THis location was fine but prior to arriving here I was given the "run around" by U-Haul regard WHICH location actually had the trailer I had ordered.

I had scheduled a mobile pickup for 8 am, before the store opened. Apparently, the night before my pickup, my pickup was changed to an in-store pickup at 9:30 am. **I was never notified of the change.** I arrived at 8 am and had no way to pick up the truck until the store opened at 9. I had movers scheduled to arrive at my house at 8:30; I had to pay them for the time they were sitting there waiting for the truck. The store employee was rude and unhelpful. I spent close to an hour on the phone with customer service because they kept dropping my call or transferring me to dead end lines. No one was able to help me or to offset my inconvenience in any way. The store employee didn’t even apologize. My credit card has been charged for the full amount of the rental, despite assurances from a customer service supervisor that, at the very least, my miles would be comp’ed. I have now filed a formal dispute and am being told it will be another 48-72 business hours before I hear back from a manager, and it is up to that manager’s discretion whether I receive any type of refund. I can’t remember ever receiving worse customer service in my life.

The customer service at this location was horrible. First, I was told that a 15' truck was available at this location for pick up at 1, then I received a text that the truck was available at a different location at 3:30. The second location did not have a truck available b/c the previous renter didn't return it on time. Then I was told that a truck was in fact available at the first location!! When I mentioned this discrepancy to the employee at this location he made zero effort to improve my experience, he didn't even apologize for the inconvenience and only said "Gotcha". You've lost a customer and gained negative Yelp reviews.

I vacated the storage room only because all the contents were distributed to several persons or donated or disposed as had been planned.

Pull truck out for customer. Remove ad screen in window. Truck was parked so close to another truck that I was concerned I would damage it pulling out of the parking spot. I don't think that responsibility and worry should land on the shoulders of the customer.

The people there are really incredible and helpful and seem to go the extra mile to help people. I have had Andrea and Lexus and Alex step up on multiple occasions to help me first with a move (moving truck), then a storage unit and finally the U-Box move. I'm not sure about the U-Boxes yet because my things haven't arrived yet but the people are very nice and accommodating and generally just nice and willing to help. Thanks for helping through a stressful situation.

Make sure to actually provide the equipment that a customer has reserved; I reserved a furniture dolly and there wasn't one available at pick-up.

I was charged $ 87.00 for a pick up truck that I used for about 21/2 hours. I picked up my truck at 4:45 PM on 8/31 put $ 10:00 in gas in it, which was more than I used. I returned the truck via the uhaul app, as I was asked to do. This morning I looked at my emailed receipt and saw that I was charged $87.00!!! For WHAT??? I am very upset with uhaul for this, I am trying to move and I need every penny I can hang on to. I didn't keep the truck over night and was still charged $ 20.00 for a late return fee. Uhaul advertises 19.99 for the truck and then tacks on all these fee's. I called and spoke to the same young man who rented me the truck he said his manager would call me back, she never did,,,, this, to me, is unacceptable. I was told I would be refunded for the mileage i didn't use and i wasn't.. i NEED Uhall to make this right!

I tried to call the location to inform them I would be there right at 7 when they close and even had a friend there waiting for me while I was pumping the gas across the street. As i pulled in they kicked my friend and my son out of the buliding and refused to check me in. I had tried to call using my boyfriends cell because my cell had stopped working that day and I wouldn't be able to check into the mobile app to complete the rental after hours. Therefore getting charged the 20 dollar fee. The employees were just sitting at the computer looking out the window at us.

I made an appointment to pick up a vehicle at a certain location and for some really dumb reason.... It was changed to a different pick up location. Might be a good idea to allow the person to select the location and NOT CHANGE IT!!!!

Ive been going to this Uhaul for over 10years bc we rent trucks for work. It’s usually very frustratingly slow. Your new system is a welcome change and today was the quickest I’ve ever been in and out of the check in and check out process

I signed up fo the 24 hour pick-up, confirmed this, and then was told that the pick-up was no longer available due to the increased amount of theft and that my 8am pick-up would now be 9am when the store opened. I arrived at 9:03am, behind 4 people, and although the service was pleasant, there was zero acknowledgement from the staff, and the wait was over 30 minutes at the store.

Get a credit card reader. The agent typing in everyone's credit card numbers into his computer makes the line move very slowly.

I reserved a 20’ truck days in advance, upon arrival there were two trucks on the lot but not mine. Why was I forced to accommodate for a late return I don’t know? I would think there would be some type of accommodation or follow through explaining why my reservation was not honored however both of the other two 20’ reservations were. Fortunately I was able to make due with a smaller truck just so I didn’t spend my day figuring out the logistics. I’d rather not deal with U-Haul in the future although other experiences have been at par. It’s incredibly disrespectful to not honor a reservation because you “can’t find the keys” or “someone might have accidentally taken the keys home” which both were excuses

The facility is very badly laid out as there is no elevator to over half the units. How on earth can an old woman get boxes of books up over 20 steps to a storage space without hiring muscle help?

My reservation was for a 10 X 10 unit and when I arrived with a truck load of my things, I was told at the service desk that all that was left was 2 @ 5 X 10 units. This limits my storage space.Bummer

Your employee Purcell is angry and abusive. He would not move an unused truck out of the load zone so we could unload. He called me clueless and was aggressive. I am not comfortable going back there.

The storage unit I was promised was not available which meant I needed more units than I needed. The staff was unaccommodating around timing. From a rental return perspective everything was great.

Trying to move in and out was made more difficult because the load/unload area in front of building, which was NO PARKING, was always blocked with trailers and employees cars.

Thus rating is relevant to the MLK location. The manager was not willing to help out when my pod was not physically located as the same place virtually. Truly a bad experience.

Christopher Castle offered absolutely no apology or help to get our u-pod to its rightful destination 35th in W Seattle, There was no communication telling us the pod was delivered elsewhere.
