Keep better track of the equipment. We returned a dolly before leaving for our move to Ohio. Never received a email receipt. When we arrived in Ohio we were charged for the missing dolly. Called this location to find out it was never returned in the system and this location doesn't use the correct equipment numbers...! So they couldn't track what dolly it was. The manager in the morning was very nice and welcoming. When I went to return the vehicle in the evening there was a younger and older gentleman working. Clerk was unable to explain all details of charges. Rented a $19.95 truck, but initial was almost $100. I asked why and the clerk said he just goes off what's on the screen. There was a $22 charge for fuel, so I asked, â€œdoes this mean I don't have to put gas in it?â€ He said no, I still needed to refuel. I've rented on multiple occasions from Uhaul and never ran into this before. If I had another option, I might have walked away and tried elsewhere.KEVIN S.
The only bad experience I had renting a UHaul was the truck had roaches. I took the truck back and the employee fully understood the situation and swapped it out no questions asked. Roaches are everywhere and some people live with them and I understand that but my only suggestion is to spray the truck before someone else rents them. I'm just hoping I didn't bring any of them into my new house.Esteban L.

Left side locking mechanism of the drop gate was out of alignment. It took about 3 minutes to pull the pin out and another 3 minutes to put back into place. Otherwise the trailer was mechanically sound.TERRENCE B.

Your employee gave the deposit to the wrong person someone we don't even know or he took the money himself. When we confronted him he was rude and proceeded to kick us out of the store. The person he said he gave the money to went in with us two days later and he still proceeded to lie and tell us to leave once again this will be made public and have posted the videos to social media and let everyone know.HUNTER B.

Friendly and professional service received, but the vehicle was not clean. Vehicle was not maintained as I was required to add power steering fluid during the trip. The vehicle had an exhaust leak that became worse during the trip. Very loud. Could have been identified and repaired prior to issuing me the vehicle. Or given another vehicle.SETH PATRICK W.

We reserved a pickup truck received a quote to include mileage because the lady repeated how many miles we would be traveling. We were quoted roughly 400 I'm sure with tax and all this would be a Friday-Sunday. One the day before we receive a call that no pick up truck was available so a free upgrade would be available. So with understanding at same price quoted. Then on day of 730 am we receive a call that the car pool was not available and we would have to pick it up in a different city. Kinda defeats the purpose of reserving ahead of time. But now my credit card was charged twice. For the vehicle plus the mileage. Correct me if I am wrong, if we told the first agent where we were traveling and she included that mileage into the first original quote shouldn't I keep the "free upgrade" to include the mileage she entered into that quote. Makes no sense! Yes I am upset over $800 for mileage.Erica S.

Picking up the uhaul was easy and simple with the first representative that I spoke with in store but after coming back to return uhaul I had to deal with a obnoxious employee that was only worried about his personal time and was also upset that I was late due to traffic and charged me a another day for not knowing about calling if I was running late how does one hour turn into another whole day of charge? After I asked if I could just hold on to uhaul and use for another day he said no since I'm there I have to leave it and deal with the extra charge. The second rep is not the right rep for this company but the first guy I worked with was awesome second guy that took my keys from drop off can learn a lot from the frist guy.Edward T.

I don't remember the gentleman's name however if you check the person who handled my charges you could pull him up. He was rude with complete lack of customer service, completely disrespectful and at one point stated â€œ dead assâ€ because the person who gave me a ride to pick up the truck parked in the wrong area.. He refused to help me until my friend moved his vehicleâ€¦ I won't even say young man because he was not, this immature male person made my experience so unpleasant that I would never refer someone to this uhaul location. When I picked the u-haul up the back was already dirty with dirt and a few small items on the floor of the haul area. I went ahead and took the truck and done a short move. When returning the vehicle the representative opened the back of the u-haul walked over and grabbed a broom. He then handed me the broom and said â€œ I need you to sweep out the back of the u haul or I will have to charge you.â€ I took the broom and swept out the pre assisting dirt to keep from being charged. I just don't think it's fair that I had to clean up someone else's mess just not to get charged for this truck.Billy B.
