Thank you to the lady that worked the morning of 1/1/2021 at the location 1420 Montgomery Hwy. Vestavia, Alabama she assisted my mom in getting this facility for me because the other Vestavia location was not open when it should have been. Even though things went rough that day that sales rep was a life saver and made it better.

I had various wine storage lockers at the same location for 15 years. Staff has always been professional and accommodated my wine storage needs. I will not hesitate to recommend Uhaul.

I would only recommend the vestavia hills location because of the guy that was working there. He was extremely focus on the customer & made my extremely bad experience with uhaul variable. He's the best. The Pelham location ,Jeremiah did seem to care about the customers future business. I will not return because of the way I was treated by him
There were only 5 blankets in the supply bag on the truck (not 6, so I hope I do not get charged). The after hours return process is flawed..website and app said it had no record of my reservation (even though I used the app to make the reservation!)

we have used this location to store daughter dorm contents 3 summers in a row; it has been excellent every time; 1st 2 yrs were best because we had ground floor unit near entrance/exit/ofc & not too far buried in bldg; don't like having to go up elevators & down many halls & turns, but know it depends on what is available; mgr Sabrena Deming is tops

I reserved the smallest truck and when I got there, they have a much larger vehicle, of which I only filled up about 1/3 of the interior space with my belongings. They also changed the pickup location without asking if that was okay. The pickup location was much further from my house than the one I requested. I will likely not use UHaul again for these reasons.

I thought the facility was in excellent condition. The manager that assisted me with the rental process and then ending the agreement was extremely helpful and very friendly. She made the process very easy and convenient.
The only thing that I didn't like is that the price kept going up. It got just too expensive .

This started out as a terrible experience. The original reservation was for a location closest to the house. When I showed up to pick up the truck a very rude lady said the reservation had been transferred to another location. She offered no reason, no apology and refused to provide me with the $50 credit for not having my reservation on time. I will never use this location or recommend it in the future. I arrived at the new location (1420 Montgomery Highway) and the clerk offered an explanation about the change in reservations and apologized for the trouble. He said he didn't know about the $50 but would try to discount my rental (ended up being a $10 discount). This location understood customer service. The Highway 280 store had no clue. I understand changes in reservations but why couldn't I have been notified the night before? This put me an hour behind on moving my daughter. Add the frustration and irritation the useless clerk created, it wasn't a very pleasant experience. I would have no problems recommending the Montgomery Highway location but there is no way I would ever recommend the Highway 280 location. It does not reflect the positive reputation UHaul wants to project.
Not pleased that there was equipment in the truck that was deliberately put in the way to try and charge us extra if we wanted to move it. Never using UHAUL again. There are other moving trucks that are of the same quality and not trying to run a scam. Ridiculous.

Fast and easy return, awesome customer service.
I would like to give a BIG shout out to Darrius Artis at this location. From the 1st day that I moved into the unit, until the last day, he has been a Superstar Represenattive of the U-Haul Company Brand. He assisted my family with every aspeect of our storage and rental needs. Yesterady when we arrived to pick up our truck, we were informed by the CSR on the phone that the keys were not dropped off and thus we had to wait for 2 hrs or see if another location had a similar truck. I saw Darrius in the store and asked for help. We explained the situation and he advised he attempted to reach us the prior day due to a system glich. Since the store was n't open yet and we had Glorified Movers coming in 20 minutes, he immediatley assisted us. We received our truck 15 minutes before the movers arrived. If you are looking for a good place with great service, go to this location and ask for Darrius, you will not be dissapointed. Thank you Darrius. Stay Safe and keep up the Great Work Sir.
The truck had not really been cleaned before I took it. There were mats on the floor with mud all over them. The people who assisted me were wonderful! They made it all work!

The elevator malfunctioned and we got stuck in it several times during our move in. Not a good thing for my husband, who has claustrophobia. Other than that, everything was clean and well maintained

Price too high. For what I paid should have 24/7 access to my property. Also Uhaul is too eager with price increases. Many times the gate was inoperable. If you don't like price move out!
It is interesting that there are 2 Uhaul’s on the same road - less than a mile apart but each offers a completely different experience.
