The location was decent and fairly easy to find, and navigate. My only issues were; Though the inside of the truck was decently clean, it smelled soo strongly of cigarettes smoke. We had to keep the windows down most of the trip, and normally that kind of thing does not bother me. My only other issues were the add-on costs. We had a set millage billed for 50 miles and charged for that rate, when we only used 30. But then in turn, were not able to get the truck back until 8:45pm ( instead of 8:30pm) stupid traffic, and my account was charged yet another $20. So the total ended up being $70 for a 4.15 hour rental. Overall, the process itself was easy, and worked well.Lonya P.

Once I figured out the online check in/out process it was pretty smooth. You need some reminder emails for that process so people can use it. You don't have enough people working in the store to handle the volume. Also, the truck did not have the dolly in it I requested. I think the crew working there are really good. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I think they need more people working during the busy times though. When there are multiple customers and only one person working, it takes a while to get through all the customers. Corporate U-Haul needs to understand that it is better to have the their employees waiting on customers than customers waiting on employees.Vincent B.

There was a small issue around the mileage used. I checked the mileage on the vehicle when I entered it and compared it to the sheet i was given by your employee. It matched - .6 of a mile off. Which I was fine with. When I returned it I traveled exactly eight miles - to the .6 of a mile. However, when the lady checked me out she said I drove 29 point something miles. Now she was able to match the amount I was expecting to spend it was just a little concerning that your system was so off. I would give her an A+ for her service. Thanks!!Ryan F.

I would give an excellent rating except I was not informed of an after hours drop off fee of $20. We just asked if we could do it & they only thing said was â€œyes, absolutely no problem at allâ€. No mention of a said fee. We were bringing it back same day to make it available to the next person sooner & at no additional convenience to ourselves as we could have brought it back the next day during regular business hours. We have done the same thing in the past with no additional fee. I attempted to call & was told by an automated teller that we had approximately at 55 minute hold. When I picked my truck up the associate working seemed annoyed about something and was clearly showing it. Other than that, it was a great place to rent a Uhaul.Keith H.
Air conditioning did NOT WORK. It would turn on for about a minute then turn off. Then it would come back on for about 10 minutes, then shut off in less than a minute. This happened ALL DAY and it was beyond HOT THAT DAY! The 12 volt connection for a gps/phone charger, etc. kept falling out if the dash. Very bad maintenance of that truck. Mechanics need to go over it well before it's used again. And after hours check in would not work! Never could connect to it nor would it find the location even when changing my location settings.Ronald K.

The company representative at the desk 5 Aug 0800-1200 in Springfield, OH was extremely friendly and professional. He did a great job of getting me in the driver's seat and then processing the vehicle on my return.. A++ service!David C.
The national online system for scheduling a hitch installation needs to be fixed so it notifies the local shops that an installation has been scheduled. My shop did not know (even though I was confirmed), and did not have my hitch in stock. Luckily, they found one at another dealer close by and were able to take care of me. They did a great job, and were focused on serving meâ€"the customer. One way to fix this glitch is to add a simple statement on a confirmation asking the customer to call the shop a week in advance of the scheduled installation to confirm that all is ok.John B.

We didn't make it 5 miles before the engine had trouble and we had to pull over. No answer when calling the store. Tried roadside assistance and didn't here back for 2 hours. Drove the truck back to the store ourselves while stopping every .5 miles to let the engine cool down. Finally made it back to our store and they didn't even apologize and only offered to comp us for the mileage we used on the truck. Gave us another truck which worked but had to unload everything from the first into the second ourselves. When returning the truck there was only one employee in the store and they were outside helping somebody with propane. So there were 3 people waiting in the store for 15+ minutes with no help. One person even walked into their office looking for assistance. Finally decided to do the online drop off and just handed our keys to the person outside. Horrible experience overall.Levi K.

I went online to schedule an appointment to have a hitch installed on my vehicle. After an hour drive I was told the hitch had not arrived to the installation location. I scheduled the appointment over two weeks ago, and I got no notification that the hitch wasn't there. I used a day of PTO to get this hitch put on. So I asked the guy if he could help me find a way to resolve it. He located one in stock and unreserved at another location. I had to drive an hour to that location and back to get it, but he put it on. This is not a bad review for the location. I would absolutely recommend the location. The service was quick and professional and the guy was happy to help me resolve the problem. My complaint is for the supply chain/corporate/sales whoever at U-Haul that should have contacted me or whoever should have already found the hitch I drove two hours for and routed it there. Four hours of drive time for a two hour installation.Brad M.
U Haul charged me extra because I didn't submit a mobile check in since the uhaul location was closed. I could not find any texts or email with that information. I have 9 emails and 5 texts but none were for mobile check in information. Too bad Uhaul are essentially a monopoly.THOMAS J.

When renting a truck I was asked for a second contact persons information and was told it was required. What gives YOU the right to expect me to give another persons private information to you? That policy need to be rethought! When returning the truck, the sign said to stay with the vehicle .. I did for 15 HOT minutes while your employee was inside playing on her phone then claiming she didn't know i was there. UHAUL, you really do need to step up your game.Deborah S.
