(1) Get your phones fixed. The ONLY way I could communicate with the store was by visiting it personally. This was the case throughout the 4 weeks I was waiting for my appointment. (2) Train your employees about what is needed for a hitch installation. I got 3 different prices from 3 different people, ranging from $325 to $449. That's ridiculous. (3) Give Lee Hoang a raise. He finished my job in 1/3 of the time predicted and was able to knock $$ off the bill. He was the only person there who really seemed interested in what he was doing.

I have been at this location a few different times. Most of the employees are very friendly, with the exception of Matt Driscoll. He doesn't seem like he likes his job. This is the first time I dealt with him directly, but I have also seen how he treats other customers. The equipment is always clean, not always full of fuel. I use this facility only because of its location.

I called to confirm my reservation with an u-haul rep at the location of pick up and verified that I would also need an appliance dolly. The rep said I would have one. I picked up the rental before opening hour on Sunday June 5th and drove to my desired location. I opened the back of the truck and no appliance dolly was provided that was requested with my rental. I had to use the utility dolly that was included in the back of the truck. After review of receipt for use of vehicle I was charged $10 for the appliance dolly that was never provided in my rental. I would like a refund for the the appliance dolly charge that was not provided with my rental.

Well everything was going good until I brought the pick up truck back. I did everything required of the contract. I received a call from a manager stating I have done significant damage. This is not true. I picked up a few things. When I got to my house I call the store and told him the tail gate wasn't coming down and he told me to use the key fob and it did work. I had the pickup truck for a couple hours. I feel helpless. What ever was wrong with the tailgate mechanism was obviously overlooked from last customer. They did not show me how to use tailgate or have me do a walk around. They told there u go. I feel they are trying to make me pay for something the store missed and now they are trying to get me to pay for there mistake. It felt like a setup. I am a very responsible person. If I were at fault I would have owned up to it. After this experience I probably chose a different rental company. And under these circumstances I would not recommend using uhaul. I really like the truck. It road great and handled great. I really truly do feel like I'm being railroaded for a problem I had no idea what manager was talking about. I'm assuming he is referring to tailgate mechanism. Thank u for giving me a chance to hear my side of the story. It's an unfortunate situation

Well I only put 20 miles on the truck I rented. And I had to put 4 gallons in the fuel tank. 2021 Silverado 1500. Gauge said full when I left the store. So u might wanna check that out. Not very happy about that. Overall the experience was excellent.

If I were to pick one thing to change it would be your website! Once a customer has picked a vehicle they are TORTURED with silly questions about storage, help with moving, packing materials etc. If one thing is changed after these interrogatories, the questions have to be answered again! I have rented from UHaul 2-4 times a year for several years now and I dread your website!

The team worked very well with my needs to extend my rental. Super helpful. My only complaint would be, although there are examples of the storage units in the showroom. I really wanted to see & asked to see the unit I was going to rent. I.needed that extra visual. ;) I'm glad I was able to fit everything in the one I currently have. I am on a waiting list for the first available 10x20 :) Once again friendly accommodating staff! I love working with the Pittsburgh Ave U-haul boys!

Service was incredible! I originally made a reservation at the location on state street for a 8 am pickup. They neglected to prepare my reservation correctly but this location was able to transfer my reservation get me exactly what I needed in a timely manner and I was still able to meet for my moving appointment only slightly late. I will certainly never use the state street location again as I believe they failed to meet the basic requirements of the service they are supposed to provide, and future uhaul needs will without a doubt be at the Pittsburgh ave location

We scheduled on li e for truck and car carrier at one location near us, then informed car carrier was not available there but now pick up 1 hr opposite direction. When we called to say no to that and changed Truck pick up back near us... OUR DROP OFF return location was rerouted 5 HR AWAY from our final destination. 5 attempts on calls to reroute to closer location.

The move in instructions are a bit complicated. I came in the first time on Thanksgiving Day after renting a space on line. I received the codes on line but it wasn't clear which box I was supposed the enter the *_____# code; so, I tried it on the wrong building first. Then on the right one but received a you have to set up your code message. I came in the next day and the two young men at the front counter were very helpful and I was squared away.

