The inside staff did not know how to use the equipment or how to explain it to us. However one of the guys in the garage came out and was a huge help. My wife asked the lady as the front desk could a mechanic come out and help and she said no. In the end the mechanic (as he was leaving for the day) saw us struggling and came out to help. The mechanic told the young man that he could come and ask for help. all parties where helpful but please give them better customer service and trailer training especially if they charger us to help assemble the trailer.

Every worker there needs to work on good customer service, every one of them act like customers are such a bother. The first time I went in I just thought they were having a bad day so I let it slide, but the few other times it has been the same and different person too. I was so disappointed. Hope management can work on these and they can start making customers feel appreciated.

Train your staff. Have the Trucks In Order so you do not have to go back in and them move trucks so you can leave. Have your staff pay attention when a customer returns equipment, and come outside as the sign clearly tells the customer to wait in equipment.

I rented for 8 hours. I had to go pick up truck at a different location, which was fine. I was running late and called them to let them know. When my driver got there, the place couldn't find the keys for the truck. That took some time and made us later. Then we were told that the truck had to be back by 6 not 8pm. My driver asked what time they closed? 7pm. So the uhaul place was told the truck would be in by 7. That is still less hours than I requested. I wasn't present for the drop off. They were not organized at all. Sorry, wouldn't rent from them again or recommend them to anyone.

1. Location was posted to open at 9am on Sunday. This one did not open till near 9:30am. The natives were restless. 2. I returned my vehicle on Sunday and the employee said she sent my receipt to me via email. My bill she said was $103.60. But I still do not have that receipt. 3. Location was great. Uhaul central ops is a NIGHTMARE. My truck location was changed twice before my pick up, the latter of them being 45 min before I was set to pick up my truck. What's the point of taking a reservation if there is no guaranteed truck? I will be taking my business elseware going forward. It's worth the extra cost to me.

The vehicle I used was a "26"truck, yes clean young lady freshener in the truck but the brakes need to be replaced, & the cooling lite came on I smelled it & thinking hopefully I get to return the vehicle.

A lot of steps to use the 24/7 pick up through the app. An email to the customer clearly explaining these steps would be beneficial. The staff inside the facility was excellent.

Very poor customer service! I made a reservation for Sunday. Called on Wednesday to change the reservation for Saturday instead. They said that I was good to go for Saturday. Got to the location, and nobody changed the reservation to Saturday like requested. I had to wait almost 2 hours for an available truck which set me back in my moving schedule. Had a late start to move. I returned the truck Monday at noon to avoid getting charged an additional day. I was told that I was good to go and I will receive my receipt via email. I didn't get the receipt. The next day my debit card got charged an additional $27.27 for NO REASON. My account is in the hold because of this erroneous charge. At this point I'm very livid. I was charged an additional day because the employee didn't close out my contract. I was on hold for 52 minutes over the phone so I went in person. The employee had to call the manager to get my refund. My account is still in the hole because I have to wait an additional 3 to 5 business days to get my money back. I will not recommend this location to anyone. They will not be getting any more of my business and money. Ever.

I went to pick up the truck yesterday morning and was told I had no truck reserved. The girl at the desk seemed annoyed with me and didn't want to help me figure out what happened to my reservation. A few minutes later 2 other employees came inside and helped figure out the situation. I did in fact have a truck reserved. When I dropped off the truck later in the afternoon, the same girl (who was annoyed with me) was there at the desk alone and there were no customers. I walked in with my daughter and asked her twice to please come outside and review the truck with me to make sure everything was in order and she said it wasn't necessary because she checks them all before she leaves. I told her I gased up the truck and wanted her to check and again she said it wasn't necessary because she would check it later. Later in the evening I received another credit card charge and when I called customer service they said it was because I didn't put gas. And I explained that I did, now I have an open dispute to figure out what happened and why I was charged. I would not go back to this location. I had a horrible experience.

Saida Romero provided me with excellent customer service. The other two Black ladies treated me aweful. They refused me a truck and dollies that where clearly available for rent and other services. I am Black also so this is not a racially motivated comment.

The check engine light came on 10 minutes into my rental and stayed on the entire time.

Time spent on the phone on hold, no matter what time of day was ridiculous. Had to make at least 8 phone calls (over 6 hours worth of on hold, disconnections, transfers to incorrect state numbers) to get the boxes delivered to the new address which was 6 miles from the old one. The only way we were able to get the boxes delivered to the new address was to have the online employee email the Traffic Control managers. That person was able to find and set up the delivery in 5 minutes.....We were on the phone with MANY others for over 6 hours to no avail. We were told to either haul it ourselves or empty into a truck we could rent (sounds a little like bait and switch). We will NOT be using UHAUL again and will be telling others of our experience.

Sales representative was great they just need more staff working in the early morning hours I wanted almost 30mins to get checked in and I checked in online. They young man was great and was moving fast. They also need one person to go and pulled the vehicle up for the customer and not the same sales representative that checks you in.

Jasmin at the desk helped me out so much with my storage unit. When booking online picking the right size storage room was very difficult. I either got a smaller storage from what i originally picked or just picked wrong size. Jasmin was so nice and helped me pick a bigger storage and closer to the loading dock. She made my 1st experience with uhaul very easy and fast.

I had a horrible experience with this location. Long story short they are unprofessional (one of the employees was extremely rude, not knowledgeable and had the audacity to tell me to “get off of her phone” before hanging up on me not once, not twice but 3 times! Sent me to a location in Elmhurst and told me to go into the building to see a rep when there is not even a building at the address. It's a closed down barber shop! The entire process was horrible! The truck I finally got was dirty and almost on empty. I was told they don't clean the trucks or fill them up but yet when I returned it I was hit with a $25 cleaning fee! I can't WAIT to call corporate tomorrow!

I didn't notice it when I picked up the trailer but the tires were completely dry rotted. Once we loaded everything I noticed 1 tire had a bulge so I took it to get changed and found that they were both in very bad shape. This could have resulted in a bad outcome but fortunately we caught this in time, but the rental ended up costing me an extra 200 I wasn't expecting to pay, and shouldn't have paid for.

There were no furniture pads available at the location, even though we rented them with the truck when we booked online. We had to go to another location to get what we needed, which was fine but added a little stress to our moving day.

1. I would like the website to be easier to naviagte. When searching for a truck or trailer I found that to change a zip code or device type you need to start the search over. 2. I would like to have it more known that to check in a trailer after hours you need to do that on-site using your mobile device with the location turned on using your app or going to the web page. I did not know this until one of your phone reps told me that after I spent 70 minutes on the phone to check the trailer on after hours because my earlier attempts failed because I was never informed of the procedure. Checking in the trailer after hours was very frustrating . 3. If anyone would like to call me to discuss my frustrations with the web page and check in procedures they may. Bob at 708-819-9180

Please have consistency between the agreement and the application of it. I arrived at the location with an agreement already completed through the phone with Uhaul (probably corporate office), but was told that what I had rented was not possible at that location (a round trip - where I would be traveling to another state and back). The person at the counter was not able to allow me to rent the moving truck, and it was only after speaking with the manager that I was able to rent the truck, though the agreement had to be re-done completely. This took well over an hour and would have caused great hardship, if it had not gone through. I do have to praise the manager, who resolved the situation quickly and helped out a great deal.
