Do not have people wait so long to get their truck checked in when returning. There are plenty of monitors by the counter to look up and see people are waiting and probably have things to do. Nobody wants to go wait in a long line to have an employee follow them out to check in a vehicle after waiting in a long line to get the vehicle in the first place.

The truck I used was unsafe for the road the drivers side window jump track when I tried to seal it the window was so lose it could of fell out on the highway the suspension is totally trashed and the truck was making noise in wheels. Junk for the price. I'm sure the state would like to here from me.

The individual person who rented me the unit did not tell me it had a lock on it.. I had to go back to the truck get the information who customer service to find out the number to the lock that was on the back of the truck that I used. I lost precious hours of man help.

I love the mobile pick up and drop off option; I first uaed this feature a few years ago in Wooster, OH. What I didn't like was when I pulled up 3hrs early (return not due til 7 or 730) to the designated drop spot I was startled by the female employee. I greeted her with a warm hello, but it was not returned; not even a smile. I had notified I was not ready and needed to pull my car up to truck due to having a heavy item and me having a medical support boot on left foot (my car was about 4 car lengths away). When I pulled up beside the truck she was already in the cab of truck with my belongings inside; including confidential personal and/or professional (medical, legal, HIPAA) documents, work items and laptop. She kept asking for the key to the truck, I replied I told you I wasn't ready; meanwhile a potential customer walked up and asked if I was the worker I said and nd point to the wom in the truck. The worker appeared annoyed that I needed her to move so that I could retrieve items from behind the driver's seat. I then began to look for my phone to see my next step for the check in process and she is continuing to ask for the key. I explained to her had she not interrupted me getting out, getting me flustered and spiking my anxiety I would be able answer her question, but first I need my phone. She continued to sit in the truck appearing annoyed and not helping the gentleman. I also stated although she interrupted me that I was glas she was being thorough and the person who inspected the truck in before I got it should learn that because I found water and soda bottles behind the seat; had I not needed to put my laptop baxk there I never would have seen it and could have been responsible; her reply was "is that right?" Finally I retrieved all of my belongings, found my phone with the key. Then she was doing her process on mobile device checking miles and fuel. She then rudely stated about it not being on the 1/2; it was slightly before it. I explained the line at gas station was too long I didn't have time to wait due to needing to be somewhere at 5pm and that I've rented uhaul trucks many times and known that it will charge my card accordingly. As I started walking away she gave me the total I would be charged. I said thank you, got in my car, and left. The worst interaction I've ever had with someone that works for or is affiliated in any capacity with U-Haul.

The truck was full of grease on the floors and walls of the truck. we were slipping in it. Someone could have gotten hurt! Also we had to cover the entire floor so not to damage our newly cleaned furniture. we were lucky it didn't smell like petroleum. Really disappointed with the lack of cleanliness of that truck!

The person inside had no customer service skills and act like he was doing me a favor renting me a trailer I was not impressed also there was a marker light out on the trailer I pointed it out to him he said yeah they knew about it if there's a light on a trailer DOT regulations say it should be working and it was not in the gave me the trailer anyhow not impressed

The particular truck I received had a huge dent in the top by the passenger door that caused a crack into the storage area of the truck. I drove they rain and when I got to my destination my belongings were wet.

Poor customer service. I thought I reserved a truck for 10 hours, but I was told I reserved it for 6 hour. The employee told us about the consequences if the truck wasn't turn back at one o'clock. It was just the way he said it. I pointed out that he wasn't finished with handing me the keys until 7:15. Which means if I brought it back at one, it would be 5.75 hours. He said we still had to have it back at one. He should have opened the door at 7 am. He was a minute or two late in opening the door.

Quit overcharging customers. The computer said the Uhaul I rented was at 3/4 a tank and it wasn't Then yall tried to overcharge me for the fuel. And I left the tank with 3/8 tank full. Over 1/4. I don't appreciate that. And I am dissatisfied.

