The driving experience of the truck was not all that greatâ€¦ steering of the truck was horrible, I had to really sit up and pay attention to the driving and steering for fear that I may have traveled over into the next lane, I literally had to drive with two hands to keep the truck in my lane. that was not a good experience for me and I have driven vehicles that size before and never had to drive like that, but other than that the experience with the clerk was GREAT and he was very patient with meTRAYCE M.

The truck we picked up needed alignment or something it's far as the whole drive we were in a hurry to pick up the items on a time schedule and did not have time to take it back to get another one it was horrible pulling to the left pulling to the right driving slow the truck needs maintenance and on top of that we put extra gas in the truck and we were charged $23 and some change for gas and I had to call back and see what was going on they say I'm supposed to get a refund I thought that was horrible I was very insultedCORNELIA J.

extremely slow check-in (only one person on-site) agent had to try three different ways to find reservation even though I had a printed copy with the reservation number on it this was not a convenient location, but when I made the reservation, your system showed that it had the equipment I wantedâ€¦but it turned out the location did NOT have the desired equipment so I had to take a different kind of equipmentJames O and C.

we rented last minute was told they did not have the unit we wanted but at last minute they did we were renting for sat and sunday, we had rented a 10 foot truck the last 2 weeks prior and a stoeage unit from uhaul we are cleaning out a pole barn . they called us sunday afyernoon wanting the truck back right away, said it was suppose to be back thay morning ,we had thought it was 0am monday so we had to jump up and skurry around ,enpty it , clean it did not have time to fill the gas up the week before we overfilled the gas, no credit for that this time charged extra for gas. the week before our charge was $212 this weej $268 we drove te same distanceKirk R.

I only dropped off here - picked up somewhere else. 1) As soon as I parked and stepped around the back of the truck to head to the counter, the guy was out the door already. 2) Checked me in promptly and and checked the mileage and gas level right away. Notified me of the charge adjustment since the drive was a few miles over the original estimate. 3) No muss, no fuss. 4) Also, a few weeks before I rented, I stopped by to check out the trucks in order to determine which size. The (same) guy showed me a couple of models and answered my questions. Very helpful.MARK R.

This "verification" process is new and something that should have been made clear. It was difficult for me to get someone to take a call verifying WHATEVER it was you needed them to verify about me before I could pick up my truck. U-Haul needs to tell people ahead of time that this NEW step has been included. Also, the person at the location was rude when I explained to him that I wasn't aware of this requirement and didn't have anyone available to call.Christopher H.

Truck was not at location I booked on line. The truck had a large area of dried tar. On the floor by the door. Charge and switched account to driver not my account. Didn't use my credit card on file. Huge mess , only 2 people working at opening. Waited over 30 min to get the reserved truck. So if you have alot of opening reservations, put more people on. Disappointed customerJOSHUA S.

Truck inside is quite clean and easy load rail was very useful to moving with furniture dolly but if they provide the bending rope or bending supplies together, it was easy to fix the one or two package loading. I purchase the additional rope for this. and oil price is so high I only used the 14 miles (3 mile distance) but they charged around 50 dollars... so high and painful to me.. so be sure when you return your truck make it over level than you received level, or they paid even there no differences.Jong Hee S.