My reservation was lost. After looking several times online I called to ask questions and reserve the unit so I could be confident it was what I needed. The reservation was lost. Then it was found and was totally different than what I was told. It was specifically what I didn't want. The worst part is that my phone call and hold time was over an hour. Long over an hour. Then I inquired about renting a truck. I was told there were trucks for my move available over the weekend. I decided to go to the store and check in and sign papers like I was told.. and they couldn't find my reservation for the unit and then found I was charged, checked in and wasted a trip for the wrong unit anyway. Then.. I asked about the truck rental and figured I'd take care of that while I was there and I was told there's nothing and they were overbooked! This was only few hours after I wasted time on the telephone. I was upset about the multiple set backs and being inconvenienced more than once. The storage unit is clean however there are gaps in the broken cealing cover and I can see above the unit. I'm not sure what the problems are but I have been happy. It's uhaul in the past. This time I was very disappointed. I don't have time to hold an hour trying to file a complaint. It obviously isn't going to help my situation if there's nothing available. I can't afford to waste money in the middle of a move

Our furniture was in this climate controlled facility for 21 months with zero issues. The unit was as clean as it was the day we put the furniture in the unit. The furniture was not covered and never got dusty! Amazing! We never entered the unit until we opened the door to remove the furniture and the floor was very clean. No bugs or rodent sightings. I highly recommend this Uhaul and would rent here again.

The storage unit was clean and well lit. If I have an access code and key for the lock I should be able to access my unit 24/7. Also the price of the unit was raised 3 times in under 2 years. I cannot recommend storage units with U-haul because of this.

The staff at this location is extremely friendly and helpful. I honestly could have used a storage unit and truck pickup at a more convenient location to my house but I chose this one due to the staff.

Everything was great about this storage facility except for one thing: We found rodent feces on the floor of our unit once we moved everything out.

I had a storage unit for my landscaping trailer and landscape equipment. Every time I tried to access my unit, it was blocked by Uhaul trucks. EVERY time. In order to get my trailer out, I had to go to the office (if it was open), ask them to move their trucks, wait for someone to move 2-4 trucks, and then gain access. This procedure had to be repeated when I returned to put my trailer back. I asked the office people to please not use the entrances to the storage units for a parking lot but was told that's where they had to park them. I emailed a manager more than once about this problem but nothing changed. I was paying more than 240.00 per month for a unit I couldn't get anything out of without the hassle I just mentioned. And mine wasn't the only blocked unit, the Uhaul trucks block lots of them, so I'm sure other people have the same frustration. I also had rented a climate-controlled indoor unit and had no problems with that one. The only reason I also moved out of that one is because of the problems with my outdoor unit and I wanted to keep both units at one place. I have since moved to a different storage company and have had no problems. They couldn't believe the way your Uhaul facility was operating by parking 24' trucks in front of storage unit doors

Excessively high & unauthorized billings made this the worst U-Haul experience for me. Justin (Asst Mgr) moved me into a 5'x5' space which actually was 4'x41/4', which he verified. He offered to rent me a bigger spaced for a 20% discount at $57.95, I interpreted this as an at least 5'x5' or a bit larger space. (I'd moved out of another space in a different state so I knew how my items should fit in that size space. That space cost only $62.90/mo., including insurance, much less than $82.50.) Also, the electronic card/keypad code didn't work on move-in day (6/14/2020 or for a few days following, setting off the deafening alarm. Then Justin (Asst. Mgr.) & Matt Driscoll (Gen Mgr.) offered me a larger space with a 20% discount, but didn't clarify this would be at my expense. There was an additional unexpected unauthorized billing 5 days later for $13.19 on June 19, 2020 for a total of over $95 for June, 2020. After a discussion with Justin, there was a credit of , then another unauthorized billing to my credit card for $98.48, then another billing for $113.48 July 18, 2020. I have had to contact my credit card bank for assistance. I felt I had to move-out immediately after discovering these unauthorized charges on my credit card, which seemed to get worse with on-site efforts to clarify the price per month. I have moved out. I rented at the same location in the past with a different manager. There were no billing problems. There were problems with break-ins, especially over a snowy, icy winter with the front gate inoperable for a period of time. A U-Haul lock from a previous location also got stuck at the June, 2020 rental, which I replaced with another disc lock I purchased elsewhere. I mentioned this to Matt Driscoll. There seem to have been some other issues causing tension which I don't understand.