This rental was a nightmare from start to finish. Went to pick up the rental at 1130am and was told my reservation was for pm. No explanation except that I was told it was my fault. However, the rep sent me to a different store and gave me a bigger truck for the same price. Of course that meant more gas on the tail end but that was just a minor thing compared to the rest. Checking in, I struggled with the lock. The guy at the desk wouldn't help, just told me to push down on the handle while I was doing it. It took both me and my husband together (and about 20 minutes in the heat) to get it opened. Next I attempted to review and update damages. I took pictures of scratches, dings, etc but the app wouldn't upload them. Back into the office where I was told to just take the pictures and hold onto them in case there was an issue. Since I couldn't go any further with the self check-in, he printed off my contract where it stated there was 5/8 of a tank of gas when there was less than half. I took a picture of the gauge and went back into the office where he (Austin?) labeled it half a tank. By this time I had been trying to get my rental for almost 2 hours. I returned the vehicle after hours so attempted to so the online return. I had filled it to half, but the return still showed it should have been 5/8, and when I attempted to take the requisite picture of the gauge and mileage, the online system kept kicking me back out to take another picture. After 6 failed attempts, I called customer service. Kendra was a beacon of light in an otherwise dismal experience. She helped, and when it still didn't work online she got the information from me and checked me in herself. The truck itself ran rough and should be sent for maintenance (I now know why it was labeled a local only vehicle, according to the office) along with a thorough cleaning. In this age of COVID it was disheartening to find bottle caps and other bits of garbage on the floor and under the seat. All in all, it was a terrible experience that left me disgusted with that location and UHaul both...except Kendra. Thank you Kendra.

I waited at the counter for 20 minutes before the lady acknowledged my presence long enough to tell me she didn't have my reservation. Then she told me she couldn't help me and pointed to a counter mat to have me call the 1-800 number. They found a truck for me and I rushed over to the new location to pick it up. The employees at the new location were rude and did not help me gather the items I had purchased/rented or show me which truck was mine. They had me gather and drag two bags of moving blankets and the appliance dolly out of the store on my own and wander around the lot for 15 minutes trying to find my truck. I finally discovered it 200 feet away, parked at the tip of the hill off the property. By time I got the truck and was on the road I was already late to meet the movers and had wasted $100 of my reserved time with them.

My only complaint occurred during my return. All of the signage at the drop off location said to wait with the equipment and someone would come out to return it. I waited for quite a while and then went into the store and was helped immediately. Either change the signs or be more responsive to customers arriving to drop off their rentals.

First, the employees were asking the customers for help and suggestions. I was left alone in the store multiple times and had to wait an hour to pickup my truck. Also, my dolly was sort of broken? It worked fine, but two of the bars were detached.

The fuel charge was a shock when I returned the van as I was assessed a fee of over $40 for using the van for less than 5 hrs. and driving less than 75 miles. Outrageous charge...classic buyer beware.

Service was extremely rude and kept talking over us as we tried to ask questions. The truck cabin was a mess and had someone's ash tray remains all over the seats. Had to deep clean it ourselves prior to hitting the road. Take your business elsewhere.

I reserved a 4'X8' LOW Utility Trailer and had to take a 5'X8' TALL Trailer, I didn't have to pay for an “UPGRADE” which really wasn't what I reserved Months before. The 5'X8' TALL Trailer was to big and somewhat of an inconvenience. I have two more reservations for the rest of the summer and HOPE to receive what I reserved.

The receipt provided should include the rental total, not just zeroes for what I wasn't charged. I have no idea what rental actually was. I was quoted one price, when i.picked up the equipment t I was charged a different price (less) but the credit was dropped so it looks like I was charged the original quoted price even though I have a receipt that says I was charged the lesser price. The receipt on turn in just says 0's for everything.

The 26ft gmc box truck I rented in need of repair. The check engine light is on and the steering wheel is way off center , under load the front of the truck starts bouncing around 45mph at times. Also when applying the braked there is a noticeable air leak or vacuum leak. I am a experienced driver so I was able to operate it but I strongly suggest the truck to be put into service for repair

The original 20' truck was not available and so they wanted me to use 26' which would it fit in my neighborhood They did find me a smaller truck, but after hauling 1 load 9 miles the door stuck and there was no other truck available I spent $60 for using the truck 9 miles, made my move quite hard that day Not sure you should offer reservations if you don't have the trucks that were reserved I've been a long time customer but this has me thinking about trying someone else next time I need a truck

Let the person know it has to be refilled with gas. I was given the truck with it under a quarter of a tank… I traveled 22 miles total and I was charged $30 for you to refill the tank. Just think that's a little stupid.

I opened the door to my unit and it was covered in mouse feces and dead bugs. A mouse trap is in the corner. It is incredibly disgusting. There was a hole in wall at base board level that probably lets the vermin and insects in.

The staff is just plain not very friendly. There's just no way around it. From set up with the storage unit, stopping in to be by boxes and other supplies, to finally closing out the unit when I was done. They're just not the slightest bit friendly. Not greeted when I walk up, no "thank you", and simply nothing but the bare minimum in any interaction. It fascinated me every time just how unfriendly they were. I've used other facilities in the area and did not have the same experience, so it's definitely unique to this one.
