When turning the trailer in I asked about the price adjustment mentioned at pick up and was advised there were no adjustments on cross country rentals. I understand reasons for not adjusting the trailer rental price but do not understand why the insurance wasn't adjusted since only 2 of the 4 days had been used. I would like to see better maintenance done on the u-haul trucks. I had a lot of vibration in the steering and driving at 65mph the engine seemed like it was screaming. Newer trucks with better overdrive would be best. Would help save on fuel cost too.Shawn L.

I tried four different times to have the U-haul return location changed to Wichita because that was where my car was and despite my efforts it remained in Anthony 54 miles away from my car an 10 miles from my home. The only reason I can see for this is either the staff isn't listening or U-haul is trying to stick people with the wrong return location charge of $300 dollars. I returned my U-haul in Anthony an rented it again an still I was stuck with Anthony as my return location despite me telling them that I needed to return the U-haul in Wichita because that was were my car was!! I see that as trying to rip me off or the staff at U-haul just doesn't listen.Randy S. | Overall Experience

I did not like that the split my order to two different uhaul locations and then the first one didn't have the truck so we had to go to a third location. The last place was a corner gas station and I did not like it at all. I think uhaul should have dedicated locations not a gas station side business.James W.
I returned a 26' box truck and car dolly and returned both a day early. They checked in the truck but not the car dolly. I'm hoping they didn't charge me for their mistake. Other than that everything went fine and I would definitely use them again.Francis V.

In the self storage area. During my move in we encountered two different customers that were literally blocking the only entrance door. I am not placing blame on the employees as they were great! But I think there needs to be more done to ensure that certain people are not hindering the access of others to their units.Bradley H.

I was treated as a potential thief by the way the employee asked me questions. The employee that worked with me in the beginning did not look up from the paperwork and the employee that checked me in mumbled. The only thing I can complain about is how hard it was to actually get the keys, the lady had to call 2 people . And I had to re enter information that I already did the previous day . So getting started took about 30 minutes so I had the van less time than I wanted . But the van was nice, clean and the process went great other than the start .Jamal N.

We were giving a 10' moving van to use. We were told the tank was a quarter full. It barely had enough gas to make it to the gas station 4 miles away. I had to sweep out the truck before we used it, as well as sweep it out again before I returned it. The drivers seat was split/splitting (you could see the springs) in the middle, making for a very uncomfortable drive to and from Manhattan KS. When I brought the truck back, I mentioned all this to the supervisor on call. He said he was aware of the issues, including the damaged seat. He said that he is told from headquarters â€œto drive the truck into the ground.â€ I was also concerned that they didn't offer discounts as the other companies do for students, but was told by the lady checking the truck out, â€œwe're going toâ€¦ just not now.â€ We went with u-haul, because of the good reputation you had. Recommend Wichita and OKC 2nd street, but first attempt at a close drop off at OKC Santa Fe location was crazy stupid bad service!!! Pulled in. Parked with trailer to turn in. Went into office and gentlemen told me that uHaul was closed. I looked around and said am I not in the office and returning a trailer at this moment? He said it was complicated and that he had no computer service. Wow. So crazy. But e en crazier.., he sent me to another location that did not exist. Right, the building was not there as mapped. Horrible experience. Until I called 2nd street location and went there.MARTIN N.

I did everything online so I assumed that I was checked in and ready since it said my key was in my unit.
