANNE P.
I was extremely upset by my service today. First a call at 7 am saying they don't have a truck available and I need to switch to a van. That's not a big deal but 7 am? Like that's a early call to be making regardless. Then I pick up the rental. It's clean, but not like it had been cleaned in between customers. Like the customers had picked up from their rental and no one from the store had even wiped down the dash. Annoying but not worth a complaint. We rented the van for 8 hours and we're running a little late, so, as a courtesy, I call and let the person on the phone know I'm running late and want to make sure that won't be an issue. I've rented from many uhauls and never had an issue running a little late. Well the gentleman on the phone let me know that the van had to be back at 6 because they had another rental at 6. There are a couple problems with that. 1) He did absolutely nothing to accommodate me. He said to be back by 6 with no other help despite me very clearly being in a bind. 2) If you're booking rentals with no grace period allotted you're quite literally setting up for failure. If someone's late you have two unhappy customers, and there's no way you could clean a van then. So I guess if I had covid or something y'all aren't doing anything to protect the next person using the van. 3) I have already been moved from a preferred vehicle to one that frankly made my moving day more difficult. You could at least accommodate a grace period. Also, the person on the phone (sounded like he said Damien or Kamien was his name, not sure though) did not inform me of what the penalty would be if I was late. So basically, he did not accommodate a simple request but on top of that he gave me and everyone involved the anxiety of unknown fees or penalties. Bottom line, I will never rent from this uhaul location again based on how disappointing my service was. Moving days are always stressful and nobody wants to deal with an unhelpful employee when they're clearly in a not ideal situation. Not to mention, knowing that you all book back-to-back and didn't even have the right vehicle in the first place, I'm not risking stupidity making my moving day harder ever again. Knowing how you all work someone was probably late back with my original vehicle and that's why I had to accommodate you. I shouldn't have to do so, and if I do, it shouldn't be at 7 a.m. the day of.Emily J.

I chose this location because it opened at 7am and then night before my reservation was switched to an online reservation When arriving everything was through the phone. The problem is the the uhaul account set up on the phone through the app says i have no reservation and when entering the number it says unrecognized no current order. This was an extreme hassle. The two reservation systems should be integrated to alleviate stress confusion and anger.I had to call and wait on hold for 20 min while standing outside. This was ridiculous and highly stressful.There was no one to ask guidance from. Additionally at the end I had to go through the same hassle to return the truck. When I inspected the truck for cleanliness I found that the dolly zip tie had broken loose from the truck which we did not use at any time during our move. Lastly I believe I was also charged additional gas mileage but returned the truck tank to the level it was upon pick up. Over all I'm highly dissatisfied with uhaul. The set up at Stephanie Place in Henderson Nevada is a joke.Its terrible.Giinger P.

I originally wanted a storage to fit all my stuff after talking to one of the staff we settled on what I though was the right size .. I have 2 bedroom house .. I ended up with a 5by6 closet rich did not fit anything and was told that's all that's available .. I was not able to move all my stuff and had nowhere to put remaining items .. I got a truck also which now I need to pay for because it was. Late all other storages were close and o had no idea what else to do .. check in staff friendly manager did not care . Bizarre and legit horrible experience. Two actual hours of my life were spent reserving and re-reserving 3 tries to rent a truck. Many bad things to say about this location! Service was cold and unacceptable. But mainly - They put down a *specific pick up time* without telling you! and then. *cancel your reservation* without your knowledge or a phone call. This was not the pickup location I requested, nor was it the location indicated on my reservation confirmation received from U-Haul. It is frustrating to try to load up and get on the road when the reserved equipment is not at the designated location. Response received at original location was, Oh well, sometimes the computer changes the location. Upon picking the trailer up at U-Haul's "convenient location", the contract had me returning it to a different location, actually a different city, than requested and indicated on my reservation confirmation. The counter person said nothing they could do about that, but I just needed contact U-Haul to revise the drop off location, which turned out to not be that easy. Equipment was clean, but one tire had significant dry rot. Fortunately, it held together for the 1800 mile trip.Michael V.

I originally had a reservation the day before for a 1 pm pick up. I called and said I'd like to come in around 11 and the person said "fine, I'll just put it for 10." So, I went in at 11:22 that day and was told the manager cancelled it because I was late. Fortunately I could make the next day work so it was just a minor inconvenience. The dude that helped me was kind of a dick. But in his defense I started it. The reason I started it was because you (U-Haul) sent me this little link to check in ahead of time to save me time during check out... WHAT A WASTE OF TIME THAT WAS!!! The dude asked for EVERYTHING I already provided during that "pre-checkout thing". So what was the freaking point other than to NOT save me time AND to waste my time completing it ahead of time? When I questioned the guy checking me out asking what the point was of checking in before coming to the store he turned defensive and got testy with me.John H.
Staff was great. The only complaint I have is online usage. Last time I tried to pick up the truck via online and website had difficulty loadingâ€¦.this time I rent a different truck and try to report damages online before I left. I was able to upload pictures but when I went to submit, it wouldn't workâ€¦frustrating because it took 15 min to take pics and wait for them to upload and then you can't submit. My credit card was deemed prepaid and they demanded an additional $60 deposit ????? I have used this same cc many times at other U-Haul locations and never had a problem!!! Everything was honestly great! All the staff were super friendly and helpful! I like the contactless concept and how last minute you can book and how easy it is. I also love that you can hire dolly's and furniture coverings too! It was slightly irritating that I had to give the contact of 3 other people and wait to be authorized before I could get the keys (I was in a rush, so maybe not an issue any other time). Also, when the van got checked back in, it said we had travelled 130 miles, when I did a 31 mile journey to one place, 36 to another and 12 to return the van. However, the team rectified the issue promptly. So over all, a very good experience considering I booked the van that same morning as a last minute thing! I would recommend!Kendra C.

I honestly can not think of any instance where I had a "real" problem and it was not resolved is the reason for the "excellent" rating. On several occasions, I have had to speak with representatives both in person and over the phone and they were always friendly and helpful-did I add I rented a unit there, 2 at one point, for years? This facility is amazing. I love that a lock was included in the unit for us! The loading dock made moving in much easier, as did the elevator and all the dollies. I feel very secure knowing the unit is alarmed. The staff was so helpful and friendly.
