Change van/pickup policy. Recently moved to TX and unable to rent vehicle that I wanted because I did not have a TX resident license yet. Move was 16 miles away and vehicle would have been returned to sane location it was rented. Not sure how having a TX license is going to help against vehicle damages or the return of the vehicle since DL info is provided at time of rental, but the staff was understanding and professional when explaining new policy. Would still recommend because of staff and management.Eric J.

I had a reservation and I have used this UHAUL location several times, but each time I have to go through the same process of waiting in line and explaining the (trailer) equipment that I want to rent and show my ID. UHAUL should use reservation details to make it nearly self-service to speed up the process.Evan H.

Double check and Get your mileage readings correct before releasing a vehicle. Mine was off by 28 miles. Also dont mark down a gas tank as completely full when it was really a minimum of 2 gallons shortAndrew M.

I returned the trailer within my rental window and was told I was good to go. I never received the email confirming the return of the trailer. I called customer service and was tied up on hold for 50 minutes, and the call dropped while waiting for the agent to contact the local store. I decided to just go back to the store rather than calling again. The person at the front counter remembered me and told me I was good and not to worry. He told me they are just back logged. Two days later, I got a call from the store asking when I was going to return the trailer. I let them know it was returned. He told me he would get it taken care of. I now have a pending charge on my credit card for about $130 which is much more than the $20 of the rental agreement. I am just anxious to see what happens in this comedy of errors in getting the rental return checked in.Mark S.

We had rented a 17 truck with dolly online. I was charged for the truck online. We get to the store and we are given a 15 foot truck with no dolly to move a 3 Bedroom house. I was also charged a second time for this new truck. When dropping off we explained what happened. Hopefully my money will be returned for the first rental. You need to fix your self return website. We spent 30 minutes trying to complete it after getting stuck at the same part over and over. Rented cargo van and the van had not been cleaned. It appeared that prior user had hauled landscaping or plants since there was a lot of dirt and leave. Not necessarily a problem since I used a blower to clean it out and it was fine after that.Michael H.

The pickup only had 1/8 tank of gasoline when I got it. The paperwork said the truck had 7/16 of a tank. I added 4 gallons. When I returned the pickup, the clerk asked if I replaced the fuel. I only drove 40 miles. I told him that I received it with only 1/8 tank. The clerk insisted that I pay for fuel that his record said I used. I showed him a photograph of the fuel gauge but he still insisted I pay for fuel. The paperwork also said it 21,643 miles but I showed him a picture of the mileage at 21,669 miles. I had to request the supervisor and wait for him to arrive. He courteously closed the invoice and I left thanking him.David S.

The dolly that I laid for was not in the truck, I had to drive all the way back to the UHaul after going to my destination to pick up the dolly. Then, when I dropped off the truck, the UHaul website could not recognize my location (even though I followed instructions to allow location services). So I paid an extra $20 plus round-trip gas because of something that was your fault. Fun times.Jayson F.
I arrived with having my Uhaul changed to an hour late, the first person said they didnt have my rental. I then waited and came back to cancel, then all of a sudden they did have my uhaul. The first person did not know how to read the information on his computer, I guess. Then I get my uhaul and I reserved a dolly as well, I assumed it would be in the uhaul but when I got to my destination to move my belongings. THERE WAS NO DOLLY!!! Frustrated is an understatement because they were already closed and I could not go pick up the dolly. I will not be renting from this uhaul, ever again!Lauren P.
I rent trucks from here all the time and it's so frustrating that there is never gas in them. Once again the truck had less than a quarter tank and I had to stop twice to put gas in it on a short trip. It was also missing a windshield wiper which was totally unsafe. I hate to complain but your rental trucks should be full of gas upon rental. It's a terrible policy that you let them off the lot at a quarter tank. The employees were friendly and helpful.Daniel W.
Rented a van yesterday. The gentleman told me its a full tank. I noticed the van had 3/4 gas, but I let that go no big deal. Went to pick a large tv and only took me about 1.5 hr and drove for maybe 25 miles total. got the final bill and they charged me for a total of 81 miles. The staff are just not responsive to customers and don't follow through. I again had to wait 15 minutes for your staff to stop chatting in your parking to close my storage unit account. Staff was not professional. He rushed the entire transaction. Anytime I would ask a question he would cut me off by answering the question before I could even finish saying it (sometimes he provided the wrong answer because he wouldn't wait to hear my entire question before answering). He was eating his lunch right in front of me as I was trying to get information about my uhaul (normally I wouldn't mind this but this guy was eating mozzarella sticks so he was stretching the cheese out of his mouth while speaking to me. Just very unprofessional). While walking me to my storage unit he was moving quickly. At one point he turned two corners and I didn't know where he went because he was walking so far ahead of me. After we arrived at my storage unit, he opened the door for me then wished me a nice day and walked off. I would have appreciated if he would have asked if I had any questions about the unit (which I did) or offered to walk me back to the front of the storage building because the place was a maze. I had to figure out how to get out on my own since he left immediately after opening the door. I rated 2 stars because the worker was able to complete my reservation without any issues so he at least did that part well.Asia C. | First Impressions

After arriving with a loaded truck the unit I reserved was not available. It was a much smaller unit. It was marked wrong on their sheet unit size so even the employees didn't know. Plus after not having anymore available units at all they then could not refund me my money and said I need to come back tomorrow. Only one issue with this facility, Employees always park their vehicles in the loading zone at the only entrance to the inside units. With this as the only access for "customers" to load and unload for the inside area, its quite inconvenient to have to park behind all of their vehicles when they should be the ones parking out back. Charged me for one unit (10x15) and after paying at the front desk a certain amount, The employee took us to the unit and it had a lock on it indicating that it was occupied. They did not have another large climate controlled unit so they decided to give me 2 smaller units (10x10) for a set price. We went to pay for our 2nd month and the total was for 100 dollars more. The manager said that he would email the main office to keep it the same as before and get back with us. The facility is nice and clean and well stocked. The regular employees are knowledgeable and helpful. However when we went on 10/17/2020 there was a replacement crew since the owner was on vacation. The rest of the regular staff was not scheduled to come in until 130 in the afternoon but Saturday mornings are crazy busy and this replacement staff knew about UHaul but not about that location. I had to wait in long lines four times to get problems solved and answers to questions. I still don't have a lot of confidence that the UBox that we filled will be shipped correctly. ALSO THIS FACILITY DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH PARKING. It is crazy and dangerous there with so many, cars, trucks and people darting all over in a tiny space.JoAnn G. | Overall Experience
