After I booked an paid for the trailer I was told to meet the individual to attach the trailer to my car and when I went to the trailer, no one showed up for over 10 minutes, I went back inside and was told that other people needed assistance before they would assist me. When I called the location I got a call centre and the person didn't know the total height of the 15 foot truck and said 7 ft 2 which is the interior height. The website shows height to the bumper and height to almost the top but not total height. Very important to know this sometimes.John R.

My experience was terrible. I checked in with my phone in advanceâ€¦. When I arrived, there was no record of my check-in and I had to spend another 20 minutes to rent my vehicle. The agent then gave me the keys and sent me to a truck that was blocked in by other trucksâ€¦. I had to walk back and ask him to move them so I could get out. Then as I am driving I realize that the driver side mirror is completely loose and moves as the wind hits it. I need to drive with the window open so I can keep readjusting the mirror by hand. When I arrive at my deatination, I open the back only to find 2 appliance Dollies in the back. I need to remove these in order to load the truck. My expectation is that when I take the time to check in by mobile in advance, that the truck is out front and ready for me when I arrive. That I can just get in and drive away. That there are no safety issues with it and that it doesn't have crap in the back. You need to do better. This is the 5th truck I've rented this year and 4/5 times the process was terrible.FRANCESCO F.

Original Reservation was made on March 16 for April 28 pickup. Last minute location and booking changes by UHAUL added hours of travel time as well as costs. Reservation process is not honored and front line staff are left to face the Client with bad and disappointing news at a very stressful time.Claudio M.

My tralier: AV0009C had completely bald tires, I was very worried of the safety of the trailer. I was very disappointed UHaul had no concerns of the safety of it's customer. If a blowout had occurred this would be a tremendous hazard to your customer and others on the road.Eddie Y.

Extremely long line to check in (12 when I left) for a busy May 1st, student move weekend. Only 2 staff serving at the desk. I had completed the online checkin but would suggest to have a priority line for those if you want people to do that. Didn't matter if I checked in online or not. The mobile U-share service is a complete failure! Each time I signed in, it would prompt me to ask for verification code because "it didn't recognize my device". So I waited until the customer desk opened to retrieve my u-haul truck. They were kind enough to give me an extra half hour with the truck. I will absolutely NOT recommend the mobile ride share program.Mark S.

I moved my stuff out of the two rental Ubox containers 2+ weeks ago and guess what their staff didn't do their job right and I got charged 270 dollars 2+ weeks after moving out and emptying the ubox containers. Horrible experience. Don't take your business to this location. I didn't even choose them, I had requested my stuff shipped to a facility in Mississauga but Uhaul shipped it to this horrible location instead. Drove thrice to this location to get my money back, I was promised a refund but front desk couldn't process cause they said Ubox thing is all new to them, they are not trained. Their manager Michelle will process it, who is never on site , there's no way for me to reach her. UHaul call center tried calling and emailing but they couldn't contact either. I am still waiting for this manager to process my refund of $270 but she doesn't care. She is never available. This has been a very horrible experience with UhaulPrerna B.

Customer Service at location always good. Quick and easy pick up and return process. Only issue I have is with Uhaul Corp policy change that you must give 2nd phone number of someone who lives outside house as a back up. We rent multiple times a year - never an issue and I give my contact cell and my husbands - this should be enough. We don't have family living in Ontario. Why I have to give a name from someone I work with is not a good policysusan W.

Re truck -- had to rent the truck because the reserved enclosed trailer was "down for maintenance". An open trailer was not an option due to expected rain. And while truck was overall in pretty good condition, the windshield wipers were terrible - rusty and shredded. Obviously have not been replaced in a very long time. My biggest concern however is the hidden fees. I was asked how far I'd be driving and was not then informed about the potential for a "distance charge" vs "in town" mileage rate. I'm sure it's probably in the fine print somewhere on the contract but for transparency your staff should explain it. Between the unavailability of the originally promised equipment and the hidden fees of the truck I learned about after getting the invoice emailed, I had to rent I've spent well over $150 more on this move than I expected to. Next time I'll be exploring other options with more transparent pricing One thing I should say however is your staff were all very friendly and helpful - so that's a plus. Other than that - a poor experience.Paul W.

Van was filthy, smelt like a barn inside, cup holders and steering wheel was dirty and sticky, vehicle was overdue on its oil change, steering wheel is off centre, brakes made noise and vibrated like crazy on the highway. Oh and best of all i realized i was sitting on little shards of glass that was all over the drivers and passenger seat. Unsafe, not road worthy and unacceptable.Omar H.

The customer service representative was very unprofessional. He kept me waiting and kept talking to his friend on a call. Asked me to wait outside for detaching the trailer from my truck. When I went inside after waiting 15 min he was still on call and when I asked him why he is not coming he pointed me to a trash bin he was emptying saying can't you see i am working . I said you are keeping a customer waiting to work on cleaning the shop??? He became even more agitated and rude.SHAH M.

Excellent customer service! Michelle Spelic and her team were very helpful and knowledgeable. I rented a cargo van for a day and a storage for two months . It's very nice and easy to have both rentals in the same area. I will surely recommend U-haul 朗Salvador M.
Very poor customer service. No greeting or wasn't helping when picking up the truck. I had to figure out with the key to see which truck door would open. Dropped off the truck and lady said everything was ok. I told her should you not check the truck and she said not to worry about it. Next thing I noticed was a $20 plus tax sur charge. I called the location which a poor customer service rep Lucas answered. Very unprofessional. Got into a heated exchange of a gas sur charge. The truck was only used over an hour. I put in the gas that I used and even to a picture of the gage. Thank god there are plenty of other places you can use. I will be submitting this review to all my social media data base and all link reviews online. I don't like being cheated. It's unfair. This could have been resolved if you would hire decent people with common sense and courtesy.DOMINIC C.

We tried to access the unit between 5 to 6 PM and the office was shut because it was a Sunday. But the door would not accept the code and I called 1800 number which didn't help at all. They said the manager at the site needs to be talked to. I had to cancel my plans and then come back the next day sacrificing my sleep and spend 4 hours to pickup and transport the items in my unit and then go for a 10 hour night shift at work. The people were polite. The girl who showed me my room realized it wasn't clean already so immediately mopped it. But the service experience as a whole was absolutely horrible. We reserved the space and truck. Called to confirm everything was good the day before. Was thanked for confirming. Then. Arrived to be good our space was rented out. Apparently the reservation means absolutely nothing!! It as very upsetting. I had to move my mother in that one day and had done all the work to prepare only to be told that reserved means nothing to anyone at uhaul. The girl apologized that this is the policy. Offered to call another location. But we picked that location for a reason. It was very stressful for my senior mom. We ended up in a much more expensive space just to spent through everything. Had to fuel up midway through a move with a truck full of belongings, no truck availability, also rented me another cargo van with a flat tire, had I not noticed I could have been in serious danger on the highway driving.
