Did mobile app pick up. App wouldn't allow me to get truck when I got on site and I had to go in store. The lady I dealt with was respectful and really nice and did a great job. Upon returning the truck, the guy who came to the truck ignored my greetings despite me saying it twice. Definitely rude, and when I was being charged they $40 fee was added on despite me having confirmation to allow drop off at the time and day with no additional charge. And after showing proof of that, all the associate had to say was â€œthey wasn't suppose to do thatâ€ and then charged me accordingly. Right wiper did not work, other then that, truck was in good shape with the exception of a odd noise front passenger side under hood.Anthony O.

I rated this experience five stars, but not because of the location itself, or the equipment I rented. I rated it five stars because of the employee who assisted me on both pick up and return. Keith Reed was knowledgeable, respectful, and courteous. He helped hook up the trailer to my SUV because I had never done so before, and he helped unhook it when it was returned. When I showed up for my original rental, the truck wasn't there. The store was closed even though the sign said they should have been open. When the Uhaul worker finally arrived, he had no answers for me. He said to call customer service. At least the customer service lady was able to find me a similar truck with in 10 miles of where I was.Brian M.

Awful experience. We wish we would have gone with the Pods but what sold us was the free month of storage. When we tried to get our boxes delivered, first we were told that you do not deliver to this area. What?! When we called again, we were told it would be $1,000. Again, what?!? When we attempted to call back again, we kept getting hung up on and spent about 6 hours trying to get ahold of a representative. When we would get a hold of someone, the call would be disconnected. This went on all day. At some point, we were even told our boxes cannot be located. We ended up renting a truck and getting out stuff that way but wow. What an awful experience.joshua J.

The Bellwood office was great in addressing our needs regarding our move out our residence in Illinois. But where in UHaul really shined was the Lynchburg VA office, where our U-Boxes were shipped to. Their office was stellar regarding the delivery of our U-Boxes. Kaitlyn, in the office, went above and beyond coordinating the delivery of our boxes. And Jade, our lead delivery driver, did everything possible to insure that our boxes arrived safely and in within our tight schedule. We couldn't be happier with our choice regarding us using UHAUL for our cross country move.Keith D.

I thought all of your driver's were wonderful. We worked with 4 women. Your Illonois operation was much better than your Florida. You phone service on all counts was horrible. Waited forever on all 3 phone numbers we used. Also on the Delivery of our UBox the poor driver was given an incorrect phone number & we could not locate her. She tried to call us. We rented a container to store supplies behind our store for a couple days before Christmas. We returned it empty on the 26th. But we kept getting charged. We called several times to get the charges reversed, but got charged again. Still haven't received our credits. We were happy with the rental, not happy getting charged for a container you've had back empty for a month. It's probably rented to someone else now. Not a good way to get repeat business.Gregory B.

I originally booked my rental from Bolingbrook, IL, but was told I had to drive to Bellwood to pick up the truck. You tell me if you have locations in both places why an employee cannot drive the truck to a convenient location for the customer to pick up. I am also told that the crime rate in Bellwood is not great, so was a little leery, but it turned out okay.NANCY C.

From Initial call regarding information and website help Your staff and accessability has been amazing. You could teach other compaines to be that friendly in customer service. Nothing in near future but from the number of times i called everyone was amazing and helpful. I started with a 4x8 trailer and eventually moved to a 6x12. The staff at the West Maywood location are professional and accommodating. Yesterday they assisted me with signing in and out along with providing me with two swipe cards for my two storage locations. They explained how to use both cards and provided me with a hard copy of my bill. I have two storage units at this location, one of the better investments I've made this year. My units are clean, warm....there's clean restrooms and carts to use to assist me with the loading and unloading of my personal items. Thank you for being there for me West Maywood U'Haul!STEVEN M.

I have rented many Uhaul trucks in my life time. The staff has always been friendly, accommodating and professional. I am used to the team placing the rented dolly inside the truck, making sure there was sufficient amount of gas in the tank and inspecting the vehicle before we leave. This did not happen at this location. In addition, when we inquired about it, the young man that assisted us said that he would place the dolly in the truck but didn't. He said that he was going to inspect the truck with us but he didn't. I called inside and spoke to a young lady. She said that he didn't have to and instructed me to go online and do it. I was very disappointed with my initial visit. However, when I returned, a different young man checked me back in. He was very friendly and helpful! If I am expecting too much, than I am wrong. I don't want anyone to lose his/her job. I just want to receive the respect and service that I feel that I deserve and pay for. You have a very nice and clean facility. The truck was clean too. I just felt like it should had more gas in it. I hope and pray that if I ever use this facility again, my experience will be more pleasant.shirley E.

You should warn customers that the kind of truck I rented is very painful for people of my height. I could not move my legs. The seat could not move backwards.I could barely use the pedals my legs were so cramped. My femur was too long. My knees were crushed into the dash. I'm 6 ft 3 inches.JACOB C.

Being a Company in demand Uhaul is an Extra tool for Our Service Over the years We Use Uhaul about 4 times or more a Month. This New location Started Out great with a Good Management Suddenly 3months ago it Went to Hell. We're renting So Much from Multiple locations that We recognize new hires Renting its a Choir to do business here poor Attitude Clerks Lazy Unprepared for Work Untrained properly today 1st getting Uhaul equipment took 20min because she was using poor judgment finally got Attitude as payback when I explained we use this equipment daily. Here's the Winner return equipment 2hrs later put keys in box decided to walk in and say this because I No how these new hires like to hide over charge for lack of work upon saying to Shania Uhaul Clerk I just returned the equipment She asked if I Could put truck in parking Area I said no I'm sorry I have to go! Immediately she became hostile Said use wasn't supposed to put key in box I said that's what it's there for she said no you walk it in. She asked is the Truck Clean because we charged you before for Cement dirt I said really because we don't use that material it was there before I took pictures of Uhaul not Cleaning it so She was furious because now she had to work We no She doesn't no how to back trailer up in fact we Illistrated how to with last person few weeks ago just a nasty attitudeKEITH M.

Often I use U-Haul, lately I have been renting from the UHaul on 25th in Bellwood, Illinois. 9/29/2021 I returned my rental timely (9:27am) and was only able to receive a receipt indicating the balance of transaction. Additionally my rental didn't have a full tank, I send a picture of the mileage and gas gauge (approximately 9:40am) only to receive an email stating that a full tank is expected. For me this was service. Please note I am about 4 blocks from the Broadview location but because of the unprofessionalism and rudeness of the General Manager at that location I use other U-Haul locations. I would like to continue to use U-Haul with the expectation that good customer service and a high standard of professional is received.STEVEN M.

Jasmin at the desk helped me out so much with my storage unit. When booking online picking the right size storage room was very difficult. I either got a smaller storage from what i originally picked or just picked wrong size. Jasmin was so nice and helped me pick a bigger storage and closer to the loading dock.
